Don't be surprised if Josh Allen has a bumpy 2022
T master replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they do bring in a new OC other than Dorsey i would think that Josh having a down season might be a good possibility because the offensive scheme could be totally different which is 1 reason why i wouldn't mind seeing Dorsey take over because he knows the verbiage & could keep some things the same while implementing change at the same time . -
Giants cap situation and potential trade options
T master replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they could trade Star for Williams that might be good if they could get him for less total money on the cap he seems to be a bit of a upgrade but if that would come at the cost of losing Harry or someone else i'd rather not do that . -
Well i guess they are trying to go with that name because of the city & the people in charge there but i bet there are a lot of other names they could come up with if that is the premise & commanders isn't the first on that comes to mind . 🤔

OL coach Bobby Johnson headed to NY, has signed contract
T master replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well 1 down i would love to see a Bills o line coach of the past come back because when he was here the O line was very good . Aaron Kromer i thought was a very good coach even though he did have that scuffle when he was here our O line sure did a good job blocking . Where is he now i would think someone like him doesn't sit around long if a team is in need of a good O line coach . -
Anything that i have read is that Beane is looking to promote someone from with in the organization which i for one am hoping its Dorsey . He is younger & has had a good history with in different offenses and has a good relationship with Josh and although he may bring some change to the offensive scheme he knows the verbiage & can keep some semblance of familiarity to it which will help in the transition . I think it's Dorsey's time i hope Beane does too .

Totally agree I watched the same play review that asked why didn't Obada hit Kelsey & drive him out to Levi which made perfect sense we will never know who exactly didn't do what they were suppose to but that 1 play could have changed the entire post season for the Bills .

I don't know that getting Gronk would be a good thing other than him being a home town guy that his family & friends could root for because he did try to hurt Tre in that game would there be any angst between them i'm thinking there could be . Then the fact that it could take reps away from Knx & that wouldn't be worth a 1 yr hoo rah type contract & that money to bring him here might be used better else where .

Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)
T master replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just don't think WR is a position that you draft a player in the first round that's just me . Hodgins was thought to be a good get & possibly better than Davis when drafted & really hasn't had much of a chance to develop due to injury, covid, & who he had to compete against for playing time . Being a 6th rounder to me does't mean a lot Davis was a 5th round pick then there are players like Brady so you never know what he might be able to do if given a full off season & health to get time with Josh . Yes Beasley is getting older but i think still has some gas in the tank and it could be a plus during the transition to a new OC, Kumero well yes he is a ST player but there may be something there if Rogers wanted him & he too hasn't been able to get on the field because of others . I think Beane will do his thing & make the most of his picks & FA with the Saints having to have a fire sale due to the cap & other players becoming FA i'm sure he will fill the WR room with people that Josh can go to . -
Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)
T master replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can't argue that i did here him say that too & it did make me stop & think for a minute what he might mean by saying that but personally i think his down turn in production was more because Sanders was here & they were giving him more reps at 1 point than Bease so i just think if given the same amount of playing time Bease could still do very well with Josh pulling the trigger . -
Offseason Trade Prediction: We acquire Saquan
T master replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think you keep Cole he is still a good player and i'm not sure of his cap hit but i believe especially with a new OC coming in you want guys that Josh has a good chemistry with during the transition into a new scheme . I would rather see them package Moss & Cody Ford neither of them have proven IMO that they are anything but a depth player and with both of them knowing Dabol that may help NY sooner rather than later. I don't see Beane keeping Ford around after his rookie deal runs out so get something for him while you can & i have never really been a fan of the Moss pick and moving forward we still have 2 players that yo know will contribute in this offense with who ever they bring in as the new OC ... -
Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)
T master replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Diggs, Davis, Kumero, Beasley, Hodgins, Stevenson, yes i wouldn't mind getting one in the draft but not in the first round and the fact that seeing as he blew out his knee i'm thinking that he may fall so why not wait a bit and fortify other spots if you could get him in a better spot ? I'm not sure why you think Beasley is a candidate to get cut Beane said in his presser that Bease is still playing at a high level & his numbers this year were close to what they were last year & he has 1 more year on his contract i believe . So with the cap being what it is i don't see them cutting a good player just because & have what ever the amount of dead money on the cap . Plus knowing Beane he will probably find a FA or 2 that would come here because of Josh . I think Mckenzie is gone for sure but i don't think Beasley is going anywhere but that's just me . -
I should be getting ready to go to the stadium right now
T master replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Suck it up buttercup we're all there with you all over the US it sucks for sure ! I'm still not sure who i want to root for though . I would like to see the Bengals beat the Chiefs but if they do win then there isn't the chance of the Chiefs having the supreme disappointment of losing another SB and i want them to feel as much pain as we Bills fans feel . Also we could have a rematch next year & whoop them so it would be a double whammy in the hurt department ... -
With Allen, can the Bills de-emphasize skill positions?
T master replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
No remember when Brady had Randy Moss on the team that's the kind of offense i want in Buffalo that way Josh could score at will & take no prisoners ! -
Lets hope it doesn't get to that point i'm not a fan of completely changing schemes & more than likely with a new OC he will want all his guys so there would also be a bunch of turn over in the offensive coaching staff so i hope Beane gets this done soon so Dorcey doesn't get away because i think he has 2 shots at being a OC here & NY & i don't want Dabol to get him ...

Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)

Sorry but i disagree with this pick that position is 1 of strength and there are others that need a lot more than that one i hope they don't go that route !! -
McDermott's first Offensive Coordinator hire back in 2017
T master replied to Bag of Milk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well given the fact that the Bills GM will have some say in the decision i will feel good about the choice but the choices given in this article doesn't really excite me i would much rather just give it to Dorsey i think it's his time !! https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2022/1/24/22899609/5-replacement-options-for-bills-offensive-coordinator-brian-daboll-ken-dorsey -
Do you really want a rookie Offensive Coordinator ?
T master replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well here's a list compiled of who could be the replacement for Dabol & i'm sticking with my pick Dorsey because the rest although have a bunch of experience haven't personally shown me anything that i would be jumping up & down to get them !! https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2022/1/24/22899609/5-replacement-options-for-bills-offensive-coordinator-brian-daboll-ken-dorsey -
Well if they were to bring in Rogers for a final hoorah you never know 🤔... Not sure he would leave GB but given what the Bucs have & what GB will be losing in FA it's a thought . Then there is Mitch he may get a shot somewhere like Tampa which could keep them respectable with the weapons they have . Maybe Tom just woke up & couldn't find his Metamucil but until we see Tom say it i won't believe it .

I think there is more than just 1 position so i didn't vote but RB is 1 OL still needs a piece maybe 2 but they may have them on the team i think LB is another position of need ! I'm just no sure that Edmunds is playing in the right position he didn't play MLB in college & i think has to think to much & can't rely on his instincts because of having to think for the entire D alignment . He given his athleticism might be better covering Kelsey or the TE and get a true MLB & let him just play rather than think . Then of course given what ever happens this year with the CB position who stays who goes there will probably need depth there. WR is a place of strength but i think there will be some holes to fill to sure if someone flashes some cash Mckenzie he's gone but Hodgins waiting then who ever is in the draft .

Do you really want a rookie Offensive Coordinator ?
T master replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm glad you weren't in on the meetings to choose a HC if so we may have a Fangio or Culley i said that because you don't know what a rookie OC can bring to a team there may be a entire new look or way of going about certain situations . Lokk at what Matt Lafluer brought to Green Bay then there is Zac Taylor for the Bengals & our own McD all of them were rookie HC's & they have had their teams playing at championship levels . I believe that given what Dorcey has been through in his career doing what he did on the field then moving to his place & situations on Carolina going to the lay offs and now being behind Dabol for 2 seasons and not only learning by watching Dabol but also continuing to develop with Josh . He's called plays on the field and on the sidelines if we don't think that he did;t have any input on some of the play calls and what Josh needed to look for in this situation in game and did nothing but told Josh how to throw the ball i think we are trying to fool our self . So what OC out there can beyond a shadow of a doubt if hired can guarantee they will bring a SB to Buffalo none of them can sure experience speaks volumes but neither McD or Beane had been in their respective positions until they came here & they have turned this franchise around completely Oh by the way neither did Marv . So i'm hoping that Dorsey gets his chance he could be just a piece of the puzzle we won't know & if he isn't given the chance we will never know i will leave that to Beane & McD to decide . -
I believe that will be the biggest reason he won't come back MONEY which is what the NFL is all about . I don't think Sanders will be back i would like to see McKenzie come back if they could take some of the money they gave Sanders but i think Mac will go for lot more so i think he's gone ! But Beane does his thing every year & finds those guys to fill the gaps but if Mckenzie puts himself out there & doesn't consider coming back i think Bill will pay him like he has done in the past with a couple of other good Bills players .
-
I believe he is i just hope the coaching staff sees it ! Moss on the other hand i think needs to be trade bait maybe he can go to NY with Dabol but i never did like or understand the pick him & Motor are the same size and no real outstanding differences . He may be more of a north south type but he's not big enough IMHO for that role in the NFL the Bills need a bigger back to put in that role on this offense & Moss is not it I wish that Williams would have gotten a chance but now we will never know what he could have done here .

Ken Dorsey - would he choose OC here or leave to be Daboll's OC?
T master replied to Heavy Kevi's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well Dabol has taken the NY Giants job so we will find out very soon but i hope Dorcey stays here to keep the continuity and at the most the basic part of the scheme in place . I'm not saying Josh couldn't learn a new scheme but i think he & the offense would be better off if they didn't have to completely start all over from the bottom & some of the tweaks that Dorcey could make may be just enough to put them over the hump ...
