  1. Would Dickerson even play at all in the upcoming season after tearing his ACL in January? I’m all for getting a good player at a bargain point in the draft, but I don’t think pick 30 is a bargain for a guy who would miss much of his rookie year. Now, at Bills’ 2nd pick I would be interested. Does anyone have medical reports that say he would be ready for the season?
  2. I can align with your general strategy, but I think what you expect in return is a bit optimistic. Are you saying pick 30 for a mid/high 2nd and equivalent 4th? If so, that might be possible. Except the OL was not good enough last season (especially run blocking) and they are likely to be looking for a starting RT and backup swing tackle in the draft.
  3. I would be shy to take a guy coming off ACL injury even at pick 30. To do that, he better be a top 15 pick without the injury.
  4. I think that Zach Moss and Devin Singletary might disagree with the proposition that the OL is “fine”. I have too many memories of either RB being hit or having to elude tacklers in the backfield to think the OL is ok. That being said, I think the pass blocking was decent. I don’t think that Najee Harris helps this offense very much. You would need Barry Sanders in his prime to get out of the backfield with this OL’s poor run blocking.
  5. RB won’t help with the run blocking this line provides, especially if they lose Daryl Williams. Need to upgrade the OL, particularly run blocking, before RB upgrades (obviously my opinion only). I may be in the minority, but I think Singletary and Moss are fine if they aren’t being hit/eluding tacklers in the backfield regularly. I do like what I have seen of Nixon, but he isn’t super huge - can you play both him and Oliver and expect to stop inside run game?
  6. I don’t expect a WR in the first 3 or 4 rounds unless the value is sky high, even if the release Brown for cap savings and lose McKenzie. I think that Gabe Davis will step into WR3 role.
  7. Really nice job. I enjoy reading your draft posts very much (along with several other very knowledgeable draft nicks that post here). I agree that CB2 is a big need and would help the defense. I would still prefer that the Bills grab a pass rusher in round 1, but agree that with the way the picks fell in this scenario that they would have to reach to pick either DE or blitz-capable OLB. Does Radunz have enough ballast to be an effective run blocker and hold up to bull rushes in the NFL?
  8. Many bigger needs, in my opinion. I’d love a really top-notch TE, but those are hard to come by and OL, DE, DT, LB, CB are bigger needs, in my opinion.
  9. 40 times, in particular, are more valuable for players coming from lower level of competition where they may appear fast vs the lower competition, but not be particularly fast by major college/NFL standards. For guys at the top colleges playing against top colleges, the game tape should pretty well tell you their speed.
  10. I’m not opposed to a really top RB, but I can’t fault Moss and Singletary when they were being hit/having to elude tacklers in the backfield frequently. In my opinion, improved run blocking will benefit the run game more than replacing Singletary or Moss.
  11. A 4.3 RB would still have been hit in the backfield behind this OL. I do think (hope?) that injury and resultant position juggling really hampered the OL.
  12. Titans beg to differ and the roughly 250 yards on the ground they gave up to KC in regular season sure looked important.
  13. And as someone else mentioned- CEH and a major league run game.
  14. Or Hardiman who may be faster than Hill...
  15. It is, but those will be pretty late 1st round picks. Let’s assume that both 1st Lund picks are in the 20s - that is roughly equivalent to 1 top-10 1st round pick. And that is even before discounting the 2022 pick by a round as is usually done.
  16. There were many plays where Singletary and Moss were hit in the backfield or had to elude tacklers in the backfield. I think they need to improve the run blocking much more than having to replace Singletary and Moss. Still, I wouldn’t be opposed to finding a true #1 back...
  17. In past years someone posted a link to a google docs spreadsheet containing links to full game videos of draft prospects. Is there one for 2021 prospects?
  18. I think we should not be too hard on Brown for his playoff performance, I think that he was playing with injuries that limited him.
  19. If I were the Jets, I’d start the offer with their 1st and 2nd picks this year and Darnold for Watson. Miami could offer 2 1sts this year and Tua. I think both Tua and Darnold could be good with some weapons an round them, but Watson is very good.
  20. There are no easy outs in the AFC playoffs. Bills offense is going to have to be firing on all cylinders moving forward because opponents will be able to exploit the D. D doesn’t stop the run well at all and they generate little pass rush.
  21. Bills’ run game really leaves me wanting. They can’t get tough yards when needed. I know that the OL has had a ton of injuries, but that doesn’t bode well for playoffs.
  22. Agree that was a garbage call, but Bills beat Rams on equally bad call.
  23. Not a playoff threat. This team can’t thrive even when they have the advantage.
