  1. does anti-abortion violence count http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-abortion_violence just saying
  2. I wish you'd explain that to my gold and silver assets because they been have bobbin around in a range for more than a year now. In fact I don't think many if any of the metals are at highs, housing? - food is up but the weather has been pretty ****ty the last couple years, Education and medical care are up but they've been going up 3-4xs the level of inflation since the 70s , which kinda leaves fuel which is open to all kinds of manipulation and premiums- speculators make up about 80% of the market now (would you support making players take physical delivery?) on the refinery side they have been following a policy of virtually zero spare capacity (If I was king I'd force them to have some robustness to the system but I guess efficiency and profits trump any kind of national concerns).
  3. If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? If a trillion dollars is created but doesn't find it's way into circulation, does it cause inflation? if the fundamentals of my currency are ugly but not as ugly as all the other currencies, does it get devalued? IF the QE money is mostly sitting in the big financial institutions making them look more secure than they deserve to look with the rest stopping asset class investments from plummeting, is that a bad thing? personally I'd rather the money spent on infrastructure, job training and energy efficiency but Obama is a Wall street shill so this is what you get.
  4. geez do I have to hear the propaganda again that Nassib outplayed Geno Smith in the Pinstripe bowl yes Syracuse won but their two RBs combined for 365yrds - Geno Smith was 19/28 201yds 2 TDs 0 intsNassib 11/23 130yds 2TDs 1int Syracuse
  5. so can you name any of the 53 Americans killed during the Bush presidency in 12 attacks on embassies and consulates, I'm sure you can name all 53 because you are not some uncaring mouth breather like most Americans.
  6. I rated then a little differently but I place a very high value on the QB being able to make a positive play when the OL breaks down or the receivers are covered - Geno Smith showed me the best ability to buy time to make throws or get first downs running.
  7. It's a shame he's being prevented from teaching in the classroom since he's probably one of the more articulate and eloquent lecturers in Alabama and the South in general.
  8. Iranian oil production is in decline due to various sanctions (sells, banks, currency, spare parts, insurance for tankers, etc etc) - Libya oil production is still not up to pre-war levels- but generally speaking rapid spikes in pump price usually have to due with refinery issues and or financial speculation.
  9. I rate them 1. Geno Smith 2. Matt Barkley 3. Tyler Wilson 4. Glennon 5. Manuel 6. Bray 1. Geno Smith - I think Smith and Barkley are similar in neither has glaring flaws but I think Geno Smith is a little taller, a little more athletic with better escape ability and a better runner, has a little stronger arm and is a little more accurate - I think he will be pretty good but think Tony Romo not Aaron Rodgers 2. Matt Barkley- I think could be a pretty good QB in the right system- If you're rating him better than Smith it has to be on things that don't show up on video (competitiveness, leadership, intelligence) or maybe for playing larger more pressurized venues 3. Tyler Wilson- talent wise I think he's very close to Barkley but small hands and two concussions make me downgrade him a little 4. Mike Glennon - will need a team with an excellent OL, strong running game and some good offensive weapons too have a chance-escape ability is pretty poor but is strong enough to throw with a hand grabbing him and is tall enough to throw with a DT in his face. 5. E.J. Manuel- most upside of this years QB but some serious questions too- Very good size and very athletic but more Ben Roethlisberger than Cam Newton- intelligent but like Fitz might not always translate to football intelligence - lacks the three quicks I look for ( quick decisions, quick feet, quick release) not terrible but not up their with Geno Smith or even Barkley 6. Tyler Bray- many of the best throws I've seen this year but maybe even more terrible throws - one game he threw two ints and could have easily had ten more- I think his arm strength is #1and at times he zips the ball 40-50 yards into small windows almost perfectly but so many god awful throws, skinny frame, and less than stellar athletic ability should make him a day three guy draft wise.
  10. I too thought this might be a trade possibility with the Rams wanting a OT and a pretty good drop off from Eric Fisher to the third OT
  11. oops sorry I didn't mean to be unrealistic in this thread
  12. Here's how you go get a quarterback 1. trade this years1st round pick for a second round pick this year and a 1st and 3rd next year 2. trade each of the 2nd round picks to teams for next years 1st round picks 3. get rid of Fitz and sign Vince Young, Jamarcus Russel and Tommy Grady arena football all star 4. let Byrd and Levitre go trade Kyle Williams for a second round pick 5. Suck mightily 6. enter 2014 off-season with a ton of cap space, 4 1st round picks at least one of which should be in the top 3 (from sucking mightily), 2 2nd round picks and 2 3rd round picks 7. despite having more than twice the cap room as any other team and 8 picks in the first three rounds including 4 1st round picks - the Bills blow the entire off-season 8. Bills fans go insane and form roving gangs bent on wanton violence and cannibalism 9. A national emergency is declared and Obama faced with a choice of nuclear strikes or appeasement chooses appeasement 10. A super board of NFL pundits is created to choose one player from every NFL team and the 23 best college players to create the new Bills 11. some how beyond all reason the Bills still suck and the roving gangs continue 12. The new President a hardliner says screw it -launch nuclear strikes 13. Through a complicated series of misunderstandings every nuclear armed country launches all their nukes 14. some 20 million years later and the world is dominated by radiation resistant intelligent racoons 15. and these racoons play a game very much like football except played with melons and the winners get to eat all the melons 16. and the best tribe with the best melon thrower are from this area 17. and they feast on melon almost all the time
  13. I've watched Nassib against USC, Rutgers, Louisville, Northwestern, and Missouri multiple times and while I wouldn't say he totally sucks I've seen nothing that suggests he could be an NFL starter let alone a top 10 ten type QB.
  14. I read we are fast overtaking China as the leader in prison labor- can I get a we're #1 in the house
  15. On average two starting QBs come from any particular draft, of the starters about 25% are franchise type QBs, 25% are QBs that the fans and coaches can live with and 50% are QBs you'd like to replace with someone better- that's why it's hard for anyone to find a quality QB .
  16. Wilson has small hands and concussions , Glennon has slow slow feet, Bray throws the most beautiful pass you'd ever see then turn around and misses by a mile, Jones crumbles under pressure, Nassib can't escape pressure, throws really bad passes when pressured and is inaccurate past 20 yards, Manuel is fast but not quick, decisions and delivery are too slow,
  17. agree 100% on Smith, He's the best in this class but that's Romo good not Rodgers good,- I've watched 4 videos of Nassib USC, Rutgers, Northwestern , and Missouri, I thought he looked horrid playing USC and Rutgers, average against Northwestern and OK vs Missouri .
  18. Well there's a ringing endorsement, Those four QBs are also the answer to the question "name 4 QBs who make Ryan Fitzpatrick look good"
  19. My big concern with Nassib isn't so much arm strength but his inability to escape pressure and make positive plays.
  20. I like Manuel and he has a lot of upside but his delivery is a little slow, he didn't seem to go through more than two progressions or quickly scan the whole field, and while he's pretty fast his short area quickness isn't as good ( if he sees someone coming he's fast enough to roll out to buy time but if the pocket breaks down he's not quick enough to slide around in the pocket to buy time to make the completion). I think QBs have to have thr
  21. what was Geno Smith's stat line in the game? and what was Nassib's stat line? Syracuse won because their two RBs combined for 373 rushing yards
  22. Man I don't get the Nassib love- Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, Tyler Wilson are all way better- maybe there's a debate when you throw Nassib in against Mike Glennon, Landry Jones, Tyler Bray, Zac Dysert, or E.J Manuel but these are all guys with major flaws in there game.
  23. In my opinion only Geno Smith is worth consideration at 8, Matt Barkley and Zac Dysert (on upside) would be good 2nd round choices- everybody else has big concerns (poor mobility , inaccurate, concussion history, slow delivery, suspect nfl durability, simplified one read offense, poor performance under pressure).
  24. Brady and Manning are both hall of fame QBs but if you can hit them pretty good 3-4 times early their effectiveness goes way down- of course not many teams have the players and schemes to do that.
  25. nice highlights but is he ahead of Keenan Allen, Terrence Williams , and Justin Hunter now?
