  1. 48 dude, but in in record time (i think 9 minutes); either way, he's a savant. Always a good thing to have brain power at that position.
  2. and the always upbeat Barbarian checks in
  3. Why? Because we're FANS!!! I live near a bunch of Steeler's Clones, they do it too; all fans everywhere do it. It's why the NFL is so popular, teams become part of a local identity. Go anywhere, say you're from Buffalo, and very soon the subject of the BIlls will come up. Our teams become part of the DNA of our local culture. Why do small towns across America shut down on Friday nights? Because the local HS team is "our" team, the names may change each year, but they will always be our team. By the way, take a drive out of the city or suburbia, find a relatively successful small town high school team, and go to a Friday night game (preferably the Homecoming game). It reminds you why you love the game, and this country.
  4. a true fan!
  5. just did a search on my android for Skyfire, was it the free one or the $2.99 app?
  6. Amen! Thank you to all of you . . . I hope the Bills give you something to cheer about on Sunday.

  8. Great job, thanks for sharing your observations . . . lets hope Sharpe is on point with this. And I think he's right about the linebackers. I believe the Bills have made a philosophical decision to go with the older veterans versus some of the inexperienced, but more athletic younger guys. Hopefully those guys will come along and we can mix in that speed and athleticism as the season progresses--and this weekend might be the time to get serious about it.
  9. after this weekend, there will be 7 Bills in the top 10 !!!!!
  10. OK, I'm not a Bruschi fan, but I just read the article and don't see the angst towards him. He's fair, gives respect where it is deserved, and deals with the obvious . . . until we beat them, they will always be the favorite. "To be the best, you have to beat the best." When we do this weekend, then we can give him the
  11. Look, it can't help them, but they're good, and have depth. Nonetheless, I say "advantage Bills" up the middle.
  12. "At 22, when my first live-in girlfriend told me she loved me for the first time, I looked her in the eye and said, "I love the Bills." (True story)" That, is true love!
  13. It's what you get with him. Chances will be taken, but "no risk, no reward." To put it in perspective, with Trent Edwards, that throw would never been made, we probably would never have been close to having the opportunity to make that throw. He had just opposite weakness, too tentative, not daring, never took a risk. In the end, which one gets the better results? Yeah, there will be occasional gaffs, but with the risk comes the potential for great reward.
  14. good analysis, I like what the number say = basically, we're even
  15. actually, he's Mennonite
  16. How come the Bills freak'in marketing department didn't anticipate this and have Darren Nelson jerseys ready to sell !!!!! Can you believe those guys?
  17. however he lines up, I expect that his touches will increase . . . I think its a safe bet he'll be utilized as a wideout, in the slot, and from the backfield, and the more diverse, the better--keep them guessing
  18. clearly a project, but may have the tools, but needs a lot of sharpening
