  1. Nah, I've been along for this entire ride all the way back to the Electric Co. The line has just been so bad for so long it's amazing. And even the years considered deep in O-line talent, the Bills would rather take defensive backs (please explain Duke Williams and Jon Meeks) than some Grade A beef. The Bills won the Baltimore game due to INT's, not the running game. Although, I must say, it was a pretty decent effort all around. Pass rusher, DL or OL. Anything else (absent a special player like Patrick Peterson), will be annoying.
  2. I'll bite….The Bills stats looked decent for the same reason they and NE looked good against the Jets…..1 long run. CJ had a 46 yard run in the Carolina game (3 yard avg otherwise) and a 54 yard run in the Cleveland game (3 yard avg otherwise). The Cincinnati game was ok at 4 yards per carry. The Baltimore game was skewed by 56 rushing attempts fueled by Flacco's 5 INT's. The Bills' YPC was still less than 4 for the game. I think it may be among the worst O-lines the Bills ever had. I buy the TE argument, but if the Bills draft ANYTHING other than O-line, front 7 or TE….they will continue to struggle against the more physical teams in the league, like the Jets and Patriots.
  3. Still too many holes, plus bad STand a rookie QB. That HAS to cost the Bills 2 victories down the stretch. But I think 7-9 is OK. 2/5th of the O-line shouldn't even be in the league…so I have to temper any enthusiasm this year.
  4. Wait for the Koolaid boys to hit this thread. The special teams are fine. The stats are misleading. They'll be better next year when they have no injuries.
  5. Anyone who can't see how bad Moorman has been is clearly drinking the Koolaid and there's just no point in trying to convince them. Ask yourself the question: Will Moorman be back next year? I'd be willing to bet alot of money and perhaps one the kids that the answer is NO.
  6. It shows you how bad the Bills were. They are merely decent this year with a 4-7 record and we want to promote people. If Vic Fangio and Mike Zimmer can't get gigs, I dunno how Pettine does.
  7. Echo that. They've been inconsistent, but overall better than I thought they would be. I think part of it is having a quality MLB behind them.
  8. When is the last time Pittsburgh traded for an expensive, aging veteran? It ain't never, EVER gonna happen. It doesn't fit the plan especially after you just invested a 2nd and two 3rds in young, cheap WRs.
  9. Keep your good players. Period.
  10. The questions I have for Marrone is: "What are the Jets going to do in the game that you really haven't seen them do on tape". That line from the coach and players is getting old.
  11. Yeah, these guys act like we're 3-7 or something....
  12. I'm so negative on this team it's ridiculous. But I'm not worried about Manuel. I think he's going to be a good one if he stays healthy. He just has to many tools. Size, speed, arm. Seems to understand the offense and where to go with the ball. His execution will improve. That being said, hedge your bets and grab another QB next year in the 3rd.
  13. CJ Spiller isn't the best anything right now. He can't find the hole to get to the open field. I do agree they might as well feed him and see what happens because they suck anyways. But let's not kid ourselves, he has shown very little other than how to get to the sidelines after 1 good play.
  14. Didn't think you could add to that....well done....
  15. While getting bit by a shark.
  16. Bwahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaa!!!!!
  17. You said it perfectly. That and it gives me and my dad something to talk about.
  18. How can it fall when it's been at our ankles for 10 years?
  19. Oh wait....thought of something. Please, please PLEASE cut Moorman.
  20. Ehhhh....... I just got nothing.
  21. Any team with a good defense and a strong running game has a decent chance. I'm feeling 8-8 and I am ecstatic about it. If nothing else, this team is entertaining and competitive. I think 2014 is the playoff year assuming EJ proves to be thee guy. That being said, I think you have to draft a Foles-type prospect in the 3rd next year to limit your losses due to playing a Tuel at QB.
  22. Fred may have more power, but the defense only has to defend about 10 yards of goal line as he's not as explosive. Spiller's speed creates probs everywhere if he would just SACK UP and stay in the game AND the Bills would use him. My only guess is: He must puke after 12 touches.
  23. That bar was rocking like the stadium most of the game and every TV was on the Bills game. Food was ok and the Labbatts was cold and cheap ($2.50). Hey, trying to focus on the positives. BTW - If CJ is so dynamic (which he appears to be), why doesn't he touch it more. Particularly around the goal line. That was a bit annoying.
  24. So the Bills giving up stats in run defense doesn't mean anything (they're fine), but a stat makes them look good......well, THAT obviously means something. They are 3-5 and heading for their 13 th straight losing season. That's the only stat that means anything. When they run, they can't stop the pass. When they stop the run, they go 3 and out. When it all looks like it's going well, they give up huge special teams plays. The Bills just aren't there yet. They haven't put it all together. But I must admit, they are watchable.
