Unless he really lights it up he backs up Peterman and AJ if healthy. I want to see him play the entire 4th preseason game. What he needs is a lot of reps without making him play behind that awful offensive line in meaningful games yet.

Peterman starts preseason game 3 and gets 4 to 5 possessions with the ones. Allen comes in and gets at least 3 possessions with the ones and plays the whole second half. If Peterman looks good he is your game 1 starter. If he looks bad and Josh looks good, Josh starts game one. If they both look bad start with Peterman for 4 games. If they are 0-4 welcome to the Josh Allen era.

I would really like a full year of pro development or at least 10-12 games. I would make him inactive unless they have to activate because of injury. If he is ready, start him only if we are eliminated from the playoffs.

What about giving the Giants Shaq Lawson plus our 2 firsts and a second? I read it as a possibility somewhere.

I like a 4-3 and think Percy Harvin should get a look next season at minimum with incentives. Kick the tires and hope migraines stop.

This reminds me of the old Star Trek episodes when the guy who you did not recognize as a regular cast member, and you knew that Kirk was going to say "Damn it Jim, he's dead." It sucks when you are not a family member or regular to the Rex Ryan show cause YOU are one to go (no matter how good an actor/coach you are.)

No one will know anything until after the swelling goes down in a week. Everything else is pure speculation. I trust EJ will get 24hr treatment and he is very young and strong. QB is not as demanding as cb, wr, or rb, so, I hope sooner rather than later but, no one can say anything right now with the slightest sense of reliability . Just wait like everyone else and hope for the best.

Gary missed all his kicks on purpose. He did not want to play in Buffalo.

I think 4-12 but we will be more competitive. I can't see us winning any games in our division unless NYJ start Smith. There is a lot of false optimism but the reality is everyone got better but us. We have a lot of unpolished talent but it will be a while before that equals wins. I hope I am wrong. I am a huge fan and want the best but I am also a realist. I am not ready to drink the cool aid yet.
