I would be surprised if the Bills give Fitz this roster bonus. The cards seem to say he's going to be cut. Personally I hope he takes a pay cut and stays. I'm not sure that will happen though. I don't see any team paying him anywhere close to what he is scheduled to be paid here. Matter of fact, I don't see him getting more than 2 million as a backup somewhere. If he takes a pay cut here, it would save alot of cap space and possibly make room for another quality free agent signing.

Why? So he can come here and get paid for two years on a rebuilding team without a franchise quarterback? That is not a winning formula. The Bills need a quarterback, and then they need young receivers to grow with the quarterback. What's the point bringing in a guy that can hopefully play two more good years? I say no. Sign players that can play for more than a couple years.

Because the cornerbaclk position is more important than the guard position. Also, it's much easier to find a guard than it is to find a starting cornerback. It's a passing league and you can't have enough good cornerbacks. 5 million per year for a starting cornerback is a relative bargain in today's game. Whether you feel he's a good enough corner is another argument, but obviously the Bills brass must think that he is. I must say his play improved alot over the last part of the year. He was looking pretty good in man coverage situations. Also, what would a team pay for a great return man? Add that in the mix when you consider what he's now being paid and I like the signing.

He has no place in the new defense because the Bills didn't re-sign him. He's as good as gone.

I think picking a quarterback at 8th overall in this draft is a reach. Yes, the Bills need a quarterback, but reaching for one at number 8 can only set the franchise back further. The Bills should be able to draft a very good player at number 8 that can help the team immediately. Go defense, then get a quarterback later.

There is no quarterback in the draft worthy of the 8th overall pick. If they pick a quarterback with that pick, they prove that they are stupid.

This was a horrible signing by Nix. I could have seen it if he was given an incentive laden contract, but all that guaranteed money? What a blunder that was. Was there some other team out there competing to sign him? I really doubt it. makes one wonder why Nix gave him that contract. Makes me wonder about Nix.

I don't see Marrone adding 3-5 wins based on his coaching alone. This team is lacking talent at linebacker, strong safety, quarterback , wide reciever, cornerback. So I don't really agree on your assesment of talent on this team compared with good teams.

Why isn't anyone questioning if Brady might start to decline? He will be 36 when the season starts. He didn't look great against Baltimore either.
