  1. still he has cut us off without notice. I feel like we've been put up for adoption by the team we've supported through so much bad football. As you cantell I'm definitely not over it. The BBMB was by far my favourite online activity. Not all change is progress. I like this site but don't feel that it has the critical mass of the BBMB.
  2. 1. List of user names and aliases used over the last 5 years; stuvian 2. Dates active; since 2003 - 18+K posts 3. City of residence;Ottawa 4. How old were you when the Bills last made the playoffs.: I'm 51 and its too early for math 5. List of your fears; living an unrealized life, not renewing my seasons and seeing the Bills go all the way, renewing my seasons and watching the Bills fail repeatedly and feeling like a sucker It's very reassuring seeing so many familiar avatars. I still feel like someone has stolen something from me since the BBMB shut down. I registered on here awhile back and did some occasional lurking but it looks like I'll be setting up shop here indefinitely. I'm going to pen an open letter to Mr and Mrs Pegs about the BBMB shutdown for publication and welcome your ideas as to what websites or periodicals to approach with it.They need to know what this meant to us.
  3. I feel I have no option but to write to Mr and Mrs Pegs. I'm a 12 year season ticket holder and this is a hard slap
  4. I don't know. We had the most active message board in the league. I've never heard of a message board dissuading a player from signing somewhere. If anything it shows how much we love the team and its players
  5. There are some days when I think the powers that be want to relocate this team. I suppose the first step in doing so is to kill the fanbase's loyalty. Today is one of those days
  6. I'm just totally shocked. There's no doubt it was going downhill and becoming more corporate by the day but you just don't pull the rug out on your fanbase like that. Who do we write to express our outrage? That said, the spirit of the internet is full tilt freedom and there's no way the corporate suits were going to stand for that. I am relieved to see many familiar faces. I learned so much about the history of the team from the BBMB. To have all our expressions wiped out is the equivalent of being kidnapped and brought to North Korea.
  7. Wow, that Marrone guy had a huge porn stash
  8. sounds like he's had one surgery too many - a lobotomy
  9. Perhaps we can wait till Marrone has had a whole year with his starting QB before mortgaging out our future for Mike Holmgren
  10. way to stay strong after losing to a playoff team
  11. Trannyhill is voted most likely fail the gender test week 3
  12. it's wild to me that we don't have all facets of our game clicking but we are coming away with Ws
  13. You had to know things were screwy when one of his exes boyfriends murdered one of his kids
  14. Foles is off
  15. the Chiefs will be my only game this year save for our home playoff appearances
  16. I'll admit during the Bears game part of me was waiting for a Jauron style late game implosion. The Dolphins game we flat our dominated. Our team is getting better each week, especially EJ. His accuracy on long passes is scary good. If he gets his mid range game together it will be luau time. I am enjoying it right now but I'm not letting go of the memory of hurt that ten + years of losing has put upon us. I agree that a win vs SD secures our legit status.
  17. So many positives from this game: Beating the Bears at Soldier Field, starting the year on a win, winning on the road
  18. Colts look lost @ Denver
  19. EJ showed me enough to believe we should stick with him. Most importantly he didn't commit any fatal mistakes and is not afraid to put the ball in the air. I was impressed by the play of our secondary. They were up against some very good WRs and looked very much up to the task.
  20. starting off the year with a road win is pretty epic given recent history. We simply didn't blow it by minimizing errors
  21. this is the kind of game we would have choked away under Jauron or Gailey. I'm impressed with our overall composure, especiall Marrone and EJ.
  22. OBD doesn't deserve respect from their HC if they don't consult him on major moves like Orton. I'm with Marrone on this. We've had enough nice guy milquetoasts at HC already.
  23. I looked up over rated in the dictionary and it had Florio's football knowledge as an example
  24. letting go of OC Turk Schonert days before the season opener
  25. Seahawks steamroll their way to another SB
