You asked me to call you crazy so I did that's all 🙂 On a serious note though yes it is only 7 spots but it is the difference of a 3rd rounder by the trade chart. You are giving up the 5th year option and need to have 7 guys you are comfortable with to make that move imo. Going from pick 10 to pick 17 isn't just 7 spots. If it was later in the draft I would agree with you but that high up in the draft that is more valuable than Zach Ertz imo. Zach Ertz of 2 years ago I wouldn't disagree at all and I am not totally against the idea as you said if he reworks the deal. That would be a must and I don't know that all of that can come together on the fly with the time constraints of the draft. It may already be agreed upon in principle if the Eagles player is there and just needs to be executed but I don't know if I buy that. I really like Ertz as a player but am concerned after what we saw last year. Is that who he is now or was that just a down year? -

You are crazy lol. The Bills don't have the money to pay Ertz 8 million per year and he isn't worth the 3rd round value this trade implies. Ertz will be traded for a 5th or later during the draft, cut the day after the draft, or on the Eagles next year. I think the Bills would love Ertz just not at his current price tag. -
I can. I'm still checking in regularly as I have a pick left. After @NeverOutNick makes his pick can some of you post your best available options for the Bills with name, position, and school please? @GunnerBill @Blokestradamus @MAJBobby @NewEra @glazeduck and anyone else I might have missed... I'll start it with 10 or so and narrow it down as we have leaders emerge.

With the 76th pick the Baltimore Ravens select Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse. @glazeduck and the Chargers are on the clock. Although both safeties will be returning for 2021, Cisco was a possible 1st rounder before an ACL injury cut short his season. The former ACC freshmen of the year brings playmaking skills to the position. 2 needs down 1 more to go for the Ravens. Here is a writeup: https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2021/4/11/22377585/ravens-2021-nfl-draft-profile-fs-andre-cisco

We have a trade! Giants are trading picks 11 and 76 to the Baltimore Ravens for Orlando Brown Jr, pick 27, and 58. With the 11th pick, the Bualtimore Ravens select DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama. The Eagles @Watkins101 are on the clock WR is a huge need and although Smith is slight is stature he is huge on production. Instead of waxing poetic, I'll let the pros do it... https://nflmocks.com/2020/11/13/2021-nfl-draft-devonta-smith-perfect-fit-baltimore-ravens/ In particular, Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith feels like a great fit for this team. The Ravens have built their offense around their rushing attack and deep passing game. While this has led to some success, they currently lack receivers who can make an impact in the short to intermediate range. Smith can make plays as a deep receiver, but he is more of a possession receiver who is going to do most of his damage as a reliable intermediate target. Smith is a tremendous route-runner who does a fantastic job of simply finding space in the defense. He can shake man coverage with ease and always seems to sit in the soft spots of the zone. Smith is a quick and explosive runner who is also an impact player with the ball in his hands. Smith can take a short pass and take it to the house from nearly anywhere on the field. The Baltimore Ravens currently lack a guy who can find a way to get open against any coverage on a consistent basis. On key third downs, they could certainly use a guy like Smith who will simply get open and make a play for their quarterback. Thank you to everyone I bombarded with trade requests but I wanted 1 of the top 3 guys and know the Eagles will be snatching one up.

@Virgil @TPS and I have made a trade. I pm'ed you for final approval.
-
Yeah i sent an offer but i would take bills in a heart beat

Want to be sure any tackle needy teams remember the ravens have orlando brown on the block.. @Virgil what are the rules for a player trade? It is very likely to happen at or before the draft. Can we just seek approval and work with you 2?

Bears, ravens, cardinals

Almost grabbed him for the patriots. Great pick!

With the 46th pick the New England Patriots select OG Wyatt Davis. The Chargers and @TPS are on the clock. 2 time All-American and unanimous selection last year. I was really hoping for Bateman or Marshall to fall here but it was not meant to be. Davis immediately helps bolster the line. This is a BPA pick as he and Shaq Mason are both RGs but one will have to flip. Onwenu can shift out to RT and Trent Brown to LT when Isaiah Wynn inevitably gets hurt (again). I think the Pats need a WR and DB (both S and CB - and BB LOVES 2nd round DBs) more but I just don't really see the value. Davis allows some flexibility next year with both OTs being Free Agents. Onwenu can cover RT and one can be brought back for LT while the other garners a comp pick (as is tradition).

As @GunnerBill stated Etienne is much more than a RB. He is more offensive weapon. Screens, dump offs, etc. I think Jones needs as many weapons as possible. They added Golladay already as a FA (another move I wasn't a huge fan of as I think he is overpaid at $18 per). Again I don't think I would have picked Etienne but I see the logic behind the decision.

Do the Bills have "their guy" picked out?

I can;t believe all of you forgot about this story: The Bills draft board WAS known due to an idiot employee. Including details of the trade up with Den for any of Allen, Darnold, and Mayfield. The only caveat to this is Mayfield had his visit 3 days after this so it may have played slightly with the board.
