What is wrong with this situation ? Robert Craft the owner of one of our biggest rivals (although a very good & ethical owner i believe) has always stood up for what he thinks is right for the franchise & what it stands for which i commend him for ! During the entire Hernandez thing i think every move he has made signals the moves of a very dignified franchise , but he is now getting flack because he doesn't want to pay Hernandez a work out bonus ... Per the article i read , "The NFL players association has filed a grievance to help murder suspect AH collect a $82K work out bonus" of which Mr Kraft has said NO were not paying it !! You go Bob !! There should be a clause in every NFL contract from here on out that says, if a player is involved in ANY illegal doings what ever they may be the contract can & will be suspended with the possibility of being cancelled completely until any & all allegations are cleared up .. Why should any of these teams have to pay for a degenerate, thug type persons actions outside of the facility that brings the integrity of not only the team but the entire NFL down to a sub pare level ? To play in the NFL is a privilege not a right of passage just because you have football skills . And even more to the point what is the NFL PA fighting for this guy to get his money for, if the guy has been indicted apparently there is enough evidence for the indictment so why not just say something like At such a time when & IF AH is found not guilty we will be filing for his pay to be reinstated . I know contracts have certain language in them but you can cut a player for not performing up to the expectations of a coaching staff or organization & not pay them a dime yet a guy is indicted for murder & you go after pay for a WO bonus ??? Plus if they take that road it frees them up from looking like the ass end of a north bound donkey heading south . Lawyers & unions --- well i won't go there but you get it !! Fire away Bills faithful ...

We need to bring back T.O. for a little bit of stability !!

We should grab Asper back & see what if anything he has ... And Heard too , we know what he can do !!

Not any more & we tried to pick him up last year so why not bring him in for a try out too ???

With the Kolb injury we should cut our loses already with him & Should bring in Graham Harrell , they wanted him last year !! With what VY did at green bay doesn't that make Chan & the Bills look even that much more foolish !!!

A while back i remember reading about choosing names for the offense & defense, but i don't remember if there were any names that people had decided on ? And if this was a name already brought up forgive me !! But seeing as we have a quintet of players on the offense with the letter J in their name EJ, CJ, TJ, SJ, FJ Would "The J Train" be appropriate ?? Then seeing as we have Doug Whaley & Doug Marrone we could call them "The 2 Doug Crew" Well hey i'm bored & could have come up with a lot worse !!

Well UM ---- OK ----Uh ---- How Do you - Um --- Well you could have a point there ----- But What about Spiller & Um that other guy ?? Byrd ya he was --- UH well come to think of it he wasn't never mind

I think a lot of the losing could be attributed to the coaches not knowing how to use the players they had on the roster .. Look at what Harbaugh did in SF with almost the same roster that the year prior to him coming didn't make it to the play offs & didn't play very well . I think we have had some really good talent in B/Lo for a while we just haven't had the coaching staff that knew how to utilize the talent they had to the fullest !! Hopefully Marone can use what he has to win !!

Thats what they should have done with Byrd before his deadline , & what they should already be doing with CJ , & what they should have done with A Levetrie, & A. Winfield , & L. Fletcher, &, &, &, & !!! You would think they could learn something from watching how good teams build them selves & realize what mistakes they have made that has kept us in the bad team category for such a long time .. And these are suppose to be highly educated people in these positions . Hopefully Whaley will be the change to all of this B/C he saw how a great winning franchise was ran from the inside !!

Why does it seem that when ever a great player is in a Bills uni the FO (or who ever) decides he isn't worth the money to keep around ?? I was just watching a part of the Redskins preseason game & they where giving props to London Fletcher who as we remember was in a Bills uni what some 10 years ago ? The guy was loved here & we had a relevant Dwhile he was here & he was a surprised that they didn't want to keep him here as the fans ! Then look at what he has done since he left , he could have been doing it in a Bills uni BUT NO !! :wallbash: There is a long line of players that have walked & i understand with FA & the stupid money that teams are willing to pay we can't keep them all & we will more than likely lose some more along the way . But who is in charge of making that final decision on weather or not the players should or shouldn't be kept ? The entire Byrd thing is now the focus of this topic . If we (as if we actually have any say) if the Bills are smart like say a Patriots team would be they would trade a player if not happy here for a high draft pick & at least get something going forward ... I know there has been articles posted here on this subject in the past & forgive me for going there again but our disappointment over the last 13 or so years could have been a lot less if who ever makes such decisions would use their head for something more than a hat rack & keep more of our guys around that actually make a difference !!

Thats because the play offs are going through Buffalo this year !! God has put it all in place, the players , the coach & the fans have always been here !! He has just looked down & said OK the Bills fans have struggled long enough i will have them change the schedule but i will make it up to them in the post season !! Don't worry be happy !! GO BILLS !!!!

Class act all the way on & even more so off the field !! The young guys coming in the league could learn a lot just watching a guy like Chris !! God Bless him !!

We have wasted enough draft picks in the past as it is , a guy shows promise & makes 1 mistake and your ready to s**t can him WOW like you have never made a mistake ??

And if Byrd would S**t or get off the pot that would be great !! And if he holds out trade him for a #1 & a #2 put them all together next year to get Clowney NOW THATS WHAT I'M TALKIN BOUT !!!

They need to increase the roster size for reasons just like this !! After all the time of not having a decent WR corp now we got more than we can keep ! All could be used in this offense & used well !! As coach said there will be some hard decisions that have to be made when it comes down to cut time !! But some teams will benefit from our over stock & i bet a lot of them will go in our division too !! You can bet Bellicheck is sitting back licking his chops & Rex is also waiting to see what he can get to bolster his O ...

Again what happens if Tuel comes in & just lights it up & has the O down & is winning games ? Could this be 1 of 2 scenario's being Johnson / Flutie ??? Bledsoe / Brady ??? I ain't sayin but i'm just saying !!!!

Ya but Can also thought Fitz was the future & went to bat to get him a $59 MILLION contract that the Bills are still paying for , for the next 2 years so what does that tell you ?? HMMMMMMM

If we are going to stumble which we will lets do it with the Rook & get it out of his system just don't pull a Mike Mularkey & pull him every time he plays bad !1 I still think with the tools JP had if he would have had a better coach or coaches teaching him he COULD HAVE been a better QB than what he turned out to be ... And i would hate to see that same thing happen to EJ !!

Well if what Carrington said in his interview is true & that Pettine hasn't put in all of what they have learned to this point this D is going to be freakin way fun to watch this year . And there will be a bunch more coaches whining about what we are doing after the games are over win or lose !!

OK lets just continue on the path we have been going down this year , lets just get rid of all or most of the old guys & let the youth movement be complete top to bottom !! After what we saw yesterday & what we know of Kolbs past CUT HIM , Brad Smith has been a whipping boy on here for a long time because of his contract & lack of proper use CUT HIM , right there we are saving money & that is what a winning team such as the Pats would do.. This one won't get any raved revues but if Fred J doesn't show much & these other young RB's that have been brought in show like the one kid (can't remember his name) did last week then save some more cash & cut or better yet trade Fred again something a proven winner like the Pats have done in the past & will do in the future to have a team that has had 10 + years with 10 wins seasons . Sometimes change sucks & can even hurt a bit like it would to see our beloved RB Freddy J go to another team but if thats what it takes to be a winner then so be it !! I am tired of losing & being the butt end of all conversation that is NFL so LETS GO BILLS take this youth thing & run with it till we can't run no more !!

After what Kolb showed in yesterdays game i would bump Tuel up to see what we really have in him , Kolb already has a resume that is less than flattering ! Add to that if Kolb is cut there is more cap room to use for resigning some one else such as CJ , Carrington, or even later on down the road Byrd . All of the above have to be on the minds of the FO at one Bills drive if they are not them some one need to be shipped out ! We should go with the entire youth movement !!

First off the person you should have given the guff to is Skip not Steven A . He said he was going off of what others had said not what he knows about the guy . he big question is over the years how many of the so called experts have hit on their expert analysis & how many times have they missed in the same respect . I think that we are covered because IF EJ does turn out to not be that guy Tuel is the wild card and he (i ope) continues to show he was worth picking him up where we did . I believe we got a diamond in the rough with that guy !!!

There some things in B/lo this year that could look quite similar to what happened in another AFC east team a decade ago . You all know where i'm going with this . Back in the day a first round pick was chosen to be the face of the franchise (Bledsoe) & as they say the back up QB is just an injury away from being the starter (Brady) just as it happened in NE Oh so long ago . With what we have seen so far i hope that EJ is the guy in B/lo for a long time , but we have a Tuel in the shed that may come in very handy at some point in time this season or in seasons to come you never can tell . Jeff Tuel has shown something in his first pro game & that is that he isn't afraid to chuck the rock down field, which he proved with his 212 yds & 2 TD's last week . This also makes me feel pretty good if we have to look to another QB to carry the team for a while & if the unforeseen should happen that history repeats itself but with another team in the AFC east . I see Kolb as no more than a security blanket, stop gap, Ace in the hole, no matter what you want to call him but i don't see him hanging around for a bunch of years unless he comes on the cheap side of things . How cool would that be for our Bills to have 3 + Super Bowl VICTORIES in the next ten + years ? I don't know about you all but i could dig it !!! Well i don't really see the stars aligning in the same way as they did in New England but there are some similarities . I am just way hyped about this season & anticipate a above average season for our Bills !! OK have at it cut me up in typical Bills fans fashion . Hey i can have a dream can't i ???

Wow i never thought i would here this but i did on the NFL network Warren Sapp is giving some love to our Bills . Usually we r the butt end of his discussions . Just a bit earlier he was getting on Jairus Byrd for not showing up at camp (which i even kind of liked that) If you didn't get a chance to check it out yet DO he was giving EJ , CJ , & Goodwin a bit of love in the high light section . I hope that the direction of the team can turn some of the other so called experts opinions around to give us a bit more love instead of always being the team they put down in their commentary . GO BILLS !!!!
