My way of looking at is Peterman is a 5th rnd pick,can he be the guy? we don't know. But they are going all in a 1st rnd QB next year. What if Peterman is that guy? so we throw a 5th rnd pick to the wolves or maybe the team rallies around him.

Let Peterman start and I bet he wins more than 5. The way TT has played in PS it looks like a one win season. The Sabres went the wrong way trading away all the small faster skilled guys in a skating and speed league. You need 1 or 2 tough guys that can play and a bunch of speed and skill guys like the Leafs. This defense is going to keep them in games,they need a QB to run this new system and I vote for Peterman.

My way of thinking is that we have seen TT and I think this is his ceiling. Peterman might be the guy we have been waiting for,or he might not but he appears to have a higher potential for growth in this system. Start the kid and lets see what we have,if he pans out those 6 early picks can get us some real depth and maybe new starters at positions of need. If he doesn't work out then its back to plan A drafting the BQBA and hoping he pans out. To me its a win- win situation. I think the fans would understand...I know I would and as season ticket holder I would be more excited to see #2 under center.

I bet he gets us to 3-3 I think this kid is the real deal and maybe one of the big steals of the draft. I agree it is for a Vet QB. But the Bills are evaluating a rookie.

I think Peterman has a good grasp of this offence. He had some good zip on some of those throws and got 2 nice third and long strikes called back on BS penalties. I like TT but he doesn't fit this O. Maybe put in some special wildcat plays where he(TT) can do a P/R/O BTW I think McD said it best when he mentioned how when he asked the guys in the huddle about Petermans command of the huddle and the play calling and they were all impressed.

BS calls that ended drives(called back 2 nice passes) on both tackles and the even up call on the Ravens happens on a 3rd and long where they didn't even make a 1st down. The one holding call on Ritchie was BS too,he was guilty on the other one.

They were winning there was no need for a culture change.

Because one over the hill player thats been here all of 2 weeks retires the whole season is doomed. Other Vet players will want out and demand trades.....come on people get a grip. I think the veteran leadership on this team has more guts and gumption than that. While I did like the Boldin signing he clearly wasn't better than some of the young guns he would have stole time from. Even with that said I see a few waiver wire guys coming in after labor day. I just hope they make it past the Jests who are in worse shape than the Bills at WR.

From what little I seen of him he looked old and slow. No wonder Detroit didn't want him back.

I would love to see him have a great game(2 or 3 TDs) and get some snaps with the ones in practice this week and maybe start Preseason Game 3 or 4 and play a full first half.
