Trading Jackson this off season would be extremely stupid. Fred maybe 30, but his performance each year appears to easily eclipse his previous year's production. One can argue that he has not even played his best football yet.

Great players are never luxury picks. For all those who said that CJ was a luxury pick, I recall Jackson and Lynch being injured in the first preseason game within 10 snaps of each other and being unavailable for game one. You never ever have enough talent at any position unless that season ends in a Super Bowl victory, and that relies on hindsight. Players get injured all the time and every SB champ has a platoon of backups that came up huge en route to the diamond rings.

Spiller is the real deal. Jackson is the real deal. Together with McIntyre next year, Fitz will look much better.

Fitz is not a "winner". When times got tough this year, he wilted. Some people will defend him, but he does not resemble a QB who will take us to the Super Bowl. If the right QB is available in the draft at the right spot, we probably take him. That's impossible. I'll take the Packers offense any day of the week. An early lead makes a bad defense look a whole lot better. Besides, we would actually have an authentic franchise QB for years to come. Draft some pass rushers and you've got a strong playoff team.
