I believe the Bills opened at home against Miami in 2010 but it was a forgettable game.
I agree though that the schedule is always exciting. Time to start planning the games and tailgating. Hoping we get another MNF game this year.
I think the only reason anyone would have not to favor them at this point is their history. Comparing their roster to the Bengals/Ravens/Steelers after all of the off-season moves and they look like the team to beat.
While I don’t really have a 2nd team myself I believe some people just have a different mindset and decide to have a 2nd team. I am totally fine with that.
Agreed, I am fine with him running as long as he slides before taking hits. Of course even if he doesn’t take hits there is still the risk of non-contact injuries.
While the possibility is slim they could open against the Bills so that has to do with the Bills. But aside from that I've seen my fair share of topics about other teams on this board. Some more recent examples:
Cardinals tweet their support of Right Josh
Brady makes deal with the devil
I hadn't heard about this. Thank you for the info.
Assuming the NFL keeps to tradition, the Pats* will open up at home on the Thursday night opener against someone. Who do you think it will be? The Chiefs seem like the most obvious choice. But then again the Cowboys won their division and the Steelers always draw a big crowd. Bills are unlikely but hey this is a Bills board so they get their own separate choice. Then there’s the rest of NE’s home opponents.
I believe if the Rams win LA will be only the third city where two different teams won the super bowl.
Baltimore: Colts, Ravens
New York: Giants, Jets
LA: Raiders, (the Rams were in St Louis the only time they won)
Coach/QB combo in the division that has had the most success against Brady/Belicheck had probably been Ryan/Sanchez during the two year period where they went to the championship game. I say them mostly because they beat NE in a playoff game in a season where NE looked
like the best team in the league by a mile over 2nd best. Other than that, Tannehill and the Dolphins have had their number recently when they travel to Miami.
