The problem is that even with their starting RB out, our run defense is giving up 5 yards each running play. If they can establish the run, they'll be able to play action and it won't matter how good our dbs are. With the exception of Whitner. What has he ever done?

If this were Trent's first time looking like a deer in headlights when the objective is clear I would worry less. If Gailey can mold QBs like I hear, I hope he inserts a spine.

I don't know why more defenses don't pick Edwards off more often. He throws to RBs and throws into the flat 80% of the time.

Hiding how good our defense is? I'm not puffing on that. However even if our defense on paper is worse than last year, we'll do better this year. Jauron was the substitute teacher you didn't care about listening to and slacked off on. Gailey seems to be the teacher that expects you to do well and you must answer to if you fail.
