  1. Typical knee-jerk, uninformed fan reaction. Get a clue.
  2. Apparently, he's not. Maybe all the junior psychologists on this board should find another line of work. He said on his conference call that it was his dream to be drafted into the NFL, it was a great feeling to be going to the Bills, he really liked Buffalo on his visit because it had a laid back feel to it like the town he was from, the Bills have great fans, and he's ready to get to work. Yeah, sounds like just the type of guy this team doesn't need. Talented and high character.
  3. As has been stated previously, it was a very good, solid pick of need. Not the "sexy" pick. The Bills still have NINE PICKS to address WR, OT, & LB. The D-line is set and the O-line, while needing some depth and a probable upgrade at LT, is solid at the other starting positions. You people bitching about everyone who doesn't hate the pick like you and calling them "apologists" are absolutely pathetic.
  4. 1: Ryan Tannehill QB - MIAMI 2: Michael Floyd WR - ARIZONA 3: Courtney Upshaw OLB - NY JETS 4: David DeCastro G - CINCINNATI 5: Luke Kuechly LB - KANSAS CITY
  5. You don't recall correctly. 2010 was soooooooooo long ago: http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2010121901/2010/REG15/bills@dolphins#menu=highlights&tab=recap
  6. They're neck-in-neck with Atlanta as the worst pro sports city in America. Both are full of pathetic front-running, fair-weather fans. Bills fans should hope Miamuh takes Tannehill. I think the Fish will be picking in the top 10 again next year and will be looking at Barkley or one of the other elite QB prospects if they don't land this overrated guy.
  7. Thursday night can't get here fast enough...
  8. In their latest Mock Draft on Friday, Sirius NFL Radio's Pat Kirwin & Tim Ryan had the Bills taking Floyd in the 1st Round & David in the 2nd Round. I don't believe that too many people here would be overly disappointed if that actually happened.
  9. Sorry, but you're way off here. Whitner & Maybin can't even hold Barron's jock. He's the real deal.
  10. So how exactly does that change the fact that the league could've put them in prime time as the AWAY team if they thought the Bills were going to be so good? I still say the fact that they got several home games at the end of their schedule is more of a fluke/coincidence/scheduling quirk than any indication that the league thought they might be "good".
  11. I disagree. If that were the case, they would've been given at least one more prime time game other than just the one Thursday night game that is now mandatory for every team, IMO. The schedule is what it is. I don't think there's any deeper meaning behind it. Some years it looks better than others. Look at Atlanta's schedule. No consecutive home or away games. They alternate home and away every week of the season. Bizarre, but that's just how it turned out for them this year.
  12. I've had a gut feeling lately that it's going to be Gilmore. I don't know why, just a hunch. That being said, I'm sure I'm wrong. No matter the choice, I just hope it proves to be the right one.
  13. I'm sure the vast majority of this board will be watching, schedules permitting. If you're that torn, why not watch one and DVR the other? You can go back and sift thru for any Bills commentary.
  14. Decent is the point I was trying to make, Bill, not the falling apart part. I was trying to reference a former Buffalo tackle who was serviceable but not great. Outside of Kalil, any LT prospect they get may turn out to be just that. Decent and no more. Then again, they may uncover a diamond in the rough. In any event, there's no doubt that they'll be drafting someone to play LT and they need to figure out who and when to take him. That's what Buddy and his scouts are paid to do. Here's to hoping they make the right decision. Only time will tell...
  15. So, you're pretty much saying you're hopeless. Based on your post, I'd concur. If you said you had no clue, I'd concur with that, as well. Try not to get too upset if the Bills go offense against your wishes. I'm sure Buddy Nix knows more about what this team needs than you, I, or anyone else on this board. GO BILLS!!!
  16. This is more or less how I see this, too, John. It's unlikely that Buddy breaks character and trades up for Kalil. Unfortunately, for the Bills, there aren't more "sure fire" types at LT in a year that the position happens to be one of their top, if not top, priorities. That said, does he deem one of the remaining o-line prospects worthy of the 10th pick? To me, none of these guys will be great left tackles but it doesn't mean they won't be an upgrade for the Bills. I believe Nix would be okay with the thought that he ended up with a John Fina type. Certainly not great, but serviceable to above average. JMO
  17. Self-deprecation. Outstanding!
  18. Newbies. lol Ditto.
  19. That was going to be mine. I'll also say: - Scott Chandler will have double digit TDs. - The Senator will be wrong (again) and the Bills will not go 19-0. Mercury Morris will once again pop some champagne and snort a pound of coke.
  20. Jasper should've told the little mop head in that photo, "No pics until you take off that dopey jersey."
  21. I guess since the Pats* didn't sign him he's overpaid, right Silva? BTW, no mention of Demetress Bell?? Whatever. Nothing to see here.
  22. Nice to see some positivity on this board for a change. Nice job, Tipster. Glad to see that you're on the mend.
  23. A lot of the cynical people on this board, for starters.
