  1. Hello, this is Jerry Jones. Can you let the guy in Cell Block C know that we drafted him in the seventh round ?
  2. 1980/81 charging Bills man.. I miss 1980.... we were a sprained ankle by Fergie from easily winning SB XV (?).Born in 1960 but and went to first game in '65 but still prefer charging logo.
  3. Yep. Scoring points and keeping drives going...Major !! If there were 12 Doctson' 'types' in this draft we could, of course, wait. But IMHO there is but one and there are at least a dozen DLers. I think we'll go defense, as most do, but my goodness April 28 would be a good day for the offense and the team if we drafted Josh Doctson.
  4. Haven't gone back to read the many pages on this subject so I might be debating one that's already been put to bed, but even though most draft sites having us go defense, defense, defense, .. I wouldn't mind WR as long as it's the best one AND I don't think it's even close. Josh Doctson is by far the best WR and if he goes to a coaching staff and QB that are competent, he is going to be a star. IMO it is Doctson.... and then the next guy. Why he doesn't get the love as the best I really don't know. I know 95 % of y'all would be screaming if we got him @ #19 but he would be the most polished receiver.. Day 1, on this roster. We have more pressing needs and I'm not saying that's who Whaley should pick but the guy is very, VERY good. Go Bills !!
  5. Looks like our roster shows only 4 players with the last name Williams. I know it's pre-draft and UDFA but still a little worried about our Williams depth. Any word from Whaley on this matter ? He's got his Clemson/Florida St. quota taken care of.Might be time to "Reach" to fill a need. Need help all ye DraftNiks.
  6. Which is what he shoulg get if we draft him... until Tyrod's little body finally breaks down.
  7. Maybe they give out trophies such as "The Mel Kiper Award" to the teams accumulating the best talent during the draft. Guess we're a lock. The great Bill Russell was asked one year when the Celtics had a better regular season record but lost to another team , how it felt to lose in five games to a team that you were better than. His response was that the team with the most points is the better team, isn't that why you play the game ? I have always remembered that ... in my 17 years of coaching, I never forgot that AND he was the 1st one to articulate (way before his time), "Scoreboard, Baby". So I agree with you BillsVet it really is that simple.
  8. Under someone's post of Paxton Lynch to #19 and somebody moving up and giving us extra picks-----> Take Paxton Lynch. Tyrod is an injury waiting to happen and we don't have a backup worth crap.. Take Lynch don't accumulate picks. We have enough picks to get good players throughout this draft. If you pass & you don't trade down, I think the Jets would take him.
  9. I like Cravens in the 2nd and Cyrus Jones would be better than Robey.. if we could get in the 5th or 6th. The rest .. not so much esp. Morrison
  10. Best 1. Jalen Ramsey with Myles Jack a close second. Just re-watched the Florida St. v. Houston game and Ramsey was awesome and mean, even in a losing effort Bust 1A. Darron Lee. An athlete but he really has no position in this league . 1B. Sheldon Rankins. Short and he is quick but no counter move. 1C Leonard Floyd. Such a thin frame. Can he really do much against NFL linemen ? Sleeper: 1A. Devon Cajuste WR Stanford. Size hands and more than adequate speed. 1B Yannick Ngakoue OLB Maryland good size and strength. Hope he goes to a well coached team.
  11. Agree. Do we really need more than one QB on the roster ? Bring shorter O'lineman and boom... problem solved
  12. Very much agree. The guy is just a very good football player that makes plays and appears to be a good guy as well. Doctson looks like a guy who could be an all-pro type player whereas Thomas looks like just a guy
  13. A guy I really like is Devon Cajuste. He is a big third down option possesion receiver. Very Good hands...real big for a WR with and good speed. And we could build the defense in the first three rounds and still probably grab him.
  14. Really like Chris Jones. But he and college 'mate Dak Prescott need to use Uber down in Starkville.
  15. Not a fan of #19 or #80 but really like the rest of the choices. If Rankins is just going to bull rush then I guess he could work out but at #19 I think we get a bigger version for DL but... I'm as wrong as the next guy....and Jones just seems so frail and had little production. Not trying to nit pick...Just my opinion. Good job !!! I would be okay with this just not in love
  16. Wow. Love Cravens, Doctson, Goodson etc. Watch more CFB than pros but love my Bills. In fact, the only guys on this list I would be down on are Hackenberg, Ogbah, & Kearse. All those other guys I like, some very much. I hope we get two to four of those guys. Jason Spriggs ? I like him as well That looks like a very good list. esp. Beavers and Lee. Watch the Michigan St. game. Lee is invisible By the way 26CornerBlitz thanks for the info. I coached 17 years in high school and at the JC level but am know disabled due to a car accident so getting this info, esp. info on the Bills is very enjoyable !!! Ty again and go Bills
  17. Heard from a college coach that Noah Spence was the only guy in Columbus that Terrelle Pryor could call Dummy without being off base. Don't know if it's true but that was the joke
  18. The party should be great. I hear the clown they brought in last year is bringing his identical twin brother to this year's party. Should be great fun !
  19. Because there are some who wish to defend the indefensible when it comes to a team that hasn't made the playoffs this century and looks worse than the year before. The most ignorant part is the homers typing "we're doomed", for a team that has been. Been a fan since 65' and I cried with joy when we slaughtered the Raiders 51-3... that my team had finally made it. But this switching defenses back and forth and NOT hiring a new fresh mind instead of a retread is frustrating, to say the least. I would love to be so wrong but I don't think I am. Go Bills !
