  1. I said “after” next season. Meaning he will be here next year with Shakir to show the ropes to the incoming rookies and still be the de facto “#1” guy this coming season. I believe mostly because of his contract, and hopefully because we hit on a couple great rookie WRs, that next year will be his last in Buffalo. It’s not a bash on Diggs, it’s just a smart way to do business. We shouldn’t be held to the fire every year to solely depend on one WR being our main contributor on offense. I love what GB has done and believe we should do the same and this is the perfect draft class to do it in I’m on board with this thinking and I like dunervay a lot, if he’s not expensive but I’m not hamstringing us to say ONLY 2 WRs in this draft. It’s a loaded class so if we get 3 or 4 then they must be pretty awesome and displace guys that shouldn’t be on the team, regardless of their previous draft status like Shorter. Get the best players at the cheapest cost to help Josh out, that’s it
  2. Gibbs is capable of being an every down RB. He fights for extra yards and doesn’t go down once he’s touched. I like cook in this offense but if you have watched Michigans offense at all he’s our Edwards and we need a Corum
  3. He’s basically a younger, faster, bigger Diggs. Would be happy if he fell to us
  4. How you going to roll your eyes at my comment and then basically say the same thing 😂
  5. Title should’ve said Buffalo Addae’d Miami Hurricanes DB coach to same roll with Bills 😆
  6. I really like Mitchell as well but you can see that he takes plays off and I think that’s what scares people. He’s got crazy upside though kind of like George Pickens so as long as he shows NFL teams, he’s gonna try hard every play I think he’s capable of being a stud in this league. worthy is the opposite of Mitchell to where he is all effort with crazy speed, but he’s just a little dude that can’t take a hit so although I think he’s great with ball in his hands and can take the top off of the defense, I don’t think he’s a number one wide receiver I’m getting closer to having my WR rankings but like I’ve said before this is an unbelievably deep and awesome WR draft so we better take a couple. a few side notes: - I don’t give a rip how bad Tez Walker was at the senior bowl. The dude is a beast and once he’s refined a bit, he’s a true #1 WR. I’d love if he fell to the 2nd round and we snagged him. - we’re not getting the top 3 guys (Harrison, Nabers and Odunze) they’ll be taken top 10 and Beane won’t trade that much capital away even if all 3 are worth it - Franklin is my favorite guy for where we pick in the first round, he’s got the speed, separation early and hands that we want and he can win in the contested catch the department because he’s great at high pointing and timing his catches. But I just wish he was built more like Thomas and Nabers instead of a taller Diggs. I keep telling myself production matters more than how they actually look - I think Coleman and Leggette are fine big WR 2s but I don’t like them for the bills (at least not with an early pick). Neither is great at separating and that to me shows they’re not great route runners. They fit the Higgins role and not what I’d want in my first rd WR
  7. Honestly Rex and the talent the cowboys have are a match made in heaven. Would be a great hire since he’s the D coordinator only and no chance as a head coach which he’s awful at
  8. Not my problem Beane and his crew need to find the bargains. I just know I’m not gonna waste draft picks on guys who aren’t worth them just because it’s a need. I’d rather get a lot of wide receiver talent in a draft class that is overwhelmed at the position. also, I do trust Beane when it comes to the cap. He will do his magic with Josh‘s contract and a couple others to get us where we need to be for the season.
  9. Disagree this is a very deep WR class. 2 WRs at the very least, screw FA WRs. Shakir is the only guy guaranteed to be a contributor at WR after next year on our team right now. Shorter isn’t an NFL WR (hope I’m wrong) and in this draft (and honestly even last year he shouldn’t have been) and wouldn’t be drafted before the 7th. I love Diggs but who knows what his future will be. It’s time to get younger and throw a lot at one of the deepest positions in the class. No reason to just plug holes in a class that doesn’t have great depth or talent at DL or S. Those positions just patch those holes with FA options for now and readdress later if need be. With great talent or average talent the D will still be what it is under McD in the playoffs. We win a Super Bowl because of Josh and this is the time to get Josh all the help he needs (maybe a couple years too late) and the perfect class to do it in
  10. I really do like him, but I would like him more if he was our number two possession wide receiver that we take in the second round after we got our game changing WR that is a matchup nightmare in the first lol. It’s a pipe dream but hey I’m a Bills fan so I can fantasize If we came out of the draft with Troy Franklin 1st round, Ladd McConkey 2nd, BPA (hopefully S and DL) 3rd and 4th round and then nab Luke mcCaffrey in the 5th I’d be out of my mind ecstatic. Josh is the hands down favorite for MVP the next few years lol
  11. I’m happy that they both played well this year but I don't think I’d extend either unless it was very team friendly. Dawkins is going to be 30, has some strength/conditioning issues and I would be surprised if his play didn’t start tapering off. Brown finally had a fully healthy season and was still not good in pass protection. We have Van Denmark who will get another off season of conditioning and who looks to be a future starter. Not saying either Dawkins or Brown don’t deserve extensions, I just think they may not bring back the return on investment and we may have cheaper better options for the future. I would definitely draft an OT in the mid to later rounds again as well since we seem to be doing a good job developing them.
  12. I want to not like this guy because he’s not the kind of WR I want the bills to get but honestly the more I watch him the more I like him lol
  13. I’m sure someone has mentioned this but I’d love for Bieniemy to come in for the vacant QB coach position. He probably wouldn’t take the demotion but if he did I think he’d be very valuable to our offense and Josh
  14. Perfect example! Reagor was pretty “explosive” at TCU and Justin Jefferson wasn’t the same explosive separator that Chase was for LSU but he still knew how to create enough separation with his route running that he was consistently open.
  15. If you can create space that’s all I care about. We have too many receivers who don’t create any space and then we have to rely on Josh to fit it in tight windows. Yes to get a guy who is explosive right off the jump, like Brian Thomas Junior and Troy Franklin and even Worthy would be nice, but it’s not essential if you can just get some space for Josh to work with early in the route. We don’t need an Evans or Higgins because that’s just Gabe Davis with slightly better hands in our offense. We need Joe Brady to watch a lot of Matt Lafeur‘s tape and it would be even better if we had our own Tyreek Hill (one can dream)…but even though hill isn’t walking into our locker room there are a lot of guys in this draft that can be difference makers for Josh
  16. I definitely hear what you’re saying and I basically agree along with great hands being at the top of the list that’s why I kind of feel myself leaning towards staying at 28 and taking Troy Franklin because I think he checks a lot of boxes we need even though he’s not the sexiest pick he really does remind me of a bigger, more explosive version of Diggs. I like a lot of receivers in this class though, so I’m still digging in. To add to this I don’t really care how you get open, we just need guys who can get separation early and often. This has to do with the player AND Brady’s scheme. This draft has a lot of impact WRs. I really do hope we come out of it with at least 2 for Josh
  17. Man I’d love to grab him in the 2nd round. I don’t care what the senior bowl and combine say, the guy is a difference maker. Grab the speedster, Thomas round 1, Tez round 2 and Luke McCaffrey round 5 and McD can nab all the defense he wants the rest of the draft lol
  18. I love Diggs too but this and his decline in play are just 2 more huge reasons we need to go heavy in this, the mother of all WR laden drafts. I will forgive McD and Beane one last time if they draft a couple early finally. If it’s all defense for McDs side of the ball that never shows up for the playoffs anyways, I may have to drive to Buffalo and 🥜 🤛 the whole FO
  19. He used to be a hot mess of a prospect. Honestly thought he was complete trash that had a good arm but this last year and a half he really has gotten better. He’ll get drafted I’m sure but no way he’s above the top 5 guys (Williams, Maye, nix, Penix and Daniels)
  20. I’ll tell you a guy that I would love to grab later in the draft is Luke McCaffrey! That catch he made in the senior bowl game was awesome! Be good to have a guy to fill the slot roll if Shakir ever got hurt or heck 4 WR looks… And he’s a McCaffrey, so you know he’s going to give it his all every play
  21. Can’t see Beane doing this in a stacked class like this BUT I’d be all about it if it meant we got Odunze. That dude is going to be a beast at the next level
  22. This was done over a week ago and honestly can this country get any weaker than it is lol
  23. I do miss Chad Hall, he got the most out of our WR group and with us drafting a couple rookies this year, he’d be a valued asset to there development
  24. I’m hoping teams bypass him because of this and he falls to us in the 2nd or even 3rd round. Kid is a difference maker and even though he needs some good coaching refinement I think he’ll be a stud.
  25. Why not get both. We need some sure handed WRs too. He is a great route runner for a big dude and gets separation which we need as well. Yes to get one guy with everything would be awesome but Mitchell checks a lot of boxes. I also disagree with @NastyNateSoldiers Franklin is awesome. He reminds me of a taller Diggs with more explosion
