He deserves to be paid and someone will pay him if the Bills won't. If this team wants to get better, they have to keep their best players. Isn't that what Nix promised to do? Keep our own?
The spin will be that this makes the team viable for the future in Buffalo. We really didn't need this extention to realize that winning was not the highest priority. Have you not witnessed the last 13 years?
Where do you get that scenario from my post? I was merely clarifying the point of the original thread post. But to comment on what you said....What Washington did in the draft was great. They got a franchise quarterback and a quality backup.Who wouldn't want that in Buffalo? Where Washington went wrong was playing a guy who was injured. A bad decision that falls on Shanahan. And every team rides their quarterback as far as he will take them. Nothing wrong with that at all. What was wrong was playing him when he was injured, not giving up three picks for a franchise quarterback. I would give up the entire draft for a franchise quarterback.
He gets suspended for a year for having a bounty system and Belicheat gets no time off for cheating. There could be a good argument made that what Belicheat did was far worse for the integrity of the game then what Williams did
We have two quarterbacks every year..whats your point? He was saying to draft two, not to just have two. None of your examples were drafted in the same draft class, as was the point in his post.
He would restructure because he knows no other team will pay him what he's getting paid now. And he likes it here. His best bet would be to restructure as opposed to being cut. Even you admit he got way more here than he would have gotten anywhere else. I don't know who he would back up. Maybe Alex Smith, maybe a rookie. I just know he's not going to be the starter here.
You have a red #68 at left guard. Are You assuming that Levitre is definately going to leave? Also, You have yellow for all the linebackers...they should be red. Seriously, only 3 red areas on this roster? You're much to kind.
Ray Lewis was not tried or convicted of " a lot worse". The Pats were not just accused of cheating, they were convicted of cheating. They were actually caught cheating. Big difference.
