Well seeing as they drafted a guy out of college that was a slot guy and highly touted as such but kept him mostly inactive even when others didn't prove their worth in Hodgins i hope they don't do the same with Shakir . He was suppose to be the steal of the draft & other teams were pissed because the Bills got him so i hope they at least use him . Given the cap if it were me i would cut Mckenzie sure he's fast & once a game you can get a really good catch out of him but after that not much so i would bring back Beasely as a veteran on a smaller contract to work with Shakir for 1 last season he is a good team mate & when he was cut (for reasons other than his production) he was responsible for some 90 receptions & north of 800 yds a season . The money saved by cutting McKenzie would be enough to cover the low cost of Bease plus a little extra to bring in another rookie UDFA & if Bease doesn't cut it then cut him nothing ventured nothing gained but we know Josh has a chemistry with Bease so that can't hurt if every one would get over the other stuff !! But why look at another slot guy until we use the one they have more than a inactive roster spot ?

I have wondered for a while now why they don't build a few US military bases on the southern border & then they can conduct their tank shelling practice & bombing raids on the American side of the border which after seeing the explosions would likely deter many from trying to come across . At night the military could patrol the border and send those back that come across it would do 2 things keep the money for military bases here along with the training of the troops rather than building military bases in foreign countries then when we leave give them away to terrorists . And it would keep the amount of illegals from coming freely across the border . That's called a twofer !! Plus then we could know the tax payers money was going to good use . I just always liked Jerry & thought he was actually playing good but there wasn't any body else to really worry about but with him on one side & Von on the other it could be like when he played opposite Mario . A second & a third i think Beane would take it but the last time we traded down to 27 was the year the Chief's traded with us & they got Mahomes we got Tre but he don't score many points . If Robinson is there at 27 he is just 1 more weapon for teams to worry about & for those that don't believe a running back is worth the pick i would argue that if the Jets would have had Breece Hall last year the Bills wouldn't have won that second game because there are some running backs that are still worth the roster spot . Robinson is suppose to be a "generational talent" not seen since Saquan came out so if you can get a talent like that on a cheap contract for 4 to 5 years than get him, win a Super Bowl & let him go at the end of the cheap contract .
