  1. Flip side: The bend but don't break defense, who creates opportunistic turnovers, forces an offense to go and be really good and execute for 10+ plays every drive...knowing your offense is going to go get a touchdown with their possession. You are betting that your defense can get enough red zone stops and create a turnover or two to give extra possessions your top tiered offense. Sure, you could go about it in an over aggressively manner, but that only takes one big play from the offense to match your offense. Like it or not, the defensive philosophy is to force the offenses to continuously execute for 60 minutes. I would love to see us be more aggressive on 2nd and 3rd and long for sure though, instead of allowing teams to get into 3rd and shorts/manageable or convert against soft 3rd down looks. That is my one hope to see (and we have seen more aggressive calls and man coverage the last 5/6 weeks of the season) in the playoffs.
  2. Selling the pair for 400 total...cheaper than resale sites and avoid ticket master fees and taxes
  3. Selling one Lot 4 Parking Pass for the wild card game. Selling on ticketmaster for $200, I am asking $120
  4. and we will deserve to hear it all. Put up or shut up for our boys. We WILL win...31-20
  5. Well we dont know yet who we will have and who we wont. But I definitely get and agree with your point about getting our best defenders on the field. I would rather have AJ Klein and Dodson (or spector, or williams) than Rapp playing LB. And if we DID shift a safety down to LB/hybrid I would just imagine it would be the same guy we have been asking to do that for the majority of the season than swap Rapp/Poyer roles... So what I am saying is, IF we were to use that look in more of our core part of our base D, then treat it like our dime package and have rapp play safety and poyer play in the box, like both have been doing.
  6. I love how some of y'all are listing your reasons for why "we have a chance"...WTF??? We are the better team, playing hot coming in, favored by Vegas, AT HOME...OF COURSE WE HAVE A CHANCE! We SHOULD win.
  7. Haven't we been doing that for the last half of the season except Rapp comes in for Poyer and Poyer slides down into the dime/hybrid/big nickel role? Why would we change what has been working (if Rapp is healthy)
  8. Not loving more travel bans in OP...I am guessing this will disrupt practice/training room time/prep today/tomorrow. Just what we need going into this huge matchup with a depleted roster. What did McD do at the end of the half in Pitt?
  9. is it your below average lake effect snow event?
  10. he has since tweeted "NFL officials say its status quo for 1 pm game"
  11. no. State of emergency just allows pieces to be in place to help out to clear snow and rescue stranded people and restore power. SOE does not equal driving bans and all that. NFL might take it into consideration, that I have no clue. But SOE is an order to allow for certain things to be put in place ahead of time in this case.
  12. would be a short week anyway for us, all the other AFC teams play on saturday...so yea, even shorter week
  13. or just postpone the game to monday in OP, storm will be gone
  14. right?? all the preparedness in the world doesnt change the fact thats its impossible to keep the field clear if the rates of snowfall are what they were during the Colts game and what could possibly be happening on Sunday
  15. you obviously havent seen any of the videos of him during the games going around on social media then. This post could not be further from the truth.
  16. there is literally zero chance of that if ANYTHING (and it would be an extremely small chance) maybe push the game to Monday night after the snow passes
  17. Disagree...our very best player WILL BE our leading passer and rusher and the reason we win Sunday.
  18. I dunno if its starting to look worse and worse, Pat Hammer on channel 2 this morning was more optimistic. Said its still too early to tell where the band sets up, but with the powerful wind and the direction he thinks theres a decent chance that the band will be above OP during the game (DEFINITELY over the stadium for the night/overnight sunday). Only time the snow fall matters is from 1-3...let us play our game as much as possible for the majority of the game and its an easy DUB.
  19. they are not moving this game..thats beyond even thinking about. They decided to move the last game on the Thursday before and that was thought to be cutting it too close. Aint happening for a regular winter storm this area sees regularly, lol.
  20. The Bills have had two games in history moved. For EXTREME weather, like 7 feet of snow. This aint that. This is like the colts game in 2017...they dont want to move games ever and ESPECIALLY not playoffs.
  21. I am an alcoholic, but only on weekends
  22. Local weather guys are usually pretty accurate 2 days out. Ill trust what Pat Hammer says tomorrow about Sundays weather...but obviously, NO ONE knows what lake effect bands do on that day. Just gotta show up and play ball.
