I believe she’s made public suicidal comments for years. She was mentally ill and clearly suffering … even before her son passed. Tragic, tragic story. She never wanted to be a pop star or a chart topper. She knew exactly what she was doing (re: the impact on her popularity/career) when she tore that picture on SNL. Like so many others before her, becoming famous did her few favors. More than her hit song, I’ll remember her for her courage. RIP

Saw Cake last night at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in NYC. Fantastic. John McCrea could be a stand-up comic. Perfect mix of great tunes, great dialogue and a lot of fan interaction. This has been a bucket list show for me since the mid-90s and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

He certainly played a major role in Josh’s development and did his job for two seasons in Buffalo. For that, he deserves credit.

I wear a CPAP and it definitely makes a difference. I have a married friend who sleeps in a different room than her husband. It originally started because she snored so loudly. After getting the CPAP, they decided they still wanted to continue sleeping in separate quarters. But her husband is a douchebag and 20+ years older than she is.

I’m a little torn, but I’m leaning heavily toward standing pat. Keep playing the young guys and let them get big league reps for the rest of the season. Hope Verlander and Scherzer can begin next season healthy. Firing Buck at this point doesn’t seem smart. I think it’s just one of those seasons.

I was just talking about this tour yesterday. Total bucket list show, but with these prices, I need to choose wisely/strategically. No longer interested in paying for arena shows, so this one didn’t make the list. I’m happy they put on a great show, though!!
