  1. Spiller did not make the pro bowl because the Bills suck ass and have not been anywhere near relevant for well over a decade and counting. The pro bowl is a popularity contest and no one gives a **** about the Bills.
  2. Plus he would get paid for next season even if he is fired.
  3. As will most now if ChaNix both return next season.
  4. I still think they will both be back next season.
  5. This. At most Gailey might tell Nix he is OK with being fired. No way either one give up that much money. Mularkey figured he would get another job. Gailey and Nix both know this is the end of the line for them.
  6. Not quite over yet. Black Monday tomorrow.
  7. 8-8 is mediocre. Under ChaNix the Bills are still fantasizing about being mediocre.
  8. I just listened a little in the car, has the entire game been as much of a joke as it sounded?
  9. A lot of Bills fans love him and would be excited to have him be a part of the organization in any way. It also would add more fuel to the fire of this group of rich backers he has lined up to buy the Bills when the time comes. I agree with you that Kelly brings nothing to the table other than his passion for the Bills and for Buffalo. But that passion is more than enough for a large amount of the Bills ticket buying public. I do not expect Kelly to have building or any other significant role. More like a VP of selling tickets.
  10. James Edward Kelly. Not ownership transfer, but some position that will allow the Bills to parade him around for good PR.
  11. Yeah I never understood how people could believe businesses (not counting people turning their yards into parking lots, but bars and restaurants etc.) can make most, or even a significant percentage, of their annual income in 8 days of the year and be able to stay in business. Unless the establishment is only open those 8 days a year in the first place. Businesses around the arena are a lot different. The sabres have 41 home games per year. Plus the arena has other teams, numerous concerts and other events as well. There is no comparison to be made about businesses around the arena and the ones around the Ralph.
  12. Some guy you may have heard of before, goes by the name of Chan Gailey.
  13. No Revis, right? I'd think he will get it if for no other reason than Fitz and even Gailey will try and get it for him.
  14. Enter Jim Kelly.
  15. What's the over/under on arrests, including parking lots and DUIs after the game? And how would you like to be those poor Jet Blue flight attendants on the return flight.
  16. Come on now! Maybe Gruden heard that Kelly was going to join the organization at a level over Brandon and that got him fired up to coach the Bills!
  17. I did not know they did those other things. But even so, they are minor. I mean how many people go to a HS football or lacrosse game, or a paintball tournament. The Bills games are the only *significant* events held at the stadium.
  18. Fixed it for you
  19. I agree with you here. No matter what your opinion of him as a coach, he has been honest to a fault. In my opinion sometimes taking the blame for some things that were not his fault.
  20. Well thought out and put together. I disagree only regarding RB (I'd give the slight edge to 2009, but imagine what a Lynch/Spiller pair might have done), and DL (shouldn't be with the $$$ they spent but again, a slight advantage to 2009).
  21. I bet you said the same thing when Jauron was fired. I expect the fate of Fitz will be left to the HC, be it Gailey or someone else. What is interesting to me is that no one, and I mean no one, seems to be interested in the game Sunday. All the posts are about who might or might not be fired Monday. And all with seemingly no credible basis in fact, just rumor or speculation.
  22. That's $110 I'd rather have in my pocket if I lived in Erie county and did not give a **** about the Bills. Particularly since the Bills are the only thing it is used for, and only for 10 (or less) games per year. Crazy.
  23. The game is blacked out so I won't be watching, and therefore not complaining. Honestly, I could not care less if they win or lose. Just thankful the season is over.
  24. Ahhh you underestimate the power of the koolaid my friend Think back to not that long ago when Gailey was the gem no one but the Bills FO recognized. And about how firing Gailey was the biggest mistake Jerrah even made. And how Fitz was going to magically become a HOF QB under Gaileys mega-mind (I will always love that name) offense. And how T.O. was going to be the missing piece to the puzzle. And sooooo many others Bills fans (some anyway) are ardent koolaid drinkers and will chug all that OBD serves up, then ask for more!
  25. Me, no. But there are a lot of Bills fans who, I dare say, worship Kelly. If Jimbo says it's a good thing, then it is a good thing.
