  1. ah, how's that working out for ya?
  2. My pick is 4.5: I think the Jets D will get a few as well, Rex has said he will bring the heat. But I think the Jets have to throw the ball more than the Bills to score (the BIlls have a better run game to work with to help neutralize the pass rush). And with Geno's tendencies to hold it, five or more is a real, and necessary, possibility. If it's is less than four, the Bills may be in trouble.
  3. I'm with you, Dierdorf is a human drone machine .... I'm sure they use his nonstop talking about nothing and the obvious as torture at Guantanamo Bay.
  4. So Barbarian, I know its early, but I'm still not getting the Jonny Football as the 1st pick -- it it time to update the draft board?
  5. What ? We could have had Skelton for Mario !
  6. great point .... that would be huge .... let's hope he continue on at this high level and the draft can be used for other needs he will be soon
  7. Or Orakpo ..... ugh Anyhow, I was having a great day, why did you have to say the M word?
  8. So a follow-up question: Does this designation put him out for the season? Or, if he heals, can he comeback this season? And someone ask if he can play LG, I think he did play Guard some last season---I think, but I could be very much wrong about that. Anyhow, if he can come back from the injury, I say give him a serious look at left guard.
  9. "Even more impresssive is the Bills are doing this while having played the most defensive plays in the NFL through 2 weeks, at 165, which gives the opposition an advantage in potentially tiring out the D and also a greater chance of breaking a big play." So the only Defense this new fast-paced Offense of the Bills that is getting tired out is our own . . . and that cannot continue, or the Defense is playing with fire, and it will be worn down by the middle of the season. #SlowItDownOnOffense !!!!
  10. that's what dogs do, they pee on everything they sniff IF, he outplays Smith this weekend, AND the Bills win, they will have to break their vows of silence, AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, admit they were "wwwwwwwrrrong."
  11. I would suspect the aggressive pass rush has a lot to do with the unexpected early season success of the secondary. Which gives us hope that it could be even better with Gilmore and Byrd, etc.
  12. that's fair
  13. great video, but as a few already said, not as much talking as I expected to hear
  14. The ones I like the most (because these translate into efficiency and less turnovers) . . . Cordy is now PFF's 2nd-ranked overall LT. Pears is 11th ranked RT EJManuel is tied for 2nd with Cutler and Dalton for least-sacked with 1. Sam Bradford is first. EJManuel3 5th in completion percentage behind Dalton, Romo, Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers. But two things standout the other way: We need to get more....how about just "some".....production out of the TE position Although having 100 yards Sunday, Spiller needs to be more productive for the team to be successful over the long haul.
  15. Sad, and interesting. Question: HOw do you think the Patriots will handle this? Do you think they will cut him in light of all the Arron Hernandez stuff and the accusations they didn't act soon enough with him?
  16. this
  17. Yeah, Byrd has quickly gone from our of our favorites to the TBD doghouse, and he fully deserves it. .... No one believes he's hurt so badly he can't play. Only he really knows, but again, no one believes him. When you lose trust, you lose the relationship. For Byrd, he's lost the relationship with the Bills fan, and I suspect with his teammates as well. Sad.
  18. and this may be best thing
  19. and add the potential of Goodwin, and FA's Hogan and Robey ..... a good rookie class (I know, technically, Hogan isn't a rookie).
  20. Concerning this thought, #11: "Marcus Easley needs to be on the field ahead of TJ Graham. Easley is a playmaker, or could be." I agree, and I would add Hogan, did you notice he was on the field on the winning score. I hope both he and Easley see the field more, Easley is a big and fast target, and Hogan was open all pre-season
  21. Funny, our biggest question mark in the D backfield going into the season is now our best player back there. He has stepped up. As for Pettine and the Defense: Fitz took all the grief, but the real culprit for the putrid last few seasons has been the defensive coaching (and play, or lack of play). That change, more than anything, is why this team will be competitive and win games this season.
  22. Both were just stupid, stupid, stupid plays.
  23. He's a grinder .... Stevie is never going to be a Charles Johnson / Larry Fitzgerald type of player ..... but he grinds, and every once in a while he'll break off a long run. That's how he has to play, and that's when he's most effective.
  24. The Homerun throwback--the Illegal--play came to my mind at the end of the game. Same scenario. But, did you notice it was another outstanding rookie that prevented anything from happening, Alonzo on the sack to end the game!!!!! (I know he had a little help, was it Moats?)
