  1. I don't think it's about "run heavy". It's that McD wants both the run game and pass game clicking. Dorsey was absolutely clueless. He didn't see the importance of a run game (see playoff game against the Bengals in the snow). Dorsey should have been fired after the Bengals playoff game, but it's hard to fire the OC when the offense ranks highly in many categories. But that was a mirage. McD's mistake was not firing Dorsey sooner, or even hiring him in the first place. It wasn't sustainable for Allen to be throwing 60 times a game from the shotgun every week, which is all Dorsey ever had in mind. How many attempts did Lamar Jackson have last week??? He was 18 of 21! 21!!! Brady is trying for more balance, which is needed because it's more sustainable. Allen was a few close completions away from having a solid game in the last two weeks. He missed some throws. Pitchers don't always have shutouts. Let's see how he does next week with it all on the line. Hopefully Brady and Allen get it figured out together and they make a deep run. If the Bills get to the AFC Championship, Brady keeps his job. Short of that, show me Frank Reich for OC.
  2. Is that you Ken Dorsey?
  3. Remember the Giants game?
  4. Would the Eagles have a winning record without the tush push? It seems to be about 30-40% of their offense.
  5. Everybody is the greatest. Everybody is unstoppable. Everybody is unbelievable.
  6. Collinsworth says that Lamar Jackson cannot be defended and that Trevor Lawrence is "the chosen one."
  7. Every series has "the greatest play from the greatest player I've ever seen" moment. Superlative after superlative. Nothing he says has any significance.
  8. Is Cris Collinsworth the most annoying human being on the planet? "Trevor Lawrence is the chosen one." Anyone who makes a good play is the greatest player on the planet. Fake laugh after fake laugh, bad joke after bad joke. He's so fake. And now we have his son to look forward to for the next 50 years.
  9. He's just not a great receiver. The fear is always that a great player slips away and has a lot of success somewhere else. That's not happening with Gabe. He's a one-hit wonder.
  10. This is just sad.
  11. Not ready. How often has it been the case that a new coordinator has success, only to fall back to earth after teams adapt to their tendencies? I will say that Dorsey was a cancer. Promoting him to OC almost destroyed this team. With that perspective, Brady is doing a great job so far. Dorsey was a rolodex coordinator. He didn't have any strategy. Brady is definitely more of a strategist. And he knows how to use Cook. Let's get all the RBs involved! Not sure about the comparison to a HoF player. But yes, Thurman was an elite pass catcher in his time. If Cook can get going even more this team will win more games no doubt.
  12. One official signaled out of bounds, the other vetoed him. GAME OVER. Buffalo still has a shot at the division.
  13. The clock should be running but they stopped it . . . to review the catch.
  14. Why score there with that much time? Shouldn't Henry have gone down at the 1? A field goal from Miami wins the game. Tua and Tyreek can score no doubt. Vrabel is BRUTAL with clock management. The Belichick mystique has faded to nothing.
  15. I didn't let myself enjoy this earlier in the week. I'm enjoying it now though . . . Josh Allen is MEME
  16. I agree. Actually, it's a separate point that the officiating has sucked this year league wide. It would be nice if the players addressed it not during the heat of the moment. Maybe the NFLPA should make some demands for changes to how the NFL does its officiating business. It's disgraceful. But I just saw the clip of Mahomes in the post-game hug with Allen bitching to Allen about the call. I agree he's being [fill in the blank] in that moment. Maybe he's mad he's not getting the Swift [fill in the blank]
  17. True but this is the problem with NFL. There are terrible calls every week that go against teams. Sometimes it evens out, and sometimes it doesn't. For the team who gets screwed, they complain. But for the team who benefits from a bogus call, they keep their mouths shut. They are thinking "we have had so many bogus calls go against us, it's about time we got a lucky break." Not saying that's the case this week. Dude was clearly offside and it was the right call. But, last week, there was an egregious NO CALL against the Packers that cost KC the game. Not only that, but there have been multiple games this year that were decided not by the players, but by the officials and their terrible calls. I agree with the spirit of what Mahomes is saying, even if it's not applicable to this case. The bottom line is that the NFL officiating is a total disaster and needs to be overhauled and reimagined from the ground up. It's disgraceful.
  18. Joe . . . Joe MAMA
  19. Does someone want to tell Brady that the field is wet?
  20. Looks like Dorsey is still calling the plays!!!
  21. My thoughts exactly. I used to like him . . . before I realized he's just another attention [fill in the blank]
  22. What the heck is John Wowrow?
  23. Are we sure? Chris Simms said on his podcast that they should try Davis in the slot and put Shakir on the boundary. Why can't Shakir play on the outside? I'm honestly asking.
