  1. Overrated- Gilmore. I don't see what the hype is. He gets tons of penalties, few ints, and has a hard time turning his head and finding the ball. Doesn't have soft hands Underrated- Bob Woods. Amazing hands, brings tons of energy, durable. Has everything you want from a WR. He'll always be out there fighting while golden boy Sammy is out with a hip injury, tight glutes, or soreness. Bob Woods doesn't take days off
  2. ALA Mighty Ducks 2 when Gordon Bombay puts Fulton Reed in for Goldberg at goalie and fires a 3/4 ice shot in the upper 90. "THE GOALIE!!!!!"~ Wolf "the dentist" Stanton
  3. Having EJ under center gives my that terrible feeling in my stomach reminiscent when Trent Edwards was our starting QB. No ability to make any plays whatsoever and can't hit the broad side of a barn
  4. where is the "happy" option. He is a waste of a roster spot and taking up valuable reps. Get him OUT
  5. Would love to have him back. Had some great years here with Fitz. Plus Watkins and Woods could use a mentor that realized he has done some dumb things in the past. The guy gave it his all every game and play.
  6. This a golden opportunity. A blessing in disguise. We have an owner who actually wants to spend money on the FO. The Bills have never had that luxury. This is what we all have been waiting for. Why the hell are people upset about losing Doug Moron? A .500 coach, bad game day decisions, coached not to lose, could't see that Hackett was a major problem, bad relationships with media, some players and other FO employees, acted very childish and whiny, made a mess of the O Line(move Pears, a tackle to guard failed. Played cyril richardson over Urbik when clearly Urbik was the better player). He was not/is not a good coach.
  7. The reason why this is a tough loss for me was that I just watched Trent Edwards play Qb for us coached by Dick Jauron. I saw this game a few years ago with the same exact outcome. Teams stack the box on us, blitz us, take the run game away, make us one dimensional and dare EJ to make a play. Until he makes a play we will be doomed. He is not accurate at all, cannot read defenses, and has a very strong conservative mindset. Very concerning. We can't rely on defense and special teams chipping in every game in order to be a good team. I think our D has played well this season. Vanilla, but solid giving our offenses many chances to win or keep us in the game. We won't see as many sacks and ints as last year, but we will be better vs the run and give up less big plays. Offensively we are too predictable and plain. We need another type of offensive other then the read/option. Ej cant read. I'd like to see him under center with rollouts, playaction, I form or 2 TE sets.
  8. Let's get ready to celebrate another loss to a team who is better then us. Great. Everyone gets a trophy, A++ rating, and MVP honors. Results don't matter here on this board. Only showing up does. Yay, I'm giddy over another losing season! We were exposed
  9. I'd be very interested in Dolphins backup Matt Moore. How can you logically go into year 2 of this regime with the same QBs as last year? It's disgusting.
  10. They better keep Thad. It would be really stupid not to. Why not have a fair QB competition for the starting job next year? Marrone did say he will evaluate everything, but gives EJ the job when he has earned jack squat. There is also no way they can go into the season with EJ and Kolb as our number one and two QBs. Neither one can stay healty.
  11. what about the old "I gotta look at the film". Or , quoting our coach at one of our press conferences something along the lines of...."I'd like to see us 100% healthy one time.. just one time with our starters go out and play a game and see what happens." That excuse went out the window Marrone.
  12. I don't think spending one high draft pick(Glenn) on the O-line since 2009 is addressing the problem thats been plaguing this team for years(other then QB). There should have been some sort of plan to replace Levitre with a good player through the draft or FA. I still hope we pick someone up. I dont want a late round draft pick or cast off from another team protecting our rookie QB. We've been down this road too many times already. They were late round picks, released, or undrafted for a reason(lack of skill). Yes, there is a chance Brown/Caldwell/Legursky may fill the role just fine, but how many times has that worked out for us in the past. I'd say its a small chance one of them succeeds. The Bills can barely hit the broad side of a barn. And no, I dont think it fair to give these guys a shot because they have already failed thier previous teams and were unwanted. "Failure to prepare is preparing to fail" If you seriously think Pears, when healthy, is a passable RT "then consider me Miles Davis". I dont know what Bills games you were watching last year but he was awful. He is 30+ journeymen who regressed last year. And to your points about NYG and NO. Your missing the main point. NYG has a top 10 clutch QB in Eli, arguably the best dual treat in receivers, and every year they have a successful RB by committee that scores many, many rushing TDs. They can beat you running or throwing. Pick your poison. NO has an elite QB, elite TE, great poession receiver in Colston, and a good RB by committee. Its just a matter of time before Brees picks your team apart. Both of theses teams have been successful franchises for a while now and can afford to downgrade their line because they can mask it with their establised offensive systems and QBs. We have neither.
  13. If the O-line has been addressed like some of you say, why do we have holes in it every single year? Spending 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, round picks on O line is not addressing the problem. You will most likely get a backup player. Not re-signing your most consistent O line men the last few years in Levitre is not addressing the problem. Signing other teams cast-off O line does not address the problem. Are you telling me Pears is a starting right tacke? What are you smoking? Even Hairston a starter? Urbik was a good sign, but he does not WOW anyone. Good teams draft multiple O line men consistently in early rounds. Not WRs, RBs, S, and LBs. Welcome to the losing culture in Buffalo that many people on this website support. Sorry, I dont have time for 13,000 posts. I work
  14. We'll see who is right when our QB is getting crushed. Keep on drinking the kool aid that gets us to no playoffs in 13 years and failed regime after failed regime. Congrats! And dont stil there on your high horse like your **** dont stink and tell me I'm wrong when this is a message board and everyone has their own opinion. You sir are ok with mediocore and celebrate 7-9 seasons like we made the playoffs and actually have a damn chance to build something special. Until there is commitment on drafting positions of need(not luxury), signing and retaining our best players the BILLS will forever suck like we have. Too many people on this board are ok with mediocore.
  15. Once again our downfall will be the offensive line. This has not been addressed for years and continues to be the worst unit I feel on our team. I dont wanna hear about how good out line was last year. Gailey knew they sucked and taliored a quick pass spread offense to not make them look bad. We take luxury pick after luxury pick at skill postions when what we really need is big fat athletic talented men on the O-Line. Whats the point in having multiple number 2 or 3 WRs when you can't get the ball to them and you are more of a running team. Maybe Woods, Goodwin, Grahm(why is easley still on the team, just stupid) will pan out but we need a starting caliber RT, LG, and some depth for when/if injuries occur. I love Wood but even those freak injuries really hurt us and we need someone capable behind him. Pears was god awful last year. Hairston was hardly any better. Glenn looked good but I still want to see more. There is no depth at all. We lose our most consistent player on the line in Levitre. Instead we overpay for Merriman, Kelsay, Anderson, McKelvin and let the good players walk like Greer, Levitre and i pray not Byrd. He is the best safety in the game, and one of the best players on our team. Our game will be won in the trenches and not with young WRs, CBs or Safties. The offensive line situation really irritates me. GO BILLS
  16. Warren Sapp would be doing the same thing JB is doing, holding out to get paid. How ironic. I think everyone should email NFL network and voice thier opinion of dislike towards sapp and what a crappy analyst he is.
  17. A joke you say. "A joke is a story with a humorous climax" ~Spock, for Trek fans
  18. He is the #1 problem with this team now other then Ralph being the owner. He also said Russel Wilson was too small to play NFL QB, as did a lot of others. Judge not by the cover.
  19. Watch Marshawn stick it to us and show who the best complete back on this field is. I miss Marshawn and his personality a lot. I wish he was our starting back still. I hope he makes us look like fools for giving up on him. Was one of my fav BILLS of all-time. A 4th round pick, really Buddy, you're killing me. Coulda had Wilson, but TJ Grahm. Reeks of foul garbage. SKITTLES BABY! Can't wait to watch some Beast Mode live action. Boy do I miss that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2uN28EJRlA
  20. Buddy Nix is a 70 year old scout and only Bills would hire this guy. Spiller, Carrington, Dareaus, and Searcy are the only NFL caliber starters IMO he had drafted in his first two years here. He hit on 4 picks out of 18 in his first two years. 22% hit. Good teams are built through the draft and he has not done that. Atleast Jauron was able to find some late round jems like KW, and SJ. If your okay with being mediocore then Buddy is your GM. I'm not okay with it and I want accountablity. Ravens fire Cam Cameron for not giving Rice the ball enough, when they are winning their division. Sounds familiar, right. Panthers fire their GM for sucking. I wants heads rolling because this is completely unacceptable for real NFL teams. We are not. Their is no accountability here in BUffalo.
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BpsxczxNFo The Warden is Ralph, begging us for his love(aka$$$)
  22. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/9/30/1722305/chris-kelsay-contract-details-lb-gets-10-raise Only the Bills would pay $5M per year for an old washed up role, character player who has average/below avg. talent. Great extension Buddy. But that is what Bills FO does, sign average coaches/players to big money when everyone else in the NFL knows there not worth a hoot. Cut him and spend elswhere next year, like LB for crying out loud.
