Not to look ahead to far but was just wondering what some of the rest of you Bills fans opinions would be to a question that would be looking ahead . So we finally made our move this year (which i think was great for the team) & picked our QB of the future, given the Bills past draft pick bad choices i was wondering . If EJ continues to do well this year with growth as he has shown & say next year in any of the rounds say a Johnny Manziel , or a Taj Boyd fall to us do you take the chance & pull the trigger on said player at the QB position to do like the Redskins did or pass & get another player ? I loved the pick up of Tuel but if you watch other good teams that have had success they are not afraid to pick up another good QB if they come along which i think has been part of the Bills problems in the past . And i'm not saying picking up a Tyler Thigpen type that did OK in college i'm saying a guy that has proven himself in his college career to be a stud , like when we passed on Russel Wilson the year before the guys college stats & resume prior to entering the NFL were off the charts that kind of guy . Look at the Pats they are always picking up QB's & developing them if for nothing else future draft picks in trades with other teams that come up with a need for a QB , then they find a good one like they seem to have with the kid from Arkansas & they keep him as a back up or if the situation presents itself trade him while picking up another prospect . Just wondering your thoughts because i know we need to get other good players but i love it when we take chances on players that have a quote questionable past (look at Kiko) i think we need to take more chances in the draft with those players & with QB's to build a better mouse trap for the future .

I just wish they would let him do the WR thing to at least see if he can be the guy we drafted him to be & or develop into that guy !!

Although you all may think this is about the Bills & the Superbowl which i would love to see again it's not, read on & you will see what it is about . With all of the jobs going over seas it seems there is talk of more jobs possibly heading over seas. I was just reading that the people in charge of Wembly Stadium are now not only talking about bringing 3 games a year to England but now are talking of the possibility of bringing the Superbowl to England . WHAT ??? So when will it end ? They had NFL Europe & for all the love of the NFL it didn't go over well enough to keep it going, so why should they allow or even think of subbing out the biggest game of the year weather it's Baseball, Basketball, (& although some will argue) Soccer, some say it is bigger, not in my world ! I know there are getting to be a lot more players coming in from different countries to play in the NFL & why wouldn't they ? when you look at the pay checks for playing a game & the recognition from there country with proof of past immigrants that have graced the American stage starting as far back as Yan Stenarude for the Chiefs . I hope that we can keep something sacred to America rather than what always happens & trying to make it bigger & better when in all reality it waters it down & makes it worse instead of better. So what do you all think ? I know some will say that it will be a great thing & argue the fact that it will need to be expanded for a bigger audience but i think that some of the beauty of the NFL is that it leaves us all wanting more . If you expand it to too many games, too many countries, it could do just the opposite of what it took years to build as the biggest & best sport in the world !!

Not only that he had the most production of any of our wide outs in the preseason , If Graham isn't getting it done or EJ can't build a chemistry with him throw Easley a bone . What will happen is they won't use him , its a contract year , new england will pick him up next year & he'll be a pro bowler from that point on - i'm going on record today !!!

I for one see Byrd milking this for all it's worth so he doesn't take the chance of getting hurt like some other FA's have done & risking his huge contract . I think he could come back for a few games but it won't last long so he can just put glimpses of what he will be worth to the team & tease them into a huge contract or play just enough to show other teams that he still has IT !!

This is the guy that owns the Browns isn't it ? You just want us to look as stupid as you do & were not buying it ! Just go away !!! I wouldn't mind seeing what Tuel might be able to do in a real NFL contest but lets face it the only way we see Tuel in a real NFL game is if EJ goes down with a injury , which with the way this season is going that is a good possibility ... Plus even if Tuel would do better than EJ unless it was for a long period & into the play offs i see them putting EJ back in when he was healthy b/c they would not want to admit that a UDFA would be superior to their 1st round pick ...

We seem to always play the Ravens tough but given all of the injuries i just don't know how this one will play out ??? I believe we have the weapons i just don't know if they are being used correctly or if it is just the youth of those weapons ??? I do hope that the injury bug will play itself out early & we get Gilmore , Byrd , Goodwin , all back & by then EJ will have taken enough lumps to be a bit more versed in this offense so we can make a run at the middle to the end of the season .

Well here we are going into the 4th week of the regular season our Bills are 1 & 2 & the injury bug has raised it's ugly head more than we or any team needs . We have a bunch of our starters hurt at different positions one being WR . Which leads me to ask who was the WR that put up the best numbers in the preseason ? That i believe would be Easley --- Right ? So why isn't he getting more playing time with Goodwin out & EJ not targeting TJ that much Easley being bigger than TJ & with his higher out put why is he for the most part being a kick returner & not being put to use ? Am i missing something ? Is he on the field a lot & just not being targeted ? Or is he as i said just being used as a kick returner ? Or was his out put in the preseason not noticed as being useful in Hackets offense ? If the guy was doing well in the preseason why wouldn't they let him try to develop with EJ if TJ isn't ? I will say i haven't seen any of our games so i don't know if Easley has even been on the field with the offense so , Would some one please clear up these questions for me ???

Seeing as he was one of the best receivers of the preseason i can't understand why he isn't on the field more it just plain doesn't make sense !!

Unfortunately there are classless fans all over the league & yes even the Bills have them . There is probably one thing they all have in common ALCOHOL !! They should start handing out doobies at the gate that would mellow out the crowd !! "WOW dude did you see that play that was bitchin" Plus it would send the sales of munchies through the roof HEY a win win !!!

WOW ! can you say flip flop ?? It's the first game & every one is already starting the second guessing !! New EVERYTHING & the Bills fans patience is showing it's ugly face as usual !! Talk about a instant gratification fan base WOW !! I get it but i also GET IT !!!

Rookie Head Coach Rookie Offensive Coordinator + New Offensive scheme + new staff Rookie QB + New Offensive scheme Rookie WR's New Defensive Coordinator + New Defensive Scheme No Byrd & No Gilmore Rookie MLB + New Defensive scheme Penalty's definitely need to be addressed !!! Lose to one of the best teams in the NFL for the last ten years by 3 points with 9 seconds left . So is this a good start or a bad start ? Given all i listed above if the team & rookies continues to get better or should i say more comfortable in the new schemes will the Bills evolve into a good team ? I think given all the that the Young Bills are up against given time i will be the glass half full guy & say this was not a bad start even though it was a loss ! What say you Bills fans ???

Bottom line is the guy finds ways to win & i believe this is the perfect underdog scenario , the guy will give 900% all the time , he proved in Denver that he could do it but i think Elways ego was to big for the both of them what would have been the best thing for him but to sit behind Peyton & learn . But as i said Elway is the legend in Denver & didn't want to have the pressure that comes along with what Teabow brings i think he screwed up it could have been a win win for Denver & for Teabow to sit & learn behind a guy like Peyton ...

Man it's so close the start of the season right around the corner so much anticipation for the season !! One day i hope to be not working & be at the Ralph for the opening day of the season but for now it's only a dream ! ! !

Must be a bird watcher ... Have you ever seen lucas oil stadium ? It is mostly glass on either end & you can see through glass so you still get the view . There may be other places that are a bit better suited for a stadium in Buffalo but this dragging of political feet in the western NY area is why the economy sucks so bad there & why i HAD TO eventually move to make a living . Plus people are drawn to the water , If the stadium plan is built as proposed with a sports museum & convention center it could be a lot like the sights in SF on the water . The other thing with a domed stadium is that your completely brain farting is HELLO SUPER BOWL BID ! Yes if we get a domed stadium on the water front that will mean there will be a movement for more hotels to bring Canadian visitors & eventually a SB bid to Buffalo , but the backwards kind of thinking in this post is what has kept the economy & the Buffalo area in a funk for the last 20 + years !!! But hey start a comity & have it go through the motions for the next ten years by then Ralph will have passed, the Bills will have been sold & moved by the new owner (because of ancient stadium & backward thinking) , hence more jobs lost , no more NFL in western NY & more people leaving the area instead of staying , so go for it ... Thank you i would like to add this to my reply ...Thank You Sir !!!

I get all of the talk saying he might not fit into the new defense & he may not be aggressive enough & all , but just based on his past performance & the Bills FO past performance he should get paid by the Bills . That meaning they paid Fitz for crying out loud & they paid him based on 4 or 5 games in one season & never took into consideration his resume up to that point . Don't get me wrong i think Fitz is a GREAT team guy, very gutsy player & sacrificed everything when he was on the field for the team a true Bills type of player but, that being said the front office was willing to recklessly write up , agree to & sign his contract when his resume wasn't 1/5 what Byrds is . The guy is TOP NFL Talent when it comes to his position . Why are the Bills FO so willing to pay a guy with Fitz resume & not Byrd based on his resume ? Too I think Byrd is using the foot thing to give a little back to the Bills, to show them look i will give you as much as you give to me ... And i can't really say as i blame him !!!

You can never under estimate Brady & the Pats ! I was at the game last year when our Bills were up 28 & after the half it was like what did you do with our guys ? It was like they just quit or something ... Brady started dealing out his yearly ass whipping to our team . I just hope they can use that game & learn from it . Billy cheat & crew are some of if not the best at making half time adjustments & if you can't make adjustments at the half you wind up with a 13 year drought when it comes to the play offs ... I ain't saying but i'm just sayin !!

We had one just the same for 4 days He won the Hiesman it happens all the time & no one can figure it out

Well if you think back that is what Schobel had & he played with it but late in the year i believe he was put on IR or sat out a year & had it operated on so he could get over it . So it could be some thing that could linger & hinder his play this year . But i can't help but think could this be in part that he doesn't want to get hurt while on a franchise tender ? If this gets bad enough could this be a ploy to get put on IR to collect his $6.9 mil & not have to put him self in harms way while in his eyes not earning up to the potential of what he has proven or feels he is worth to a team ??

Um not if the action of bringing in Leonard says anything to the Bills fans ... That sure doesn't look like a vote of confidence in my book !! And Searcy it seems is not a real good future prospect either , i ain't saying but i'm just saying ...

Streeter - Streeter ? Where did this guy come from ?? Alls we have heard about this year is how good our WR corp was & how hard it was going to be come cut time . I know that DaRick has signed with the Colts practice squad but was that before we had a chance at him ? And if we did have a chance at him (and didn't grab him) was he really that bad that we didn't want him on our practice squad to bring him along ? Then there was Brandon Kaughfman, i thought he was a really good prospect (or did he get scooped up by another team) ? I just think that it speaks volumes if Mr. Rogers was not wanted back here if he was there for the taking before the Colts took him ... Please fill me in if i have indeed missed something along the way ... Oh & if this has already been discussed my apology !!!

Why Streeter ??? With what we had this year for WR's , you mean Kaughfman , Rogers weren't worth bringing back to the practice squad ??

Well if Byrd is hurt (or playing hurt) who better knows Pettines D than Leonard & he was a very good player for him , give him a shot !! Ya wasn't that the season we let him go B/C he wasn't good enough to make our roster ??
