  1. Marrone may have adopted that game plan after benching EJ because that's what we gotta do -- like it or not. A debate for another day. We just beat Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers. Damn......
  2. Hate to see that. Fitzy has guts and he was going for extra yards -- like he does. He's tough an competitive. That said, Orton may be a slew foot and slides instead of dives, but he's still vertical and playing. I guess I admire Fitz's guts but would rather have my QB playing the following week than pick up another yard or two.
  3. Mario has had one hellova year. The guy does it all and does it with out all the "look at me" crap. Amazing game again. Have to agree with the OP's choices. Also gotta give Whaley some props. Two "who?" players he picks up turns the game around for us. The guy keeps working on improving. Now get us a damn QB! Edit: Good point on Fred. We don't win without him
  4. Ha! Then in 8 years we will sign him after he learns to play ala Flutie!
  5. Marrone gets nine wins, he stays. He may opt to go if they force him to lose Hackett - who does need to go. A key 3rd and 5 to win the game and he empties the backfield. Granted a guy was open but that sums up Nathaniel Hackett. He draws up plays as abstract plans that could work with excellent players instead of drawing up plays that the players he has can execute.
  6. Well, the little loud mouth got B'slapped in a big way. Now let's see how he reacts. If he grows from it and learns than good for him. If we continues the arrogance, well he's a short timer in this league.
  7. Tired of weighing in on Orton/EJ threads. Orton is better, but he is no way good enough. Another bad game. No question, we have a better QB we be 10 and 4 right now. But hey...we just beat the freakin' Packers! Going to kick back and enjoy this for awhile before wringing my hands over Orton.
  8. I just hope Brady plays and we knock him out of the game. Just sayin.....
  9. Kinda wish we would have went with Nassib and let him sit and learn. I know that was the plan with EJ, but I think Nassib is going to develop. Hindsight... With the group the OP posted, I gotta go with Bradford an keep Orton because with Bradford starting, you will need good back up.
  10. Not a shabby division to win out. Go figure.
  11. Overheard on the field: Rambo to Rodgers: " In Wisconsin, you're the law, out here it's me. Don't push it! Don't push it or I'll give you a war you won't believe. Let it go. Let it go"
  12. This "lucky" defense just embarrassed two of the top three QB's in the league the past two weeks. One more to go.
  13. Liked Fitz, but when the game was on the line, he'd turn it over one way or another. Is what it is.
  14. Orton>Fitz>everyone else we can get. Fixed.
  15. Maybe his eyes are less slow now.....
  16. Time spits in the face of training. Your joints loosen up in your late 30's, tendons wear & tear and endurance will catch up with Marsha. Maybe the refs will start more intense enforcing of the unspoken "no touch Brady" rule.
  17. 5,000. Impressive. If the US side of TBD posted from Canada there'd only be a handful as the Sundowner doesn't have wi-fi.
  18. The Prime Directive.
  19. This is right. And I'd be happy with it.
  20. Whisky Tango Foxtrot....is this Kellen Winslow Jr.?
  21. Actually the mods have been a little better about this of late. Finding an article in 20 pages of posts is nie on impossible - particularly if you use a mobile device like many of us do. I don't like redundant threads because no one bothered to do a search (like the recent Sam Bradford thread merge) but I do appreciate a monster thread lije the DT thread to be allowed a spin-off thread like this one.
  22. Ahh, incremental equation. Bradford > Orton > EJ Maybe in another decade or so we're there!
  23. You dish it out then you have to expect some back. You were the one who called my priorities into question in an open forum because I donated. Judge not lest ye be judged.
  24. I truly believe that given this qb situation, tbere is only so much you can reasonably expect. That said, Hackett is like the Dave Wannstedt of OC's. A change to a competent OC who knows how to use the talent he has at hand, and not scheme as if all his players were equal in talent, would have this team in the playoffs. It would be like going from Wannstedt to Pettine.
