    Honest Q: Can Isabella fill in for Samuel or does he lack the speed? I don’t know much about him except he was a stud in camp last year. and he’s tough and doesn’t seem to miss time due to injury…

    ESPN is orgasming over Patrick Mahomes’ preseason performance. “Wow he threw a 6 yard pass to Taylor Swift’s boyfriend” was literally the analysis! Post game interviews on said throw. High School varsity vibes all around. You mean you’re not swooning over the fact that Taylor Swift’s boyfriend caught a behind the back pass!!!!

    A lot of good tackling and blocking… some good clean hits. I’m not looking for sexy action in the preseason…

    With an offense that bad… he just can’t get the O on the right track. Not a good offensive coach… Watching the Dallas / Denver game. QB play is brutal for both clubs. Truthfully, there is a scarcity of quality back ups available league wide.

    Tomlin has never had a losing season. They never draft high…

    To build team confidence. Last year the whole Pittsburgh team lost confidence in the O / QB play in general. Had a controversy with the o coordinator who was public enemy number one and fired mid season… Pittsburgh’s story was lights out D but they couldn’t put up points or pick up first downs week after week… similar to jets… that’s why fields needs to ignite some team confidence that Steelers offensive isn’t gonna suck… again… and the whole team knows Russel Wilson sucks. They see it everyday in practice. that’s what I’m thinking if I’m coach Tomlin

    I’m watching the Steelers feed. They had a replay. Tough catch but he could have hauled it in. Coleman may have been hearing footsteps. Charlie Batch pointed out it was a good non hit to the head by the Steelers safety… learning experience for Keon…

    Supposedly partners? Supposed by whom? They are employees. They don’t have an ownership stake… if you have improvements at your office, do you want to help pay for them? The owners themselves have a financial reason to go to grass, namely a better return on your investment. Fewer injuries means more bang for your buck. Tyreek Hill played in KC and Miami (both grass fields)… he’s still fast… My understanding is that players overwhelmingly prefer grass. Source: Finally, if safety is a disincentive, why do players wear helmets at all? Take them off !

    I wonder if anyone in the media has the cahones to ask McD about this… it’s gross incompetence if true and the staff in question should be dismissed… even in financial terms alone… millions of your investment down the tubes…

    The NFLPA should demand 100% grass fields in all stadiums and practice fields as a negotiating chip for the 18 game season. FIFA already has this rule and the World Cup (which will be played in US football stadiums) will be converting their fields to comply with it because the FIFA tournament is a cash cow. It’s common knowledge in the soccer world that artificial turf leads to more injuries. The problem is natural turf fields are expensive to maintain and some owners don’t want to pay for it. Glad that Pegula is not one of the cheapos in this regard. Hopefully injuries will go down in the long run in the new grass field stadium.
