I keep hearing how Torell Troup and Kyle Williams are going to be good fits for the 3-4 Nose Tackle position for the Bills and will be battling it out until the season starts. One question I have is "Are we forgetting someone?" If I remember correctly, Marcus Stroud is still on this team, or isn't he? Does anyone think he is in good enough condition at this point in his career to play the Nose Tackle position in the 3-4, or at least be in a rotation involving him playing a major role? Is it even fathomable that he could play defensive end, or is that a position that we want to use for quick pass rushers, rather than tough run-stoppers... I am in the opinion that we have enough depth on this defensive line that we could insert players at different positions on the line.

I have heard numerous comparisons between McCoy and Brees... Does this mean that Spiller = that of L.T.'s caliber of talent?

I have the answer. We are all excited because this is the only time of year that we know the Bills are going to sign someone to make the team at least a little more interesting. They consistently fail to do so during the free agency period.

Just remember, if and when we do pick this "Quarterback of the future," do you want him playing alongside and learning from the three most average quarterbacks of this decade (Edwards, Fitz, Brohm)? That being said, we need a veteran QB to lead this team, not only for the sake of actual leadership for the team in which we lack, but for the sake of developing a new prospect-type QB (Tebow/Braford/Clausen/etc).

Let me just say this, if the best college football players became the best NFL players, then Ryan Leaf is currently playing football right now for the Chargers quickly becoming one of the highest paid NFL players, is better than Manning/Brady, has won several superbowls, and is regarded as one of the best quarterbacks of all time. That being said, I believe I have reached my conclusion: Performance in College football has nothing to do with the level of playing ability in NFL, therefore Tim Tebow like ALL OTHER rookies is always a risky pick; you never know if he or any other college players will pan out to be good or bad.

The consensus among Bills fans is this: We will not be happy with who we draft, we will have to wait and see how they play first until we are satisfied with the pick.

How about brining Alex Van Pelt back to our Quarterback Competition. I wonder if he, in his old age, can be a better quarterback than coach!

Brett Favre won't come back until the Vikings' training camp is over. Why would a 40 year old quarterback want to go through a grueling training camp? He didn't go through it last year, and look where it got him! He is the exception to the rule.

This means we have a better chance of beating the Jets this year! Their run game isn't going to be as effective, and that's what their specialty as an offense was.

Realistically it's a ten year rebuilding plan.
