  1. yea honestly I think the bills are trying to solidify one side of the ball this year completely (long term as well) before attacking the offense next year. Not to say they won't but I mean it seems we were never even intending on doing that his year. I don't think Nix for whatever reason wanted Floyd. I personally really liked him but it is what it is and I for one am happy that were going with the BPA approach it makes our drafts a lot more understandable. I think Buddy wants a burner with our wideout so you can rule out Jeffrey. If Hill or Randle is there look for him to be the pick. If not whomever they have rated higher between david, glenn, martin, or adams.
  2. Id prefer Martin to Glenn, I think long term he can be a decent starter at lt just not now. If I had my choice of all the players I would choose Randle, Hill, Martin, David, Glenn. I think Randles skill set is too much to pass up. If he has a Q.B he's a surefire first rounder. I do agree that David would instantly at least in my biased opinion make us have a top 7 defense. Martin would provide excellent depth at both tackle positions while Randle or Hill (would take more time but has excellent hands and speed which you can't coach) would immediately start opposite stevie.
  3. do you have a source inside the organization?
  4. horrible idea in very way shape or form if your going to get someone, get wallace.
  5. I would just rather either move up and take kalil, or take gilmore/kuechly/floyd. Its not worth to take a safety that high when we can take an impact player of need. Not saying we couldn't upgrade safety but it would be a better allocation of resources otherwise.
  6. i prefer floyd to anyone else in this class. I think he can be a superstar and pro bowl regular.
  7. Ive been thinking a lot about the shrinking possibility of getting Michael Floyd so I have spent some time researching the other receivers in this draft. I think that a lot of people are under the assumption that we can get a starter in the 3rd or 4th round but I am not one of those. So anyways after looking at tape of Floyd, Blackmon, Wright, Hill, Jeffrey, Quick, Sanu, and Givens I wasn't really crazy about the prospects that were projected to be late 1sts early 2nd round picks either for our offense or skill. Randle was different. He really stuck out compared to the other players in terms of not only ceiling but ability to play out of the gate. I really think that he could come in much like floyd and day one be our #2. Not only that but he has the ability unlike most receivers to be a stud and potential #2. He's fast, has good hands, and runs good routes. He actually reminds me a lot of Floyd but has worse qb play and better competition. I still prefer Floyd to him but I actually think this draft could pay off even more then taking floyd in the 1st. So anyway heres what I propose. At 10 either take Kuechly or Gilmore: Fills an immediate need on defense and both can start immediately. Trade picks 41 and 105 for the pick 33 (Colts 2nd rounder) and draft Reuben Randle. 3rd: Draft either position we didnt fill in the 1st or Best tackle available. 4th: Draft whatever we didnt get. 5th: Nick Foles or Ryan Lindley-both have excellent tools and have steadily improved. Good size and will be good projects for Lee. 5th: Tackle or Corner Depth 6-7th B.P.A
  8. Agreed Metz a corner is a clear indication that were losing McGee and McKelvin and we need another starter
  9. Still wouldn't mind taking tannehill at 10. I think he has everything he needs to succeed and he just needs time which he will get with us
  10. yea buddy is a tricky bastard. when you have mckelvin in the last year of his deal he's going to want to play.
  11. thats pretty interesting. It does go to show that mockers don't know as much as scouts do. I still have floyd kuechly as my top 2 that hasn't really changed.
  12. 1: Ryan Tannehill: Miami 2: Michael Floyd: Cardinals 3: Courtney Upshaw: Bengals 4: David DeCastro: Chargers 5: Luke Kuechly: Carolina
  13. Its a 40% hit rate for the first round I don't know if you were reading what I was reading.
  14. If they lower the price for PS3 i might jump in for now the hd sling box seems to do me fine so long as there are no blackouts.
  15. According to research from ESPN Florida's Charlie Bernstein, only 40 percent (18 of 45) wide receivers drafted in the first round from 2000-2010 have panned out. One ray of light is that seven of the past eight first-round receivers have been solid. Bernstein finds that second-round receivers have a 22.4 percent (11 of 49) hit rate while those drafted in the third round succeed at just 15 percent (8 of 55). Of the 215 receivers drafted from Rounds 4-7, only 14 (6.5 percent) have emerged as solid contributors. Not trying to not believe in our F.O but if we want an impact wideout week one I have a feeling its Floyd or bust. Just my opinion. Still think it'll be Kuechly.
  16. I completely agree I felt the same way. Every answer felt either reversed or just retarded. I didnt like him before but I definitely don't like him now.
  17. Agreed just because the w.r class is deep doesn't mean its deep with number one wideouts. 4-3 outside backers aren't as valuable of a position so we will be able to get good value elsewhere.
  18. I'm starting to think its him more and more. He's a top 2 choice for me between him and Floyd so it's cool with me.
  19. I just think its gonna be kuechly, fills a need, probably will be or is one of the BPA, and will solidify the front 7.
  20. I gotta tell you the more of Whaley I see, the more I'm impressed. I think Buddy really has given us a long term success plan.
  21. I wish d.es could wear single digits he would look sweet with a single
  22. I really hope they consider floyd I just want a legit #2 for once. 2 good wideouts will give us a really good shot at weeping the jets.
  23. Love how everyone proceeds to jump the floyd bandwagon now. He had his problems he's been great since. To me I will truly be disappointed with any other pick at 10. He fills a major need, he's a great player/value, and he could really give us quality depth at w.r
