  1. I think he could command a 2nd in some markets
  2. starting to wonder which AFC North team will falter. Am I the only one surprised that Cincy isn't trying to trade Jake Browning into a hot QB market? I think they could get some decent draft capital for him
  3. Steelers play Denver on the road. I hope Russ rubs Payton's face in it
  4. it is the Bears after all so you can't rule out a Trubisky 2.0
  5. still young with SB experience. I'd be all over this
  6. when would the Bears go with a 30 year old safety when they are going young at QB? Do they really expect to win right away with Williams? That doesn't make sense roster wise
  7. he's earned it. He also should have been named Comeback Player of the Year
  8. let's hope he retires from his 15 minutes of fame too
  9. No Cox, no Kelce. Those are huge voids to fill.
  10. he was found to have Dolphins paraphernalia in his closet
  11. I hope we find a way to keep him. He still has the afterburners and makes big plays in big games. If we have a complimentary threat he is more or less unstoppable. The chemistry with he and Josh is real and would be hard to duplicate with new faces. I like having a player of his demeanour on the Bills. He's crazy to win
  12. Jones will revive his fortunes in Jacksonville. Count me as a headband sceptic
  13. Bosa has played 14 games over the past two seasons. Mack has only missed 12 games over 9 seasons, ten of which were in 2021. Khalil is far and away the more sure thing. It is apparent to me that Von Miller needed a Bradley Chubb or Aaron Donald to be effective. As a lone threat he is a non-threat. We will need one other sack threat besides Von. I was hoping it would be Rousseau or Floyd but it never materialized. Maybe we can just rotate other guys and cross our fingers. Josh Sweat is younger and cheaper https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/eagles-taking-trade-calls-on-josh-sweat-give-haason-reddick-permission-to-seek-new-team-per-report/
  14. apparently one reason for his release was that he would only practice on Tuesdays
  15. In the grand old days of yore when men were men, the BBMB ran wild with crazy Bills fan (whatever happened to Happy Sperm Whale?) and the internet was powered by Clydesdales (Budweiser not Bud Lite) I used to surf Hail Redskins. That has since been expunged by the language police. Then I discovered East Coast Sports whose website was as primitive as a 1980s arcade game but with excellent draft analysis. https://web.archive.org/web/20010413133210/http://www.homestead.com/eastcoastsports/ONE.html East Coast Sports was run by Al Fronczak who was once headquartered in none other than Buffalo NY. His mock drafts were strikingly accurate. Today I follow drafttek.com https://drafttek.com/
  16. His production with Big Ben was pretty good but if the Steelers want out there's a reason. Outside of Pickens and Freiermuth, I don't think the Steelers are committed to any of their skill position players.
  17. A lot of teams would love to have our "failures". Many fans go on an internet diet at this time of year. One of the lessons of getting older is spending your finite emotional energy on things and people that are important. All these hot take screamers are vying for our attention by conflating every rumour into breaking news. Up until the draft I assume everyone who goes public with a news item, tweet or statement is lying. That maxim has served me well. Dear Aaron, why not start with playing four games as a Jet before all this multiple season mularkey.
  18. when they went into Baltimore and beat the Ravens with a backup QB I thought it was on
  19. TBH going into the playoffs I feared them more than I feared KC.
  20. So if you have to ask what this is the anniversary of, I guess you're not invited
  21. don't these people know about anti-freeze?
  22. He have a spot for a DT with an exotic name since Starlite Lotulelei left. Junior Ah You agrees. Just learned Foley's brother plays LB for the Rams.
  23. Quality secondary play has been one constant as a Bills fan that I believe characterizes this franchise. Even in the Decade of Fail we had the likes of Jabari Greer, Stephon Gilmore, and Jairus Byrd to name but a few. McDermott has given us good secondary play and with Poyer and White. This is not a business for sentiment with how quickly careers are over and players move on but I appreciate what Poyer and White have done for this team.
