  1. is Mack the best LB in this draft? what free agent RT's or G's will be around this year?
  2. by rule I dont listen to WGR because they are not well informed hacks who rely on brash commentary to get listeners and yes I read the threads on here (unfortunately for the most part) my response to your post was an attempt to get some draft discussion going when you take the QB out of the equation (unless were talking like a 3rd/4th rounder brought in to compete if there is one that falls into our lap)
  3. THIS times a hundred, who cares if none of those QBs will be available....we arent taking one So can we get this thread on the track of...who SHOULD we draft in the 12th-14th slot???? Best O-line available? Linebacker (Mack?)? WR (will the top WR on the board still be there?)? TE (is there one worth taking in round one?)?
  4. its a problem with both of those issues AND the fact that we run every single first down - I understand you must establish the run - but the coaching staff must also understand how incredibly predictable it makes the offense, its OK to throw on first down and run on second down - thats legal in the NFL
  5. it speaks to a losing attitude, a team full of players who dont know how to win good teams find ways to win because they have done it before, they believe, they have confidence and they refuse to lose This team needs to learn how to do that - winning out this year will go a long ways towards starting the turn around (if its going to happen in this regime) - win, gain confidence, know that this group can do it (because its largely going to be the same group again next season) - win now, and let it breed and build over the off season
  6. in previous years I have thought along these lines - but THIS team needs to learn how to win, and going on a three game win streak to end the season gives confidence and helps to start turn around the culture of losing in this locker room, in this franchise.....win football games and the rest will come
  7. anyone eating anything OTHER than Watsons for sponge candy is doing it wrong well done man, well done
  8. Fitz was signed to essentially a one year deal - it was a smart move at the time by an org (scouts and coaching staff) that thought they had the qb for the system, while allowing themselves an out if he wasn't the guy (which he wasn't) - they never thought he was their franchise QB lol - if he panned out in the system under gailey then they kept him around, and if he failed than they just dropped him
  9. Buddy and Co never had a guy they drafted that has only played 10 games in the NFL (after missing an entire preseason) and believe has Franchise QB ability, so your argument is moot
  10. I agree this is very true, however, we dont know if we have our QB or not - if you think we do or we dont, your wrong, we dont know anything after 10 games, and wont know until next year drafting another QB if theres value in the 3rd or 4th round then sure, take a shot at another QB, but not at the expense of upgrading other positions on the team that drastically need it (all of the o-line, WR, TE, LB)
  11. and we dont address other, critical areas on the team while we are drafting these other QBs? unless your suggesting drafting another QB in like the fourth round, then sure, im all for that.... im not all for drafting another QB high, forcefully, if there isnt a guy worth drafting high (like in this upcoming draft)
  12. the thing is, you dont know you have a HOF QB right away people saying EJ isnt that guy have their heads up their arses, as do people saying that he IS that gay.... you must be patient
  13. Also, theres a reason not every team has a Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, Julio Jones, Brandon Marshall, big fast WR - 6'4, fast WRs dont grow on trees...sooooo, wanting us to have one, and us actually having the opportunity to have one are two drastically different things now if there was a 6'4, fast WR and we PASSED on them, or chose not to add them to our roster...then id be upset
  14. But don't you want a number 2 TE that can be a physical blocker?
  15. I like that - but why would we be keeping chandler in this situation? He can't block, he's slow, he doesn't use his frame to catch balls, he drops a lot of balls.....
  16. Who is Grissom?? Am I missing something? It's good to have size, especially when you have none - TJ must go and must be replaced with a larger WR - and hopefully the chandler experience is over and we can get some athletic TE who is also large Goodwin seems like the real deal, he has shown more than just speed - when woods and Stevie were out, Goodwin played his best game A lineup or Stevie, woods, Goodwin and some new, big bodied WR sounds ideal to me (but Stevie will still not be clutch and disappear at times in the game/season)
  17. love this post until the last statement, I like Thad Lewis as a backup, no washed up Carson Palmer muh fugga is going to do anything that Thad cant but seriously....this post explains the reasons why EJ has not looked like Luck (bc no one does)
  18. johnny manziel will be a used car salesman in Texas by 2017
  19. cared about by no american ever
  20. do you just google search "teacher student sex" to find these articles?
  21. no, I would choose a new team and root for them and wish evil things upon the Bills/whatever their new team is this is the only acceptable way to "switch teams" under the rules of the fan code, you stick with your team until that team no longer exists...moving the team frees us from the bonds of slavery that we are currently entrapped by....
  22. Casillero Del Diablo has several delicious reds - cab, merlot, blend....highly recommend and the price cannot be beat (10 dollars a bottle)
