Yeah when I saw the pick I envisioned the Ingram/Kamara backfield from the Saints a couple of years ago that was incredibly effective. waiting on my pick and I have settled on my guy. Which means I can probably make the pick for @Buffalo716 who is guaranteed to grab my guy lol.

There are lingering issues. First he is coming back from a major injury. Secondly he is staring at a large contract that he may or may not be worth. This is another it isn't what I would do but I certainly see the logic in it. They are a thunder and lightning combo both with the ability to be the feature back if the other one needs to be spelled. With the questions remaining around Jones this is the time to see if he is your guy or they need to restart with another qb.

TSW Mock Draft Bills Selection Poll - Round 1, Pick 30
section122 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you think it is worth it/possible to narrow it down now that favorites have been established? -
Easy pick here.... With the 15th pick the New England Patriots****** select Mac Jones, qb, alabama. NE really has a pretty strong roster outside of qb and bb's relationship with Saban will give them a ton of additional information. Jones was better than Tua and is going 10 picks later. A no brainer imo. Eagles and @Philo are on the clock.

I agree with both of you. I was just opining that I can see the logic and thought process of Chase. I think either would be a good choice but lean sewell just for positional importance.
-
They have a first round pick at lt in jonah williams and just signed riley rieff for rt. They have improved protection for Burrow and I think Chase is a logical pick that I could see happening. Reports out today are that Burrow is pushing for Chase as well. Obviously it's smoke screen season but that's a management thing not so much players.

Tom Brady signs 4 Year Extension (playing to 47)
section122 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brady cemented himself as a large part of that success but BB going 7-9 with that team was a damn miracle. He is an excellent coach and it was on full display last year. That cupboard was bare and Brady knew it. He knew he didn't have a chance at a sb with that team as it was constructed with their cap situation to boot. Add in the opt outs and that roster with another coach was top 5 pick worthy. BB didn't have the success Brady had last year obviously, but I don't think he did anything to diminish how good everyone thinks he is either. -
Jordan Poyer on Pat McAfee Show
section122 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Culture is created, cultivated, and maintained by leadership it is no secret. Poor/incompetent leaders may luck into being successful but it is generally because they hired someone who IS competent. Poor organizations have poor leadership. Yes from time to time one can get lucky but look no further than the Watson situation in Houston for poor culture directly stemming from leadership. The Ford family in Detroit, Snyder in Washington, etc. Good QBs can't hide all warts although it definitely helps. The change in Buffalo predated Allen's meteoric rise this year. You can even see it in the Bills/Sabres dynamic. The Pegulas struggled as owners, hired McBeane and that is when the ship righted. They have yet to find the right people for the Sabres which is why they continue to struggle. I think they learned a hard lesson with Rex and got lucky with McDermott (should have been hired by the Browns if their owner listened to his own people). -
Cost to attend game, Bills are #11 (lowest)

Perhaps op meant 11th cheapest? Scroll down -
26 awesome minutes. He's a great interviewer and McDermott was a lot more candid than usual.

Posting before I even watch this. Aaron Rodger's weekly stint on this show was can't miss radio. This is a really good show. Excited to listen!

Spot on. I think he takes way more flak than he deserves. As the Bills start paying people (which has already begun) wallace and players like him will become even more important to the sustained success of the Bills. He way outperformed being a udfa and 3 million is half of what norman got this year. No brainer imo. If they were to get 4 years production and a 2nd rounder that's also a win.

Even if the Bills win, he won't quit. It will turn into Mahomes wasn't himself, the Chiefs had a lot of distractions this week, or the team won in spite of Josh. He then immediately pivot to the NFC champ and how they will win and how happy they must be to be able to play the Bills. Loser franchise 4 straight losses blah blah blah. If the Bills win he will still double down. It's just the formula and not worth getting upset about. I used to love PTI and made sure to watch it each day. Then one day Wilbon said right as the segment began, I'm switching sides on this one you have the other side. It was a peek behind the curtain that I really hated to see. I don't know why it took until that moment for me to see it but now I can't unsee it. I get it, it would be boring tv if everyone agreed about everything, but I miss actual analysis instead of this fake outrage hot take "news" we get now.

I numbered so it was easier to respond. (I do understand it is you rehashing points) 1. That has been lacking all year. That led to 30.1 ppg. The Bills just missed out on being the highest scoring team in the entire league. If last weekend proved anything it is that the league has changed and you CAN win without a strong running game. 2. Lucky? Why lucky? The Bills are now a team that is feared offensively. With that comes teams pressing for tds and giving up sure points to go for it on 4th down. The defense since Hail Murray are opportunistic and returning to last year's form. 3. I disagree for the Colts game. They scored 27 points, Allen balled out, and they led the entire second half. If the defense played stronger run d in the 4th and the Bills win 27-10 you don't feel that way. For the Ravens game I will agree that 10 points is not a winning recipe.

You've got it half right. It is in the Bills best interest for this guy to keep mentioning the team. It is free marketing/advertising. Proving him wrong is even better. Put differently, what is better? This clown talking poorly about the Bills or nobody talking about the Bills? It is an act, he is playing a part for sure, but that act is just as beneficial for the Bills as it is for him.

Chargers to Hire Brandon Staley as HC (not Daboll)
section122 replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the texans get bienemy as a last ditch effort to keep watson. It looks like mcdaniels is the leader for philly. Consistency for Buffalo and great news for them. Hope Daboll goes on a revenge tour the next 2 games and next season showing everyone what they missed out on! -
Agreed that's too much money. My prediction is something similar to the norman deal in the 6 million range and he follows Saleh to the jets.

Jimmy Garoppolo headed back to the Patriots?
section122 replied to BITE ME's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This has been an obvious move so much so that I will actually be surprised if it DOESN'T happen. -
I quite colorfully made the same observation Saturday. something along the lines of "thats ***** right you tried to ***** cheat us and they still won the ***** game you ***** *****. You can't rob these ***** they don't ***** care they'll still win the ***** game" Hope the language filter catches all that lol. This team is just different.
