  1. Kalil is a damn good prospect and would set us for 10 years... do it.
  2. I really like the post all around, I just don't see the value with Glenn at 10 whereas with Floyd it's obvious. We have had success with mid to late tackle prospects in the past and I don't really have much reason to doubt it now. Maybe taking one less lb and keeping moats would be a good idea but like everyone else, "I'd be doing backflips with this draft" for sure
  3. Other then being overly optimistic with mcnutt I thought it was pretty good, I can see us drafting another tackle late and stashing him on the ps. I also dont think we will cut white choices tires are falling off and I think white will be good insurance bare minimum. Also don't know about the corners but good post someone has to make the tough calls you did a pretty food job
  4. kirkpatrick is an nfl safety. Yes he does well in zone and can tackle but he's awful in man and could never be left on an island... pass
  5. And after looking at Glenn more, most have him pegged as a guard in the nfl..:
  6. I didn't know everyone was so on Glenn, that being said good post. I still want Floyd decastro kuechly though, Glenn is a reach at 10
  7. if we took him before one of are 4th round picks id be furious, I don't know how the person who posted that video can think he's good when he attempted about 2 passes longer then 12 yards the whole game. Pass. Id way rather have lindley then him.
  8. wouldn't mind it if he falls because I feel that our pick would become that much more valuable.
  9. Osweiler is more of a 4th rounder in my book i have lindley higher then him and he's projected 4
  10. spiller, jackson is 31 which is about the equivalent of 36-37 got most other positions. He has at most 1 maybe 2 more seasons of high level play. I love the guy and really love what he was able to do last year but he's just not going to be good for much longer.
  11. i feel like 10-6 is a little more attainable, arizona is very tough at home and the seahawks are very underrated. Also we haven't been able to consistently beat miami in awhile. our schedule certainly doesn't look at scary as last years thats for sure.
  12. martin and reiff aren't the lts everyone is claiming them to be, there is only one true day one lt in this draft and thats kalil. Just watch USC games this guy is literally incredible. If we trade up for him and don't give up the boat I will be pretty happy, if we don't get him I would rather us take floyd or kuechly, none of the other tackles are worth a top 10 selection, reiff is a guard and at best a rt and martin is probably a rt as well.
  13. please tell me this guy isn't serious? the big winners of Free agency? you didnt even sign that virgin you traded for him. Yea were all pretty rattled as you can see by all the threads talking about how scared of the jets we are were shaking in our boots
  14. I disagree with that guys analysis, martin doesn't look the part and certainly isn't worth a top 10 selection nor do I believe that reiff is. I think its gotta be floyd, kuechly, or somehow having someone fall that we don't anticipate. That being said I agree with his analysis of the corners.
  15. Yea I think its increasingly coming down to floyd, kuechly, and thats it, unless someone we don't think will fall falls. I never liked martin especially after watching tape. Kalil is incredible but we don't have a chance in hell at him. It would be nice to literally have a franchise left tackle for 12 years though but no thanks to martin.
  16. Ive said it in a couple threads but I think its important for everyone to understand. Dre Kirkpatrick CANNOT be our pick at 10. I watched every single snap of him from this year. He is great in zone don't get me wrong but he is an NFL safety and I don't have a doubt in my mind. He consistently gets beat in man and just straight up abused in one on one and the read zone. He is stout against the run and short passes in zone but that isn't what we want at 10. We want someone who's going to go after the other teams 1. That being said: If Clairborne somehow slips he's the pick if not. Floyd, Kuechly in that order, noone else warrants the top 10 selection based on needs or talent.
  17. Haha I agree I like just talking about the draft at this time.
  18. Note First Selection in each round is what I favor. 1st Round: Michael Floyd, Luke Kuechly, or Jonathan Martin (In that order) If clairborne somehow falls him first. 2nd Round: Zach Brown OLB N.C (If we don't get Kuechly), Stephon Gilmore C.B (might go earlier), Zebrie Sander O.T (Good pass blocker) 3rd Round: Marcel Jones OT Nebraska, Tommy Streeter Miami (raw but has tons of potential)/Brian Quick W.R App St./ 4th Round:Asa Jackson CB Cal Poly, Terrel Manning OLB N.C State, 4th Round: Ryan Lindley San Diego State Q.B-Could be good fit has all the talent just needs the teaching 5th-7th depth preferably C.Bs, OL, OLB, T.E, In that order. If they see a wide receiver in the 7th they like thats cool too.
