  1. kinda in same boat. As a kid I expected that I was gonna grow out of or manage emotions better the older I got but it has gotten worse when it comes to Bills. I am definitely not as much into other pro sporting events or other teams as I was when younger but with Bills, especially now, it’s on. I think part of it is particularly with the Bills, it’s kinda about family, friends home and memories. And while I get it that sports are just suppose to be a distraction from real life and it is a just a silly uniform that these millionaire kids are wearing who aren’t even from Buffalo, that distraction (because of the above (family/friends/etc) is kinda a blessing and real life in a good sense; even with all the Billsy heartache and NFL nonsense. In any event, just one before I die. Go Bills
  2. In his defense, nobody was stopping Donald but that was first thing I texted after that play. He whiffed bad on that one.
  3. I hope he has a good psychologist or whatever as pressure has to be pretty intense. Kid seems to answer it though and stay focused. Next year will be interesting. Go Bills.
  4. Yes. Tons of Bills fans and a lot of people wanted to talk about the KC game and how great the O was and about 13 seconds. He was obviously the biggest draw in terms of gear people were wearing. Real cool experience. Local paper from back home got wind of it and wrote an article. https://wellsvillesun.com/blog/2022/02/06/meeting-josh-allen-wellsvilles-mike-felsen-and-family-enjoy-a-day-they-will-never-forget-as-buffalo-bills-qb-golfs-in-pro-am/?fbclid=IwAR0s1HXZ5hSEUXBLLMSyWFEkX0YQGoLaiPSY0hAka6eLgMoA7uNWJLGaJjY great experience but hopefully both JA17 and me and family are not going to Pebble Beach this time next year. Go Bills.
  5. Maybe on Thursday mercury sun but everyone on that golf course today knew who Josh Allen was. You constantly overheard about the number of Bills fans there. It was an awesome Bills experience. Watched them lose twice this year (kc and Indy) and while I would of rather him not be eligible to have played in this event this year, it was a nice consolation prize in some respect. Him and his family were super cool and nice to my kids; he signed the autographs, gave fist bumps, posed for photos and created some great memories. In words of TO “that’s my quarterback”. Long live JA17. Go Bills.
  6. Not a food snob but having worked at a Hut back in 90s as dishwasher/cook will never go near one. Really nasty. His Twitter feed gives impression he might not be too high on Bills and management. I bet his is gone by March.
  7. I wonder if Dorsey will start in the booth or sideline? Didn’t Daboll start on sideline but had to go to booth.
  8. Last pro golf event I went to was 30 years ago in Rochester. What is etiquette for these things? Is it ok to scream let’s go Buffalo after he tees off? Thought I was going to have to put away the 17 jersey for the season but getting one more wear. Go JA17. Go Bills.
  9. huh? WTF are you talking about? People are upset and rightfully so. it seems like we had our best shot in decades to win it all and unpredictable nature of NFL, cap numbers, cool aching changes makes it that much more challenging to get back to a position we were in but if anyone can will it, it is JA17. I also think another year for Diggs and Josh to gel and Gabe as #2 should be awesome. I really hope Rossaue (sp?) and Basham come on strong too. Go Bills.
  10. or if there is some bad blood with mcclappy. I forgot if it was Colts game or first Pats where McD presser seemed to indicate that there was some friction with him and Daboll. If Dorsey leaves hopefully locker room can stay tight. I imagine it does as core should still be here and losing like this hopefully is good motivation fodder for off season and next year. Go Bills.
  11. Dude, no one is crapping on anything but lets be real. We blew an amazing opportunity due mainly to coaching. An opportunity that as we have learned since the Bills first came into league in 1960 (granted AFL and we have those “championships”) do not come around frequently. I hope this team comes out so fired up at beginning of year and runs the table and with JA17 anything is possible. But NFL seasons are brutal like a WNY winter and unpredictable.
  12. certainly I agree with some of this but getting to a Super Bowl and then winning it is not easy. Yes Allen is great and yes we are championship caliber but that doesn’t mean crap. If this season taught us anything, it is that momentum and staying relatively healthy means a lot. We were incredibly lucky with the exception of great Tre White to stay injury free. Whose to say that happens next year. Also we were really peaking the last half of the season, again that can change too. We were a team that was capable of losing to J-ville when not clicking. I guess what people are so frustrated about is knowing that in terms of opponents and paths to the Lombardi, it may never be as straight as it was going into last Sunday. There are no guarantees. Damn, just one before I die. Go Bills.
  13. loudest stadium I have ever been. Cool tailgating scene and WWI museum was phenomenal. Most of fans cool and knowledgeable. Just like BLO, some morons but all and all some real good people. I’m sure in a few weeks after I’ve recovered from 13 seconds, I’ll say it was a cool experience. Lol. Go Bills.
  14. Just curious what are vet players (Hyde, poyer) were thinking or said during this. Unreal. Who called the defense during the TOs? Didn’t hear presser from McD but sounds like he didn’t say much.
  15. Bit of a loser mentality but kinda don’t want the Chiefs to win as I don’t want them to sniff 4 straight AFC championships. However definitely see arguments on both sides and have a feeling they will roll over Cincy.
  16. You have to respect what McD has done in terms of changing the culture and he seems to be a good dude and fine motivator. But game management wise he is a bit of a liability. He seems to fix mistakes but only after they happen. Obviously can’t get rid of him but next year will be interesting. I don’t remember why Reid let him go in Philly but curious if anyone else does.
  17. Just curious what, if any, news there is on his injury and time table to get back. As a corner I can’t imagine he will be 100 percent next year.
  18. we have 90s Dolphins written all over us right now. Need to get pass the Grim Reeper. This one really sucks
  19. Great post and thank you. The tailgating, family reunions are irreplaceable. Many of us live all over the country/world but when you spot a Bills fan it brings you back to family. What really sucks about this one is the blown opportunity. I’m 45 and I joke that I just need one before I die. Driving to hotel from arrowhead for first time I kinda thought that it might not happen. It’s a silly game but just one before I die. Go Bills
  20. Same. Worst part leaving Arrowhead and getting all the ataboys from Chief fans. Most of them just being kind and gave them fist bumps back but so tired of being a fan of the same old bumbling Bills. We blew a big opportunity last night.
  21. Misery loves company. Obviously much more important things in life than this but this one certainly stings more than I can remember including MCM as I just don’t remember that being as much of a blown opportunity as this. With that being said Bills fans still the best. While I can’t wait to take a break from football for a while after last night, I have a feeling most of us will be back next year for the ups and downs of our Bills. This one really sucks though. Go Bills and thanks all.
