  1. How many more wins with a healthy Watkins and Woods all season?
  2. it's not killer instinct they need. it's called being good enough to beat a good team once they wake up and have made adjustments to our game.
  3. agree completely with this. probably the most alarming thing I saw was the absolute lack of hurry up urgency at the 8:00 mark. why were they not instructed to run a hurry up offense? are they not capable of running it? if so, why not? they basically seemed to give up without making a decent effort. piss poor.
  4. man what a solid game!! impressive drives with no answers so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. the lead singer from Greenday will be his stunt double https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMTM0NTg4MDUwN15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTYwOTcyOTU0._V1_UX214_CR0,0,214,317_AL_.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0035626/&h=317&w=214&tbnid=695bPiUzAMWUFM:&vet=1&tbnh=160&tbnw=108&docid=S7Iu2sVUEtKz7M&itg=1&usg=__5u5pf1NThtIq7PZJhichkVThzdk=&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjWxrXj49HQAhVi04MKHVtsD7UQ_B0IIjAB
  6. i don't care how much help the bills need- injuries, upsets, teams choking, etc. as long as they can make it over the playoff line.
  7. I went into this game with a bad feeling because it seems like they always play badly first game after thanksgiving. sure enough, they have lost 4 out of their last 5 games after thanksgiving. i am hoping that they will target justin hunter more often. what a reach. seems like a natural possession receiver.
  8. i hear you but the bills have played much better than today's game.
  9. if they play like they did in seattle they can beat anyone on the remaining schedule
  10. i was absolutely furious that they passed the ball in their final possession as well as the possession before that. especially on the first two downs! the running attack was working like a charm, the bengals d-line was dog tired, our O-line was dominating them, and we were down to zero experienced wide receivers. they should have ran and ran and ran until the bengals proved that they could have stopped them. it would have put the game away a lot sooner. problem with the pass is that you become committed to the pass if you are staring at a third and long. gives the defense the advantage. absolutely no excuse for not running the ball the first (2) downs or the last (2) possessions
  11. It all started with the most recent owner, Tom Ricketts, who bought the Cubs and brought them out from under the Wrigley / Tribune corporate umbrella. Ricketts had a vision for the Cubs that included deals with the city for zoning and construction that allowed him to increase their revenue streams. With that revenue he sought the best of the best for his organization including team manager, general manager, executive VP and of course free agent players. Ricketts took over in 2009 and it took him (7) years to build a champion. As long as the Bills have a proactive owner interested in building a winner there will be hope.
  12. The problem is that Taylor's most glaring weakness is killing the offense. He is woefully inaccurate on short possession passes (most sail high of target) and it stops drives dead in their tracks, gives the ball to the other team, and makes it more difficult to score TDs in the red zone. When your offense is based on the run game, you need to complete the third and short plays. It isn't happening and the team cannot be competitive against playoff caliber teams.
  13. You lost me at sentence one. I did not expect a win but I thought they would be more competitive than they played, which was not really competitive at all. Tyrod's passes were inaccurate, about half of them were thrown high- so high that charles clay injured his shoulder coming down from one of those off target disasters. many were short, and while some were on the numbers, about half of them were dropped (which is attributable to not being full strength). the high passes were doubly critical because they killed drives and gave brady back the ball. when your offense runs on two downs, your QB needs to be accurate enough to complete a short possession pass to keep the drive alive. he wasn't and usually isn't. The inexcusable penalty bug hit again. sloppy and not competitive. playcalling was questionable, especially on the opening drive in the red zone, (of which penalties also hurt their cause). They totally squandered that drive with poor playcalling and execution. The defensive secondary was so inept it was laughable. More blown coverages and lopsided matchups (darby on gronk) to add insult to injury, the receiver we got rid of burned our supposed ace cornerback. It was a putrid, half assed, disorganized lopsided effort IMHO.
  14. OK you convinced me, cut the mofo!
  15. I vote you as winner of the best avatar award.
  16. But unfortunately even a QB is but one part of the puzzle. See Colts, Ravens and Chargers.
  17. I agree he is a good starter and we need to hold on to him for now. What I meant about his leadership is that he does not command the offense or act decisively at the line of scrimmage. He doesn't make the receivers better or seem to hold them accountable like other QBs did / do. I know he has a winning record but he has yet to win us a game in the final minutes.
  18. the bills at full strength would have won yesterday?
  19. Very few teams have won a championship without an elite, franchise QB. The ravens, the bucs and most recently the broncos. But it took an incredibly awesome defense to compensate. I can understand where the Bills and other teams are going-ground and pound with solid defense- because there just aren't that many elite QBs to go around. But they need to keep looking (hard) and hope to eventually land one.
  20. He isn't a leader, game winner or close to being an elite QB. The Bills need to keep looking.
  21. you are missing the point. think about it. who is accountable for the roster? the fact that hogan burned the bills is icing on the cake to the point of ridiculous roster management but it is far from the only reason. the person accountable for the roster should be highly embarrassed.
  22. two wongs don't make a white.
  23. it is but the receivers had the bills coverage beat, often embarassingly wide open (which is possibly coaching related). i mean hogan beat gilmore flat out.
  24. once again, whaley has failed to field players that are competitive with the best in our division. gilmore, darby and robey coleman are a farce of a matchup against gronk, edleman, and now (believe it or not) hogan!
