Just dropped 35 pounds and sure enough, my "back in the day" zubaz fit. I found them after my wife buried them in a box in the attic along with my beat up SU sweatshirt. I was looking for stupid halloween crap when I just happened to stumble upon them. Now I can show her that once again, I'm in style and $40 to the good. This is what she gets for keeping stupid halloween stuff, a sweet turn of events!

I gotta agree. The game was in his hands and didn't get it done. He's going to do that every now and again. The game also brought it ever more into focus our need for better CBs. Guess DJ wasn't all wrong.

I posted similar positive thoughts on the Buddy and Chan's hiring and was met with scorn and ridicule, not just from TBD but from my family! I was reminded of my Pollyanna feelings after each of the first 8 games last year. I just said, like it or not, these guys have a plan and they are sticking to it. I suspect we'll have a few more setbacks but stick with the plan. Chan and Buddy have proven that they know talent and they know football. I don't rub it in to the naysayers. We need everyone onboard for this ride! Go Bills!

Yeah, especially helping out in coverage when Cincy's rookie QB connected on every pass in the second half.....not to mention the pressure he got on the kid.....not so much.

Chan probably had a reasonable expectation that our defense would not puke up yards in bunches to a rook QB. He probably thought we would tackle on runs and not give up 10-15 yards every pass. He likely thought that McLuvin may actually win just one jump ball. Maybe he thought we could now cover a TE. So far we have made Dalton and Campbell look like Brady and made Brady look average....I can't figure it.

The Bills D is ranked 27th in the league. Below us are Green Bay, New England, Oakland, Chicago. Good teams are giving up gobs of yards this year. What's different for us is we are giving up passing yards becuase our Run D is better (wouldn't know yesterday) but it is. A better run D is exposing our weak secondary. Many think we need LB's and we do, but frankly, unless we find a quality replacement for McKelvin, we need a CB. Let's hope the rook steps up. Now you all may want to jump on me but, we gave KW a big-ass contract and so far, he's been a non-factor. I figured with teams keying on Dareus, KW would be all-world. Hasn't happened. Where's KW?

If Merriman is only in for 60% of the D snaps, play Moats the other 40%. I think they are shieldling some sort of injury from Merriman. He still plays tentitive. That said, I saw at least two flagrant holds on Merriman that went uncalled. One of them was virtually a horse collar hold. He gets held regularly with no calls.

Since when does "our secondary sucks" and "we still can't stop the run" and our "O'line is suspect" qualify for excuses? The officiating was brutal and Merriman continues to be held w/no call frequently, but that's not why we lost. All that said, we lost on a last second field goal so what the Hell is OP's premise? On another thread there's audio of Buddy on a SD radio station. Listen to what he says about Shawne. I think he's been a huge upgrade over what we had last year and will find his old game once again. So relax and enjoy the ride.
