  1. The Bills haven't drafted enough quarterbacks to make a lemon drop.
  2. Play on a winner, but if I was 37 again, I might feel differently
  3. How can you say they didn't need him anymore? Look at the roster. Of course they wanted to keep him. I think it came out that they wanted to drop him to 3 millioan with the possibility of incentives to take him back up to around 7. If he renegotiated, it would have helped the cap too. It was in both of their interest to restructure. He refused to take a paycut. It was hurt feelings. In my opinion, with the way he played, he practically stole 21 milion from the team already. No one was going to pay him to start on any other team. He played a game of chicken with the Bills knowing that they were in a bad situation. He lost, the Bils cut him. How much will I be paid and can I make that money working somewhere else? Especially if I knew I had just been paid way more than I was worth for two years and did not do a very good job leading the project.
  4. He was too damn stubborn to just renegotiate his deal here. If he had, he probably would be making more money than he is getting from Tennessee. His ego just couldn't allow him to take a pay cut here. He showed his true colors with this move if you ask me.
  5. I would think there would be plenty of hotel space in a big tourist spot like Niagara Falls
  6. Yes, I'm up gettiung drunk worrying about who the Bills will pick with the number one pick next year. Too much bud Lite.
  7. Why are there so many posts pleading with the Bills to take some action in free agency?
  8. Good point. The Bills are much too busy with Pro days to take time out and focus on free agents. Please, they can't be two places at once! They are not gods people!!
  9. If they built a retractable dome stadium in Niagara Falls, might it attract a Superbowl some day?
  10. Anyone who thinks this year wil be anything but bad is fooling themselves. Heck, even the Bills brass must know it. Build up the defense and get the quarterback next year.
  11. Yes, the glory years with Joe Dufek
  12. Speaking of the Lions, how did Schwartz escape the axe after that brutal season?
  13. My guess is that they are not signing players because the moving vans will be much easier to fill and much cheaper
  14. It's a tough time to be a Bills or Sabres fan.
  15. They are stuck now. It's not the time, as Buddy said, to need a quarterback. How this team did not draft a quarterback in the last two years is beyond me. That being said, what to do now? Maybe the answer is to NOT draft a quarterback this year, and do what Indy clearly did last year. Tank. As hard as it would be to go through another miserable season as a fan, it would be far worse to draft a quarterback number one who turns out to be a bust. Maybe go get a guy like Kolb.
  16. You're wrong here. Fitz flat out refused to take a pay cut. Of course he would have competed with whoever was brought in here. He just did not want to accept a pay cut. Period. And on a further note, that decision was made long before the Nix telephone fiasco.
  17. More realistically, you're probably right. Then what happens to this franchise?
  18. While reading your post, I looked up and I realized that I still had a magnet with the Bills 2007 schedule attached to my file cabinet. it just made me think how nothing changes with this organization. They try to change the recipe, they bake it different ways, but they end up with the same old result. Garbage Stew.
  19. It would be nice if the Bills got some good results for a change.
  20. It's written a bit incoherently. Runs together and becomes confusing because punctuation needs to be used correctly. So basically grammar.
  21. Do you really think Barkley falls that far?
  22. I wonder if Pettine has any inside information as to why the Bills are wooing No One
  23. Actually they didn't sign Byrd, they tagged him.
