  1. Colts - They've beaten some of the best teams in the league this year...the 49ers on the road as well as the Seahawks & Broncos at home. They also beat the Chiefs in KC a couple of weeks ago. I've said all year that the Chiefs are paper tigers and I'm sticking to it. Colts win at home. Saints - I don't like the Saints on the road, especially in a cold weather stadium, but they have a good enough D and the weapons on O to edge out the Iggles who won arguably the weakest division in football. Saints win on the road in a close one. Bengals - They're just a better all-around team and are capable of getting on a roll. They're at home and the Chargers did everything in their power last week to try and back out of the playoffs against the Chiefs reserves. Bengals win at home. Packers - Solely for the 'Aaron Rodgers Factor'. Logically, the 49ers are the pick and the better team but Rodgers flips the script here. With a game under his belt along with top WR Randall Cobb, the Pack can get on a roll, as well. Packers win at home.
  2. "Coach, with the league trending towards athletic, big-play tight ends, the offense in need of an upgrade, and the likely departure of Scott Chandler, will drafting a tight end of that type be one of your top priorities or will you be content to stay with limited-potential spare parts such as Tony Moeaki and Lee Smith?" or "Coach, it's well documented that CJ Spiller was plagued by a high ankle sprain for much of the season; however, when healthy, he appeared to be miscast in this offense. One thing your predecessor did very well was utilizing CJ to his full potential. Will you and Nathaniel Hackett be revamping your schemes to take advantage of your most explosive and dynamic play-maker?"
  3. Not true. The NHL overtime rules differ greatly from the way the game is played in regulation. They play four on four in overtime versus five on five in regulation. The overtime period is only five minutes versus twenty minutes in regulation. Then they go to a shootout which is nothing at all like anything in regulation. That's akin to the NFL playing an overtime that is only 25% of its regulation quarters with approximately 20% fewer players on the field then going to a FG kicking contest if the fewer number of players in the shortened session can't manage to score.
  4. Just threw four votes your way.
  5. I suddenly and inexplicably have the urge to lap up some milk...
  6. Maybe this will help: http://members.tripod.com/g_host/dc_billsbars.html Haven't been to Grevey's in years but it used to be awesome back in the day...never been to Jimmy's Old Town Tavern but I know some here have and said it's good...don't know anything about McFadden's. Good luck & GO BILLS!!!
  7. This is easy as Pi. The winner of this game will prevail by 3.14...
  8. Um...the Cheatriots* won. BTW, what is "the unthinkable"? The Bills forfeit before kickoff? Other than that, nothing is unthinkable. Just look at the first seven weeks of this season. It's been proven that anything can and does happen in the NFL every week.
  9. Put down the crack pipe my toothless friend.
  10. Fantasy football implications only. Go Blair Walsh! lol
  11. EJ is still hurt Thad Lewis squishes the fish The Bills get a win
  12. $6.9 million, to be exact. But why let facts get in the way of a good, irrational rant...
  13. Link??? Good God. ^^^ This. I work with a guy who is as big a die-hard Vikings fan as most of the posters on this site are die-hard Bills fans. He's not a "homer" or the "I've heard of him...sign him!" type. He's a very level-headed, insightful, intelligent football fan. He told me on more than one occasion that Tarvaris Jackson was awful. He was happy to see him leave the Vikes. My brother-in-law is in that same camp. He grew up in South Dakota and lived many years in Minneapolis, a lifelong Minnesota fan living and breathing Vikings football. Jackson is not, was not, and will not be the answer. If he's so great, why could he not stick in Minnesota as a backup? If he's so great, why was Seattle willing to let him go the first time for a mere 7th Round draft choice? If he's so great, why could he not even see the field for the Bills? Maybe his umpteenth chance will finally be the one where he settles in and finds a home with the Seahawks long-term but I wouldn't bet on it. He's nothing more than a bad backup like a bunch of others currently on NFL teams and slightly better than the myriad of street FAs still hanging on for a shot. Please stop the "we should never have let Tarvaris Jackson go" diatribe. It's ridiculous overreaction to a tough loss last night and embarrassing to boot.
  14. I'm sure he'll want the Bills to count as a divisional win come end of the year when they're trying to get into the playoffs. They're 2-0 so he can say what he wants but they're no juggernaut at this point. They could just as easily be 0-2 and looking up at the rest of the division had the Bills not repeatedly shot themselves in the foot and had Geno Smith not thrown three inopportune INTs. Two divisional wins by a total of five points against two teams picked by many to be amongst the worst in the NFL. Color me unimpressed but, by all means, carry on, Vince.
  15. It's about time you questioned my football acumen but please don't question my character...it can be found in the link below. Perhaps you can find some character for yourself: http://animatedtv.about.com/od/showsaz/tp/top50chrctrs.htm As far as dressing goes, any of these will do: http://www.convatec.com/products/wound/product-type/pl-92fd43ac-8ab5-4b8a-8c72-09e485969eef/
  16. I'd weigh in but, alas, I don't have a scale... If I must take a side, I'll take a side salad...
  17. Better one...better two? Better one...better two?
  18. "What are we eating tomorrow?" Hopefully, for NE* and their fans, it's CROW!!! Eat like the rest of the group. Just spit on it and get back in the game...it's football!!! Just snacky/appetizer type stuff and some Blue Lights. LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!
  19. What did you expect? The Bills have sucked forever and the national media has been ballwashing Brady & Co.* forever now, as well. Be prepared if the Bills win...all you'll hear is what the Pats* did wrong and not what the Bills did to win. "Off day" for NE*, blah, blah, blah. I'll take the over on all. The next time Marshall Faulk says anything funny, intelligent, or interesting, it will be the first. He's one of the most useless wastes of oxygen employed by the NFL Network. Maybe those "fans" can hang out with the handful of d-bags who still think it's cool to wear an O.J. jersey.
  20. GAME DAY IN 'THE RIC', BABY!! LET'S GO BILLS!!!
  21. That would be a typical Bills move...declare that Brad Smith will be the Week 1 starter AFTER already having put him on IR. Brilliant.
  22. That's a shoulder patch, at best. If they EVER change to that, I'll beat you over the head with it...(j/k).
  23. Nice. After all of the bad news coming out of OBD, lately, the title of your thread made me laugh. Whether your pun was intended or not, good job.
