  1. All Wilson had to do was give up control and a measly 10 million and we'd have Cowher.
  2. Ralph Wilson has been selling this team short for 50 years, why would he change now? What possible coach would say "He's been Scrooge for 50 years, this year will be different. He'll spend the money and release his iron grip on the team." If we're going to have to scrape the bottom of the barrell for coaches, I want to see April interviewed. He did his job consistantly without the best players.
  3. Kurt Warner showing a steel set of grapes coming back into a game where he's only going to get hammered the rest of the game. I'd let Leinhart take the lumps for me. Cardinals aren't coming back this time.
  4. Ralph Wilson already died. But his re-animated corpse will never let go of this team.
  5. I got a buy one get one free coupon for one
  6. We're clearly not getting a big name as long as the Cryptkeeper owns the team. I'm not opposed to an inspirational Mike Singletary-like coach which Fewell seems to be
  7. If Cowher isn't signed, I want Ralph Wilson's stupidity engraved on his tombstone. Something like "He didn't build the Bills, he just owned them."
  8. What is a college coaching contract? Never heard of it.
  9. What makes you think Ralph Wilson will suddenly pony up the dough and control for a good HC? Did the ghost of Christmas past visit him? He's been the same way for 50 years and you'll have to pry control from bony hands.
  10. The Bills would be better off without Wilson. If he were serious about making a change, we would have offered Cowher whatever it took. Especially with the possibility of going into an uncapped year. No cap hit. Make the deal. Or not. Just pick another overly conservative, defensive-minded coach, overdraft CBs, and ignore our OL.
  11. Hold on, did the original poster ask would you rather have future Hall of Famer and Super Bowl winner Ray Lewis instead of a first round draft pick that was replaced by a third string in MarshawnLynch? I'll take that trade.
  12. The bad times and mediocre seasons will make our eventual Super Bowl victory that much sweeter.
  13. McNabb is still haunted by both the Campbells soup AND Madden cover curse
  14. Living in Redskinville, I can't help but agree. The Skins have had similar seasons the past 3 seasons. Last year they were 6-0 and dropped the last half of the season just like us. And this year we barely managed to win two more games. But all in all we're in the same boat at opposite sides. They have a money soaked owner with no plan. We have all plans but no money to make it work, or to keep the good players we have
  15. We didn't need a saftey then, and he's proven to be just that: an inconvenience. The most memorable Whitner moments are: in 2008 when he chased down a Raiders receiver in the endzone just to hit him late and get flagged this year when he actually made a pick that meant something I desperately would like to be proven otherwise. DW's got one year to shine, or he'll be trade bait
  16. I dislike any kind of football that doesn't coddle the quarterback position. Or just Tom Brady. If he sneezes, 15 yard penalty on the defense.
  17. Living in Redskin country they are happy about snagging Shanahan. We'll see if Snyder can keep his grubby hands off the team for long
  18. Pat Williams? Ted Washington? Perhaps we need some beef in our D-line?
  19. I would be the last person to say that TO is a class act. But this was one shining redemption in a sea of "I love me some me."
  20. Haslett hasn't impressed with his Rams tenure. High picks in the draft and not much improvement
  21. I thought that affirmative Rooney action requires we interview Fewell first
  22. The dirtiest player in football plays second fiddle to no one!
