He is all about the system and Tom Brady and nothing else. I hate anything from New England but if the player makes us better I am in. I don't however believe he is worth anything substantial and his age is an issue. He was nothing with the Dolphins and comes to NE and is great. I believe if he came here he would be average nothing. I wouldn't waste my time on him.

The thing I want to know is are we going to confuse the defense with motion. It is a lot harder to confuse an NFL defense so I hope our young college pup with the help of Marrone can learn to disguise intentions and not give away what we are going to run. I read somewhere they used very little motion at SU. I also am afraid that he will continually call the same play if it works. NFL defenses are to sophisticated to fall for the same plays like he did against WV.

I hate Brian Kelly for lying to the ND faithful. That being said I understand the temptation. He is just like Chip no NFL experience at all. He id known as more of an offensive minded coach yet our offenses were very average these three years. I just don't see why the NFL is interested.

I think the whole thing is predicated on solid NT depth. IF Troup comes back and they can draft a monster true NT than maybe. If not than forget it. We will get killed.

I don't think he is worth more than 4 million a year. I want him but not for 6 or 7 million that i ssimply to much.

He seems like a gamer to me. I want to see him after he has had a chance to work with some pro coaches to improve his fundamentals. He is the complete package though with a little grooming. Definitely a low first round grade imo.

It seems to me like Marrone is to lazy to hire a real OC. Carmichael is unavailable and actually hiring someone solid where Marrone would have to learn a playbook, he just figured I don't have the time. I will bring in this child from Syracuse with no experience at all calling plays at the pro level just so I won't have to learn a new offense. It is decisions like this that get Head Coaches fired. I hope I am wrong and I will be rooting for him to succeed but it seems like a bad choice to me.

I wish people would stop tearing this guy up. He is a good solid player. He and many of his teammates had a real bad game. It isn't easy with 49 days off. Nick Saban is much better at getting his team prepared. I think he will redeem himself at the senior bowl and combine and still be a high first round pick.
