  1. Great resign, doesn't have much value elsewhere but certainly does here especially when it comes to covering tightends and his ability to be a hybrid.
  2. I wanna get him signed today get him in a situational role and scare the **** out of qbs.
  3. For anyone who is still interested in tannehill, I broke down most of his games from last year (from good opponents) and came up with pros and cons and also whether I think he'd fit the Bills. The Good: Excellent throws outside the numbers Great speed in and out of the pocket Excellent ability to throw on the run especially on the right side Good awareness of yardage markers (knows how much he needs to get to the 1st down) Excellent short-mid range vision and accuracy (0-25yds) Good progression through his receivers Excellent throws between the hash marks (over the middle) at all distances. Good size Great Arm Strength and ball speed, really is able to fit the ball into tight windows Great improvisation/ Has ability to hold ball when taking hits (doesn't fumble a lot)/Difficult to sack Excellent with red-zone reads, accuracy, and overall decision making. The Bad Has difficulty stepping up in the pocket Seems to favor the right side when throwing Can try to thread the needle too much. Struggles to lead on vertical deep routes of over 25 yards outside the hash marks. In addition seems to under throw deep balls in general, arm strength is there though (more than fitz) Injury concerns?-Played wideout, seems fairly tough so doesn't bother me. New to position throws low on hitches and curls Overall if he somehow does fall to us (between Miami and Cleveland I don't see it as likely but you never know) I would probably want the bills to take him with the 10th pick. If we sign Anderson I really think offense is the pick. I don't like any tackles besides Kalil and besides Tannehill am only really high on Floyd at 10. I think he would be a great fit for our offense. We run a lot of quick routes and he has tons of zip to get the ball at all aspects of the field quickly and efficiently. Like Fitz he's tough to take down and extends the play with his feet. Almost all of his problems are fixable and his talent is off the charts. If I had to compare him to an NFL player I would probably say Jay Cutler. He may be what gets us to the next level.
  4. I just think w.r is more of a need then everyone thinks, just because we have 9 on the roster doesn't mean we have a real number 2 behind stevie, just a bunch of mediocre guys, an injury prone with unknown but still lots of potential (easley) and a 3rd rounder from a few years back with bad hands but a big body (hagan)
  5. I don't think that is true, if it is id be ecstatic and wed really be able to rush the passer, if not oh well.
  6. I still see us drafting a w.r either the first or trading up early second round. The F.O knows at this moment we don't have a number 2 on the roster and they are going to address it.
  7. Id like to pick up Lawson for depth and then hopefully draft a 4-3 outside backer in the 2nd or 3rd round
  8. Our ravens 4th and Ill be more then fine with it. Anything more ill be upset.
  9. Nix's resume is very impressive. I think he likes the stereotype of a hick because he knows its not true and people underrate him. He being a real gm has been a huge reason why this franchise has truly turned itself around.
  10. reiff had an awful pro day today and is being projected as a guard.... pass
  11. floyd is going to be good year one, we just need to get him.
  12. I think were close, but until we can get a true number 2 receiver, consistent qb play, and a solid cb to shut down or at least limit number ones, were not going to make a ton of noise.
  13. I don't want to offer roscoe anything its not worth it. He isn't as good on punt returns as he used too and never was more then a slot receiver which we possess in nelson. No thanks. I forgot about aiken as well, He has a ton of potential to be a number 2 Are we going to also imply that smith will be cut or that since he's the 3rd qb he won't count as a w.r?
  14. ]Definitely don't think roosevelt is a sure shot. The staff loves jones and easley.
  15. yea i think as of right now, roosevelt is the odd man out. I see our receiving core looking like Stevie, (Hopefully Floyd), Nelson, Jones, Hagan, Easley. The only problem with those 6 is none of them play special teams if we do get floyd suddenly we seem flush with receiving depth.
  16. Whitehurst never had the qualifications flynn did. Not saying he will be a stud, but this is a much better move then whitehurst was.
  17. I actually don't like blackmon all that much, I think he's good but I think floyd's game translates better to the pros and also for our team.
  18. michael floyd, couples is to questionable imo and im scared away after maybin couples is bigger though..
  19. yea i don't mind tannehill and all but the aspect of trading up for him I am severely against.
  20. I disagree, I think there are 3 maybe 4 elite prospects after that there is red flags everywhere for guys like jeffries and randle. Jeffries literally is a hardy clone. I think LBS/D.Es are deep this class and offense as a whole is spotty. If Reiff or Clairborne falls to us at 10 though, there my guys. Otherwise I would like Floyd or trade down.
  21. Whose we? What board is that on, I'm actually curious thats all. I personally think were in a tough spot at 10 and would be really happy with trading down and maybe picking up an extra 3rd. That way we don't have to reach for any of our guys. I don't see floyd being taken that high but of all the positions besides qb, wide receivers have the biggest tendencies to be taken way earlier then expected (see ted ginn/darius heyward bay) If we can't trade down and Reiff is there, I take him. If reiff isn't there then I would take a long hard look at floyd, and I think that would be my pick. My preference is certainly to trade down though. I think Kuechly is very counterproductive. Also in the draftek mock he has tannehill going in the second, He probably won't get passed 6.
