  1. If we didnt Trade Sammy we dont have Gaines, and checking the record of this team with vs without Gaines is impressive...so yes, in this case I dont care about not having Sammy Dareus trade was a waste considering we could have done the same thing at the end of the year and saved money, but maybe we was cancerous in the locker room, I cannot answer that one My comment was regarding your comment about Mike "Culture" Tolbert and why some players who arent really contributing on the field are still on the team. I trust McD's vision 100%....yes he inherited a 9 win team, and then gutted it and stocked up for the future with draft picks while still taking this team to the playoffs (with a limited QB). Color me impressed
  2. flip side; maybe the Bills arent even sniffing the playoffs if players werent kept around to build the right culture
  3. agree with this, but with that said, I kind of hope the FO realizes the plan has changed because we "won ourselves out of a top QB". I think I would prefer to stay put and use those picks to upgrade the entire team, INCLUDING QB if they like a guy. If they like Rudolph (I don't) and hes still on the board then take him with one of those picks. If they like a guy who is falling, then use resources to take that guy. I dont see us trading up to take one of the top two QBs because the cost will just be too much Build this team through draft and FA at all positions, including QB
  4. if either teams goes up by two scores, the game is likely over in favor of that team...both offenses are the same, good running teams, ball control, iffy QB play...big difference is ours doesnt make TOs both teams have reason to worry / be nervous and also be excited / confident
  5. If i get tickets on the re-release this afternoon, really thinking of making the 15plus hour drive from Buffalo...3 out of the 4 of my season ticket group is in, just one straggler who hates the car (its a female).... mannnnn this is going to make for oneeeee lonnnngggg weekend!
  6. Dilly Dilly not worried about their passing offense or Blake Bortles, you could put Julio Jones on the team and im still not worried (well..ok...maybe a little bit then) If they beat us it will be because of the running game pounding us into submission
  7. no high ankle sprain IS HUGE news....I bet thats what McDermott was talking about on Monday morning when he said "we got good news this morning" this is really good news, doesn't guarantee he plays Sunday, but its still really good news
  8. I would like to talk some football instead of attendance.. Reasons for Bills fans optimism: - the Jags got to play the texans twice (neither time with Watson), the Colts twice, a mediocre Titans team twice, The Browns, The Ravens (who never got off the plane in London, and also really aren't a good team), the 49ers (who lit the Jags up), The Jets, The Cardinals and the Bucs...you guys def. have some defensive talent BUT you SHOULD be ranked as the best D in the NFL with that schedule. We havent had the hardest schedule either, and thats why we are in the playoffs...we just recognize it, where as it seems you do not - your offense is not good. Yes you led the NFL in rushing yards, thats cool...thats what you SHOULD do when you have a cupcake schedule, a good running game and a ball control offensive mindset. Who is a playmaker for you outside of Fournette? They are all hurt - your line is a little banged up and not really that good (you say we have a bottom tier O-line??? right side has been shaky but getting better...I would take our o-line over yours in a heartbeat though) - Blake Bortles is your QB, and while he COULD show up as the Blake Bortles who had like four good weeks this season, his track record says he will probably melt down and cough up a couple turnovers I am by no means saying the Bills will win this game, or even saying the Bills have a good team. I am just sharing our fan bases reasons for optimism. Better team will win on Sunday.
  9. that should be good news for us...if I am the Patriots I would rather face the Bills
  10. no she was reading it off of the Andy and Jordan Dalton foundation website itself, not twitter from any source, but it was right on their actual website
  11. hmmm weird, my wife read me something from their website on Monday night that had information about what the Bills fans were doing to raise money because of Dalton's pass...
  12. yea if Erik Kramer can light up the Cowboys D in 91, why can't Tyrod do it in '18 to the Jaguars!!??? I like your thinking guy
  13. Couldn't the same 'film study critique' be used against Jax too? They didn't expect to see us so they may not be ready for the offensive juggernaut that is the Buffalo Bills?
  14. well Dareus is a back up/rotational player, so while I would expect to see some of what you describe, and he might be more motivated to play against us...he is about the fifth person I am worried about on that defense at best...
  15. Teams have caught on and are stunting the middle differently or not at all to maintain gap integrity, ie. Make sure there isnt anywhere for TT to escape, "make him be a QB"... that said, there have been plenty of times this year the pass pro HAS held up, or has created lanes for TT to get through. We need to hope for more of that this week if we want to win.
  16. I blamed game plan more than anything for that...gotta get TT out of the pocket and on the run BEFORE it collapses. Design to beat their pass rush
  17. dont get your hopes up Buddy, I think McD will play it super close to the vest even if he knows right now from the med staff that Shady will play. Guessing he will be a labelled questionable all week and probably not practice much, if at all
  18. all Bills fans want the franchise QB to happen buddy, all of us most of us also wanted the playoffs to happen so we could get that monkey off our backs so we can move on as a franchise as you said lastly, just enjoy the ride of being one of 12 playoff teams for the first freaking time in 20 years bro...franchise QBs can still be found in this offseason (FA or draft)
  19. what? why would any fan leave their seat during a game to go "hit cool spots" in the stadium???? there is something cooler than an NFL game??? yes please keep selling us on how much of a good and dedicated fan base the Jags have lol (you seem educated and cool but I know you are in the VAST minority of Jags "fans")
  20. oh my god you suck at life
  21. I LOVE TRE!!! I liked him talking to Gaines after Gaines dropped the INT, telling him he has to pull it into his body instead of falling to the ground with the ball up in the air just in his hands...great teammate and what a heady kid for a rookie, schooling veterans. This kid is the real deal!
  22. you sound like you are a blast at parties
  23. THIS coupled with the Bills fans at the airport, in the concourse at the Dolphins game watching and celebrating together, the Kyle Williams TD, the Bills in the locker room celebrating and all the fan footage of them celebrating at their respective parties and bars is INCREDIBLE WITHOUT A DOUBT my happiest and more importantly, PROUDEST moment as a life long Bills fan. I am OK with being a crying adult male right now.
  24. Hughes has one pass rush move this year, and its getting upfield fast, tackles are used to this from film study and is a large reason he has not produced the sack numbers (it IS forcing QBs to step up into the pocket, which if we had great DTs we could be getting more pressure). I wish we would could somehow end up with Roquan Smith from Georgia, but he will be long gone by the 20s
  25. you were ABSOLUTELY correct and I was dead wrong brother!!!! I have never been happier to lose a bet in my life!!!!! GO BILLS!!! *All who felt like I felt (beginning of December, no chance at playoffs), but DIDNT make a bet with anyone as foolish as I did, should instead go to the Andy Dalton charity and donate $17.00 because you too doubted this years Bills and their playoffs chances
