Yeah I bet every GM in the entire NFL sits around with his staff looking at who the scouts and GM of one of the worst teams in football likes to decide their draft order No offense to you, your statement just struck me as funny is all

To the Jills if there is a God. -
You seem to think that SJ's market value is considerably higher than I do. But he, like most of the other FA's and GM's, are simply playing the game. SJ is seeing what other teams might be interested and what they are willing to pay for his services. This helps him determine his actual market value. Then he evaluates all the offers, including the Bills, and picks the one he likes the best overall. It's a simple game that is played every year at this time by a subset of players that have the opportunity. We will know if SJ will be a Bill when he signs with someone. No point to these mental masturbation threads until then.

When he isn't ball washing any and all big-name QBs playing. I thought he was going to offer to have Brady's baby a couple times.

Oh man you have done it now. Queue the Spiller lovers, Fitz lovers, AND SJ lovers

At the beginning of the season they will say "remember how he started last year and how he crashed and burned". If Fitz has a strong complete season, some will start to see him in a different light. But some still won't no matter what. Welcome to fan forums

Not really baffling. Mr. Wilson has kept the Bills in Buffalo. To many, that is enough.

I agree completely. The reason why the numbers cited look so good is because of all the short passes called (one would think because of a lack of confidence in either the O line, the QB's arm, or both). The QBs that "have all day" to throw, generally do. They drop back in the pocket and stay there surveying the field. Fitz did that rarely, and when he did he usually ended up running for his life. From my perspective, the Bills O line didn't suck, but they weren't one of the strongest in the league either. Likewise I love Fitz's toughness and brain. But I find his arm lacking. Ultimately, in my opinion, both will need upgrades before they scare anyone in the post season.

Why are we talking about free agency?

I wouldn't feel bad if they signed a few more rejects like Barnett. -
Why We're Heading In The Right Direction

I do look forward to next season and have the expectation of continued improvement. But I am sick of the posts that insist that everyone billieve there is going to be some miracle and the Bills will stun the NFL and win the AFC East if not the superbowl next season. And if you don't mindlessly believe it, you are not a "fan". That's all. -

Wow what a refreshing viewpoint that I have never heard before! It is all so clear to me now. The last dozen seasons were not the dirty dozen at all! Nay, it was just a prelude to the glory that will be the 2012 Buffalo Bills season! Thank you Mr. Kid, you changed my life! -
I don't follow sports reporters so I will ask you guys. Does Florio often pull stuff out of his ass like this in the off season trying to create a controversy?

Interesting read about players vs.fans
CodeMonkey replied to Guffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That has been true a long time. To the fans it is a passion but to the players it is a (very well paying) career first and foremost. -
But Roger, Sunday ticket gets blacked out as well. And the increase you see equates to a significant (say 25% fewer unsold tickets) for blacked out games do you estimate? If so, then color me surprised because like I said, I know of no one ever who has done that. That is my very unscientific sample size of me however

Add one more Bills fan to the list.

The economy being bad is more of a reason TO broadcast the games on TV. As long as tax money goes into the Ralph in the form of renovations, traffic, etc. I think it is the right of the people paying those taxes to watch the game on TV if they so desire. Particularly the ones who cannot afford to spend a couple hundred dollars to see the game at the Ralph yet are forced to pay the taxes anyway. But this is actually not my biggest complaint. My complaint is that directTV subscribers get blacked out. They PAY to see the game. And the NFL does see a big taste of the money paid for the Sunday ticket by the subscribers. Everyone who pays money should be able to get what they paid for, period. I also don't think the blackout rule has a profound effect on attendance on game day in Buffalo. People that go to the games go because they love the experience. Whether the game is on TV or not does not even enter into their decision making process. I don't know of anyone ever who has gone to a game because it was blacked out. Maybe there are some, but I doubt it is anything resembling a significant number. If you are arguing that over the course of a few seasons, like say the current dirty dozen, people might be even more inclined to drop their seasons if they knew all games would be on TV. You could be right, I don't know. But in my opinion the answer to that problem is not blackouts, but fielding a team that does not suck ass. And for other cities who have problems selling tickets, try lowering the ticket price to a point where it doesn't require a 2nd mortgage to buy a pair of seasons. And it was horse flys

Maria Menounos makes good on Super Bowl bikini bet
CodeMonkey replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It sucks to be him I guess huh -
If I thought I was wrong I would admit it. Like I said previously, Spiller did improve in some ways towards the end of the season, and I do not believe I have ever called him a bust (yet). But he still has a long way to go in my opinion. I hope he gets there, we will see. I still don't see him as a every down back however. He simply lacks the power at least so far. Of course just my opinion. Yours obviously differs.

My wife does too. Kim K. isn't exactly a Mensa candidate either. However she did figure out a way to run that scam and make an estimated 15 million dollars so maybe she isn't as stupid as I thought. -

Before he became a Kardashian how many people even knew who Kris Humphries was. Now he is one of the most disliked. Funny and at the same time sad that garbage TV shows like Kardashians influence the thinking of so many people. -
Fitz Has Possibly Had A Broken Rib Since Toronto?
CodeMonkey replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do they say the name of the patient? No. I know several doctors and nurses and yes, they all have stories to tell. But if they think there is even a chance you could figure out who the patient is from the details of the story, they will not tell it. Doctors who violate HIPAA that blatantly probably won't be doctors very much longer. -
State funding for RWS Stadium improvements?
CodeMonkey replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here is one I think any company doing business in NYS needs some kind of filing with the state like your (considerably more official looking than mine) link shows. And I'm not sure was a "entity" is. But it shows principal executive office is in MI. I'm no lawyer, and after seeing both links I'm not sure now
