Obviously the way the season ended really stinks. What makes this worse than last year, other than apparent reasons (cap, coaches, etc), is that end of last year there was at least the hope/thought that we might have best QB in NFL, at least 2nd. I think he can have another break out year next year but there is some doubt. Need to shore up o line, coaching and WR2.

Basement: What did comment mean
Riverboat Ritchie replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Had Josh Allen as 5 going into 23. Guys like him and Wright are a bit much but they do have some points. With some O line help and one more WR, I could see him getting back up to top three. -
On YouTube comments to Kyle Brandt’s basement post, there is a comment from someone claiming to be Diggs that reads KEEP.ALLEN.ON.HERE any idea what that means?
-
It probably was a penalty as you can see that he did grab for a moment the jersey but should not of been called. Tough spot for an official for sure but they do need to do better in just being consistent. It wasn’t being called on both sides all night.

Cheap

Garbage. Terrible ending to good game.

Mahomes is great but Andy Reid might be best play caller in this generation.

Ok Mahomes, the Jordan tongue thing is kinda annoying

Allen will NOT need surgery on elbow

I know he is an amazing competitor and we are so fortunate that he is with the red white and blue but they should have sat him a couple games in hindsight. I was kinda hoping he didn’t play in the MN game as just watching how that injury happened and his history, it looked like something was up. Oh well, get better Josh. -
Stefon Diggs - “I watched the game five times”
Riverboat Ritchie replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Geez, I’m afraid to say anything negative or will be labeled as poisonous, but something definitely seems off with him and Josh. These guys are professionals but still pretty young and in a league where every little thing can matter, not having QB1 and WR1 on same page could be troublesome. They are both amazing at what they do but it does seem like chemistry is off some. Go Bills -

People will pay it. It’s a rich man’s world and only getting more so. To go to a concert now can run you at least a couple hundred a tix. It’s getting crazy. -
Would you resign Edmunds or a tackle?
Riverboat Ritchie replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed, the fact that this is McD and Frazier defense and if there isn’t any change at DC, it almost seems like we have to sign Edmonds to have any success in a defense that seems to always play coverage 2 no matter what. It definitely fits Edmonds and we do t have anyone currently on roster who can fill the Mike role in our current schemes. -
Just a suggestion to help out the current affairs.

Maybe a safety for second WR but OL OL OL. -

Given how young he is, a longer deal where you can spread out hit makes sense. -
Same I guess but it’s a crappy choice. This week I kinda realized that I kinda don’t like KC because they are good. I used to dislike Kelce, but after watching some of his podcast videos with his brother, they both seem like alright people and Kelce is a beast. Mahomes ok too. KC definitely has scumbags but the apple stuff and Mixon being stupid with the tix sale stuff rubbed me wrong way. I really do not want to hear from Nick Wright though.

What Are Your Expectations For The 2023 Season?
Riverboat Ritchie replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
We are in a real tough spot. While teams change each year, the schedule looks brutal and are just too soft up front, lack of innovative coaching, and really need a legit WR2. We might eek into playoffs and be one and done but could easily see the wheels come off Really shows how much 13 secs was such a blown opportunity. That team was so red hot at the right time. Go Bills. -
We all love Josh but let’s be honest, whether Dorsey or not, he regressed this year. I know the stats are still there and he had to play hero ball with horrible line but second half of year he just didn’t seem to be seeing the field and/or forcing things too much.

Thanks to all of you as well for this past season

I’m a middle aged dude with a wife and kids living 2000 miles from my home of WNY and have done so for many years, but there is and will always be in my lifetime something really special about being a Bills fan. I know it’s a silly game played by millionaires just wearing a uniform but how it brings us together on this board, our family and friends together on Sundays and usually transcends politics and crap is something remarkable. This Year definitely took some years off my life but what can you do Crazy story and not sure why I’m writing it here as I am still struggling with it but when I left college and before joining the military, I did a year in a program called Jesuit Volunteer Corps (great experience). I was sent to work in Mobile Alabama in a Housing project running after school programs. There I befriended a family that I worked with a stayed in touch the best I could with them through the years, moves with military, kids, etc. The day before the Miami game, I got the horrible news that one of kids in that family was shot and killed outside of a gas station following a n argument with a 19 year old punk. In any event I had already got tixs and plane flights for BMore game and was taking my two kids. Long story short ( way too long sorry) I flew and dropped kids off with cousin in MD then had to fly to mobile Al for funeral service where the family wanted me to say some words. It was a whirlwind weekend but one of biggest things that will stick with me forever is when I went into that Baptist church to find an open casket and in the casket with the kid I knew, just a poor kid from Mobile AL, was a Buffalo Bills Jersey. I lost it when I saw it. It’s is silly how serious we take it all, myself included, but this distraction called football and all the crap that goes along with, is in some strange way (possibly unhealthy too sometimes) very meaningful Go Bills.- 21 replies

https://www.on3.com/news/former-alabama-nfl-linebacker-reuben-foster-signing-with-usfls-pittsburgh-maulers-in-comeback-bid/?utm_source=social&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=sec_country&fbclid=IwAR0tJrSetJdlbvdrZOaBho7dFinicmSDZ88pjUncr4OU2g9ao_D7vvjhR9M i hope we resign Edmonds but if not we are going to need to crush draft and get lucky. Maybe? We seem to be in such a bad spot this off season. I guess we will see how he pans in USFL but dude was such a stud at one point and hopefully regained the hunger.

At a crossroads roster, draft, and cap wise. Listening to radio and hearing about other teams out there stockpile draft picks and money makes me very nervous over next few years. If we can resign Edmonds, shore up line some and strike a legit 2 WR we have a shot but if we take a step back, I don’t think we can recover for 2-3 years. Next year schedule looks awful too. Go Bills.

Everybody's Feeling Stung right Now but please.....
Riverboat Ritchie replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is so annoying and pretentious to see topics on a fans message board site that are only created so someone can get on their soapbox and lecture other fans about being too passionate. I get that we want a variety of opinions and perspective but just put it in the comments and step off the soapbox and spare us the lecture of how calm and collected you are after we crapped the bed yesterday. Go Bills. -
Did you watch the game yesterday?

How confident are you the Bills beat the Bengals?
Riverboat Ritchie replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
50-50. Since the second half of Green Bay game, it seems like Bills have skated along a dangerous line all year. Bad turnovers, letting teams hang around, mid-game funks, etc. Something has been off. Still, they can turn it around and win this but I’m not sure. Let’s Go Buffalo!
