  1. They might not have any draftable players left on their board, but a 6th (probably pretty early) next year is probably more valuable than this pick was.
  2. It really seems time to take Vorhees and red shirt him.
  3. What about the tall DE from Army Andre Carter?
  4. That’s right. Even packaging those two picks would not move them up very much in the round according to the draft trade value chart I looked at.
  5. Florida had some bad coaching and program was struggling prior to new coach arriving last year. No doubt that they can recruit some top talent, maybe looking for some top athletes who might be behind a bit due to the program’s struggles.
  6. I just watched him vs LSU. Big, muscular guy. I did not see body catching in that game. He can get deep with his size/speed, but as scouting reports I saw said, he isn’t a dynamic route runner. Cutting sharply at his size is a challenge. In that game, his size allowed him to shield defenders with his body on over the middle plays. I know 1 game is not scouting, but I can see a little of what they like. I also read that, as I guessed, he is a gunner on ST.
  7. Anyone have any idea what teams don’t like about Antonio Johnson and JL Skinner? I think Wypler is still there because he is really only a C and most teams like multi-position OL.
  8. Agree, curious pick. I’m guessing he likes to play ST.
  9. That was what I was suggesting.
  10. I think it means they have a number of guys with similar grades, so willing to drop back 13.
  11. Probably got Washington 6th. Maybe package the two 6ths to come back up.
  12. Called it, they traded down.
  13. Won’t be surprised if they try to trade down a bit, but I think some decent prospects still there.
  14. How about Luke Wypler or Jammie Robinson or Andrew Vorhees or AT Perry with next pick?
  15. Hope that both Spector and Bernard have done so. I agree, Spector staying at the facility all off-season is a suggestion of dedication, but you can train most anywhere, so hoping Bernard has too.
  16. Williams certainly looks like an athlete and he is fast. The Bills seem to have a current “type” at LB - undersized with speed. From Brandon Beane’s press conference it sounds like they took him as an outside backer, not as someone who will compete to replace Edmunds next year. Probably unfair to suggest this, but it seems like they hit on Matt Milano and now are looking for another guy in a similar mold. Williams has speed and athletic movement skills to play in a pass happy NFL, let’s see how he develops. Looking at body types, Williams looks more the part than Terrel Bernard did last year. Anxious to see if Bernard bulks up over the offseason. Milano really built some muscle after a year in the program, hopefully Bernard can too. Williams, though, already is built.
  17. About 2 rounds in for Bills…
  18. I probably would have gone to another position - maybe Derrick Hall.
  19. Working on building the smallest LB group in the league.
  20. Not much to say.
  21. Welp what now?
  22. Now trade the remaining picks to go get Trenton Simpson and call it a draft. I wonder what teams don’t like about Simpson. Fabulous athlete, but he has played a number of positions so not polished at one.
