that's what you get from that graft? not that commodities started rising in 2003 hit peaks 2008 then crashed and have been moving up to pre-crash levels? so now the rise is just QE so what caused the rise in commodities before ( the economic rise of China, India and the rest of the developing world) or was that QE too?

when people with resources get screwed they can leave and B word about their treatment in another country - when the poor get screwed you don't get to hear them B word because they don't have the resources to leave, before Chavez the poverty rate was about 70% 2011 it was down to 27% - here's a hint, you don't want socialism then don't let a large portion of your population be in poverty

I'm looking at this http://www.indexmundi.com/commodities/ and draw different conclusions

Again pros and cons - and you have to put some things in context like his suppression of "free press" that same "free press" engaged in a 24/7 propaganda blitz and call for overthrow against Chavez during the 2002 coup attempt, the nationalization of the oil companies came after an Atlas Shrugs like attempt to shut down the oil companies by locking out the workers, I'm not an expert on Venezuela but from what I gather from people who have lived there is basically most of the poor and lower middle-class loved him and about 30% of the wealthy cooperated with him to their benefit- most of the upper-middle-class hated him along with about 70% of the wealthy who were not as wealthy as they use to be.

Please, haven't you heard Magox tell you that we are in an inflationary hell because of Obama,s QEs , I mean who are you going to believe ( precious metals, commodity metals, hydrocarbons, currency exchange rates, interest rates and historical inflation norms) or Magox's infallible neo-liberal Austrian wisdom.

A Look at the 2013 NFL Draft Pass Rushers
....lybob replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd still take Ansah, Physically he's right there with Aldon Smith and Jason Pierre-Paul- he's raw but if I was Drawing up a 4-3 DE on a board he'd look an awful lot like Ansah. -
[closed]I Wanna Go on Record: MATT BARKLEY
....lybob replied to TheBackupQB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right now I think Geno Smith has the best combination of upside to downside for QBs in this draft- if Barkley can show he's a 100% healthy and reasonably athletic (4.8 forty or better) then I'd reconsider- gotta say though I'd rather take someone like Fisher, Miliner, Ansah or Johnson with my 1st pick and take Manuel with my 2nd round pick. -
Nix Nixing Nix - are we in full rebuilding mode?
....lybob replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Totally disagree it wasn't salary cap hell that ruined this team but the overreaction to cap hell- unless you have a top 3 QB the model is 3 years of taking your shot followed by 3 years of rebulding -

$250,000,000 for Egypt, but here at home
....lybob replied to Keukasmallies's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Not sure haven't checked this year but I think you may be missing a zero from that number, Egypt usually gets about 2.5 Billion give or take second only to Israel which usually gets around 5 Billion- about two thirds of the money is used on weapons systems and such or to put it another way "it's good to be in the Military industrial complex" with the rest going for development (wink wink nudge nudge)- so what do we get for our money? well besides a nice subsidy for the military industrial complex we get Egypt government to play nice with Israel and its interests even though the average Egyptian in the street would prefer not to play with Israel at all - examples of this would be the flooding of Egypt to Gaza tunnels and selling Israel natural gas below cost- as to why Israel gets to be on the American dole for 50+ years, as Alexander Haig said "Israel is the largest American aircraft carrier in the world that cannot be sunk, does not carry even one American soldier, and is located in a critical region for American national security" -
Exactly, while I think K Williams and Dareus can both play NT without embarrassing themselves I don't think either is a legit NT
-
A lot of people talking like we are going back to a 3-4, last time I heard that wasn't write in stone, if we are then add legit NT to all those holes we have to fill

If Obama has no chance of being blamed...then why
....lybob replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
When most people talk about cutting spending and their wish for small government they mean cutting the stuff that doesn't benefit them and a government that is small in the areas they deem unimportant - or in a semi biblical phrase it depends on whose ox is being gored. -
Tyler Bray - QB - Tennessee
....lybob replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here's your choices at QB 1st rd Geno Smith best combination of ceiling and floor, good odds of a QB who probably won't put a team on his back and carry a team to the SB but like Flacco good enough to get a talented team to the SB 2nd rd Manuel even more upside than Geno Smith but more downside too- poor man's Cam Newton, close but slightly inferior to Newton in most combine tests - on the plus side he has longer arms and bigger hands and from interviews is more intelligent than Newton - it would be nice though if he had a little more of Newton's swagger 3rd rd Bray some of the prettiest throws I've ever seen and some of the worst throws I've ever seen - if he had his best moments 75-80% of the time instead of 45-50% of the time and Bray could be a top 5 QB- religion? meditation? Adderall? if someone could fix what's upstairs this kid could be great but more likely out of the NFL in 3 years. -

Aaron Williams on his way to Buffalo
....lybob replied to buffalobillsgrl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is where I think the Bills are going - a lot of people thought he'd have trouble playing CB in the NFL but those same people thought he could be a very good free safety - I think this is where they tell him they want him to play safety and get his weight up 5-10 lbs
