Agree. For meat and potato guys it really has gone overboard... catering to the novice fan. Understand --> $$$. But I liked it when it was on Tuesday back in the 80's. 5 AM back here on the WEST Coast. Couldn't sleep at all before the 87 draft. We ended up getting Shane Conlan. I enjoy the combine as well and can listen to Mayock (Meat and Potatoes) but don't need to hear Eisen (Jello). Too much fluff. If you are demented enough to watch and record the combine, like me, you don't want to hear jokes about "Football on a stick" and "When are Johnny, Manti, Jameis or Michael Sam speaking to the media ?" Just not my cup of tea

I would love to see a baller like Trey Flowers in rd. 3 but he may be more of a 4-3 WLB, if not strictly a 4-3 DE... but really like him. I think we need safety depth as well Just watched some tape sent by my son on SS's Sample from Louisville and Campbell from N'Western. They look like they could displace Duke... possibly, in time. Shaq would be awesome. Rex would find a way to get him on the field of play.... somewhere. Got to see him a lot here on the Left Coast. He is just a great football player who you want on the field.... Big upgrade over a Searcy, as far as your top 11 defensive players goes. Afraid he won't be there, however. We might be looking to trade down to grab a 4th with so many solid linebackers in this draft. Excited this year boys and girls !!!

Though I can't even stand listening to him talk or watching him on the sidelines, if we had the #1 pick We'd already be lining up to buy his jersey. If you don't have an elite QB your #1 mission is to get an elite #1 QB. He could be a bust naturally, but you must get your guy when the opportunity presents itself.
