Biggest fear . We draft Haasson Reddick or trade away some picks next year because Whaley is worried about winnining now or he's out mentality. My hope is that one of the top 7 Defense players make it through to pick #10 AND we take them.

I don't believe you hop on a plane 'just' for a smokescreen. But that doesn't mean they love what they saw. They might have another QB higher and wanted to confirm or change their view.

For the most part, Agree. With just 6 picks, he also better be a franchise changer cause we're going to have a lot of undrafted players on the roster and possibly making the final 53. I have to think if we are unable to trade back with say, a Philly, Wash, or Ari., then we have to go receiver(WR or TE) DB and possibly QB, not necessarily in that order. Many options @ receiver, not as many @ DB (but still quite a few), and very little @ QB.

Taking a guy who hasn't played LB to play LB is risky @ #10 (and played a lower level of competition) Just watched two of his games(Navy, and USF) and i didn't see any that he brings other than athleticism. He is way too small to take on blocks and is a complete unknown in coverage skills. But from what I have read and heard he is a great guy. Just scary when guys rise from 2md or 3rd round to Top 10 after the season. Not against him.... just saw nothing 'Top 10' in those games.

The evidence is what ? What could be the secret. Everyone has interviewed players, coaches, watched film etc.The interceptions or the slow-pitch curve ball ? I just hope the run doesn't start at #10 But a Dobbs or Davis Webb appears just as capable of becoming a good starter as the top 4 rated. Just tough when use a #1 on someone who'll be on the bench for awhile. But TT must be replaced. I Just think a 2nd rounder could work out just as well. And let's face it. We currently one of the worst cornerback and Wr rosters in the league. Would like a 1st round talent to help these very weak links. If no QB in first nine Whaley will take Watson. If I'm the GM I would not be happy because that means the seven studs on defense are gone and we'd be forced to go WR or reach for QB or CB. Try and see if Ari. craves a QB and wants to move ahead of Cleveland. OR Philly wants to move up
