  1. YUUUP! I like Hogan and his story, he's a PreSeason All-Pro, "but all I am saying is, give Easley chance "
  2. Well, we get rid of our starting Punter (and that was the right move), and Brian Mooreman comes back and looks like an All-Pro. He again, is the best player wearing the Bills logo. He sends a moonshot when it is needed most with the team pinned deep in their own territory, and two Bills coverage guys miss play it by over running him trying to make a spectacular play instead of insuring they contain him. Boom, 29 yards later, an the game is over on one stupid play. I don't even know his name, but if Marrone is high on holding people accountable, is it time to make our Special Teams Coach accountable? Generally, our kick coverage has been bad all year, and you can't blame it on the punter this week. I think this is at a critical level, it directly cost us a game today. Someone has to be held accountable for the poor play of the kick coverage team this year, and the time is now.
  3. yes, why are we waste space and time on this thread?
  4. honestly, I didn't think it worthy of a penalty, and certainly not a fine
  5. he's the consummate professional, wish we had more like him
  6. stinks to be you
  7. The mistake was not getting a deal done with Rhienhart when they realized there was no hope with Levitre. He was not far behind Levitre or Urbik, and is much better then what we have now, and most importantly, could have been had at a far better price then Levitre--not a ceap price, but more realistic and affordable. And most important, he could play!
  8. Yes, the fail here was not having a reliable veteran QB ready in case something happened to EJ (meanwhile, keeping an injured kicker on the roster--that alone is bothersome, but doing it with only one backup QB???). Well, it happened, and it was quickly seen that Tuel wasn't ready. Hopefully the lesson is learned.
  9. sure, and throw in Wood too, and maybe Alonzo if they don't bite on the first two All-pros
  10. technically, he did not "hold out" . . . effectively, he "held out," and still is, with the superficial foot injury thing . . . And, if I did trade him, I'd trade him to Jacksonville for whatever they'd take for him
  11. two things: 1 - Who/When did they say Byrd was being traded? 2 - Tebow, baggage and all, would be a good fit for this team right now: He would certainly provided some energy/buzz and hope. Is he the longterm answer? No! But as was pointed out, his leadership and awkwardness would probably get a few wins in the short term.
  12. last year
  13. yuuup, nothing more to say
  14. no surprise here, I think they've been waiting for him to get healthy, and not soon enough
  15. But, the Bengals also suck on offense, we'll see that is also a great mystery
  16. I'm with you, he seemed like the logical choice all along. Except that Marrone said he wasn't last week, why would we be confused ??? Anyhow, I DO think he gives us the best chance to win, and certainly Pat White was not a step up or over him. Come on, when it comes to learning and processing information, no offense WVU alums, but I'll take a Duke guy over a WV guy any day.
  17. As we've thrown less passes downfield then last year, this would have been a very sensible option. But so far, as much as I like some aspects of the new regime, their handling of the QB situation--ever since Kolb & Manuel were both hurt in pre-seaon--has been an epic fail. Once Kolb went down, we had no plan B, and still don't. Well, lets hope Pat White is a miracle worker . . . the biggest question for him, how fast a learner is he? Answer: Wonderlick Score = 22, ouch
  18. we better hope, because as of this morning, the BIlls still don't have a capable backup
  19. pathetic! Nassib, Flynn, Gradkowski, etc., we are not serious here, right? .... an all-pro safety for guys who will probably be cut before next season starts, yeap, the formula for building a championship team.
  20. this !!! Tuel should have been there from the start, injuries have messed up the QB position (especially back-up) sense training camp, but it's time to get it fixed.
  21. So, with all this focus on getting a new QB, we're heard nothing about a punter. And as we saw in Cleveland, a bad punter can cost you a game quicker than a walk into the kitchen to resupply the chip bowl. Any hints?
  22. Sign Freeman! Do whatever it takes! He can start right now, and dare I say it, he may even be an upgrade from EJ (at least for this season).
