  1. I always enjoy the assumption that because a player gets back on the field after an injury that he is healthy. It means that the player can MANAGE the pain at that point in time. When you consider leg injuries, weeks go by with very limited physical stimulus in the football sense. Hairston was healthy enough to get on the field, but is clearly not healthy. Give the guy a break.
  2. For all those people that say he can't hit the hole, I rarely see many holes to run through for either back. I've seen CJ get the handoff and get hit immediately in the backfield often enough to cut him some slack. One thing that I've noticed watching Chris Johnson is that their run blocking is abysmal this year. We are not a good run blocking team either. Jackson did his thing with little help the majority of the time.
  3. Can't agree more. We need a back up center who can also play guard, not the other way around.
  4. Play action will be the biggest factor come Sunday. The Jets did it well, we did not do it at all. If that element is in our favor this week, then a win is likely. Draws, mis-direction, and play action are essential.
  5. Since everyone has already made up their minds about CJ, perhaps he should be cut before Sunday.
  6. I hear we have a guy by the name McIntyre on the team.
  7. I will be at the game. I will be under heavy sedation.
  8. Our corners are playing terrible football. They themselves own it in my opinion. They are in a good position often enough to at least knock the ball down. To call it coaching is ludicrous.
  9. Spiller and Johnson should be on the field at the same time all the time, if one is in the backfield then the other should be split out wide. Keep mixing up the play action and screen game off of that and forget it, we would move the ball at will.
  10. We have glaring needs, we are 5-4, we have one of the best RBs in football, the team is quite young at important positions, yet we are 1 game from first place into week 11, have a huge win over New England, and did it without a healthy KW all season. We are coming back.
  11. Fitz looked bad today. His accuracy is getting worse.
  12. Well, when you put it that way...
  13. In algebra, I believe dumb and cheap can also be expressed as desperate.
  14. We will beat the Cowboys 42-12.
  15. With the league revenue and ridiculous complexity of the game, it is quite a paradox.
  16. We did not get exposed for one simple reason. They never saw our Wang. In a court of law, that means something.
  17. If season's ended at the half way mark, most of the Super Bowl teams of the last decade would not have made the playoffs.
  18. That is between him and his agent.
  19. The Cowboys can't run the same D against us that the Jets did and be successful even if we run the same game plan ourselves. Play action is vital to the passing game when you have Fred in the backfield.
  20. With the Jets D keying on Fred and no play action off of that on short yardage, it is no surprise that CJ is underutilized. The middle of the field would have been wide open for play fakes with their line backers playing zone. Even with press coverage on the outside, they played zone all day on the inside. We could have run screens inside as well a number of times.
  21. It's not worth complaining about. Stevie does the one arm shove all the time and it does not get called. The Bills lost. What is important is the next game.
