  1. Nothing earth shattering, summary below, link at bottom EJ is the guy, needs to stay injury free Marshawn is a tremendous person, played with his (Fred's) kids Thinks Stevie will be back Challenges coming from D3 school No doubt would play in super bowl with concussion, doesn't know anyone who wouldn't http://jimrome.com/2...fred-jackson-2/
  2. Hoppy beer is an acquired taste, developed by first drinking lighter/less robust beers and gradually acquiring a likeness for stronger tastes. (You don't see very many 18 year olds drinking Heddy Topper or Hopp Devil, nor many 60 year olds drinking Bud Light)Dry wine is an acquired taste, developed by first drinking sweeter wines and gradually your taste buds acquire a more sophisticated taste. Sorry, but I haven's seen Mike do any "traditionally" funny stuff that might entitle him to having people think this schtik is funny. Mark Twain once came out and stared at an audience for 10 minutes without saying a word, and received a standing ovation. Wouldn't have worked out that way if he had done the same thing when he was Mike's age.
  3. pretty much summarizes my feelings as well
  4. 1) Toss up between Johnny Cash and John Denver 2) John Lennon 3) (Who do I hope to see before it is too late, even though it isn't one of the OP's questions) - Gordon Lightfoot
  5. Auditioning for another Virgin Life Insurance commercial? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBRORiRImw0
  6. I used to love watching boxing in the 70's and 80's, but never was proud of the fact that I enjoyed the sport so much. Loved watching football as well and was proud of it. Haven't watched boxing for a very long time now, and feel about football the way I used to feel about boxing - still love to watch the games but not very proud of it any more.
  7. Well...I'm not an equestrian person and my eyes seemed to water up a little after watching it...
  8. RIP May he stay forever young
  9. Budweiser Lizards and Frogs (Frogs sell beer. Number one rule in marketing)
  10. There has to be at least one reference to "Gin on the breath, and bible in the hand".
  11. Field goal worth 2, safety worth 3. Retroactive to 1990. Super Bowl XXV final score Buffalo 19, NYG 18. (And we still end up winning the comeback game.)
  12. When you put it like that, sounds more like an invitation for them than a plea not for them
  13. Yes - here is an article from yesterday which at least mentions it http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2014/jan/21/attorney-tidal-wave-of-shame-behind-triple/"Assistant District Attorney General Kevin Allen told jurors Tuesday that Clifford Moore coolly executed the three women nearly two months after learning his wife was having an affair with Snellings." On the link below, my niece is on the left doing her hair. If you start the video (and wait through the 15 second commercial) she can be seen from 50-56 seconds. (Please no wouldya's) http://www.wate.com/story/24521644/victims-daughter-testifies-in-knox-county-triple-murder-trial
  14. I know Gronk would be a fan of eliminating the extra point. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/11/19/bill-belichick-takes-some-heat-for-rob-gronkowskis-injury/ And, while many remember the Ronnie Harmon dropped pass against the Browns in 1990, on the Bills preceding possession they scored a TD but the kick failed. Had the extra point been good, a field goal would have tied the game after the Harmon drop.
  15. guess that only makes me second lowest - 42
  16. Wash your produce (especially bananas) as soon as you get home. The fridge is a good idea, I place a paper towel over things that are left out (peaches for example, they just ripen better out of the fridge). http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf/Pest_Control/Flies/Preventing-Fruit-Flies.html
  17. Did not appear in the article, as mentioned in the OP that info comes from my niece's father (my brother, also a lawyer) from discussion between the two.
  18. http://archive.wbir.com/news/article/221479/2/Powell-triple-murder-case-bound-to-grand-jury My niece works for the public defender's office in Knoxville and is second chairing the jury trial, which starts next week (or maybe it was this week). Her father tells me the three women involved in a threesome. What kind of person goes for the gun instead of the cam-corder?
  19. Mrs. Howell...she was in her mid 60's when Gilligan was on TV and still looked pretty good
  20. Similar to Lynch being traded (for what turned out to be) Carder and Harriston coming off hit and run and gun incidents, deals with players with pasts can pay big dividends. Belichick has a history of taking this chance, hitting the jackpot with Talib / Blount as well as Moss, missing on Haynesworth (which only cost a 5th round pick)
  21. To build on this point, the QB that led the 98 Vol's to the NC was Tee Martin (one of the "pre-Brady 6" picks)
  22. I was at the top two...the jets game at the time was the coldest only to be beaten out 3 weeks later by the Raiders game. Kept my beer on top of the Hibachi cover to keep it from freezing.
  23. One of the "three most similar cities..." is where I'm from.
  24. You are correct"Florida Statute 776.013 states that a person defending their home or occupied vehicle from an "unlawful" forceful entry or attempted forceful entry by another may use deadly force to stop the invasion or attempted invasion of the property. In such instances they need not retreat before using deadly force, they need not warn the intruder of their intent to shoot, and there is an absolute presumption that the person attempting the entry was doing so with the intent to commit a violent act (i.e. "forcible felony"), and that the defender is presumed to be acting in reasonable fear of death or great bodily harm to himself or herself. In other words – no arrest or prosecution is technically "legal" if someone without a right of entry or ownership is trying to break in, and you shoot them..." more here http://www.floridafi...efense-law.html
